Note: Before reading I would like you all to know that this is a long post and I would really like if you read the complete thing. But if you lack the patience then please do read the part in italics...

Naina is his life. The only one who understood the real inner Sameer. Who gave him the warmth and love he always craved for. Who reduced the insecurities that he carried from his childhood. Her love guided him and he started facing challenges rather than running away from it. During the bet revelation phase, Sameer really understood and acknowledged her love for him. He got what he always wanted love'. He believed that even he was capable of giving and receiving love. For the first time Sameer did not give up easily and tried really hard to win her love back. He started changing himself for her and because of her.

Then the Delhi phase came in where he was separated from her by distance but not by heart. He lost his biggest support at that time. His Nanu. The only one who loved Sameer genuinely. After nanu it was mundit and Naina who gave him unconditional love and care. After nanu's death, Naina automatically became his only solace. He started to depend on her more emotionally. This was the time he developed a deep attachment for her. Even though he was away from her he still loved her immensely. He knew that Naina too loved him deeply. He knew that no matter whatever happens, there is someone who is waiting for him. There is someone who he can go back to, the one who would support him. Distance did not reduce their love but increased it. As their love increased Sameer's attachment also increased. Naina now became his reason to live, as she loved him unconditionally.

Then came the trip to Ahemedabad, where he was more than happy to see her, to be near her. But the trip did not go as expected when he saw her photo. The possessiveness in him surfaced. But it was not the first time we saw his possessiveness for her. During the tilak ceremony he helped Naina with her dress so that she would not go down for the ceremony in that state. Then in Shefali's house with just the mention of Tebriwal's name he got angry. When she teased him, when he came to give her his nani's saree This is his nature. He saw Naina in that pose in the photo and got furious. He couldn't bear that someone else would have seen her in that pose. For him Naina and her love just belongs to him. He cant stand that someone else tries to have what is his. So he displays his possessiveness in the form of anger. He smashes the photo frame and leaves the place. Doesn't think about Naina, doesn't realize the damage he had caused. Later when he realizes, he feels guilty as there was no fault of her.

Then came the manhoos phase, where he considered himself as unlucky and tried to distance himself from her for her betterment. All he wanted was her safety as she is the only one who loves him deeply and losing her would mean losing his reason to live.

Then the infamous break up track that shook Sameer to the core. He lost his balance, stability and above all Naina. He wanted her love, attention and care back and did whatever he could to get it back. when he got to know that Naina was getting engaged to someone, he lost his cool and Sameer's possessive self resurfaced. Again with the possessiveness came anger. He just wanted her back. for him Naina was only his. But because of Naina's rishta being fixed he lost his right over her, the right that belonged only and only to him and hence, he got mad. Anger took control of him and the result was su drama. This was the phase where his past insecurity made a come back. The feeling of yet again being abandoned. The feeling of being alone without any support. He saw that he was not her priority while she was his top most priority. Later again realization started slowly coming onto him, along with Naina's rishta being broken he again wanted to claim what was his.

Then comes Kartik's action of hugging her that caught him completely off guard. But this time Vishaka's words and seeds of doubt started showing its effects and yet again anger rose out of his possessiveness. He couldn't bear the sight in front of him. His love was in someone else's arms. He couldn't see anything beyond his possessiveness. Vishaka's words played a bad role of fueling the fire. Fire which was already his nature right from the beginning. His fears were rekindled. His fear of losing her, losing her love. Vishaka's words continuously rang in his ears, that she is practical and he is emotional. If Vishaka would have not said those to Sameer still he would have got angry at her but he would have cooled down a bit but here he is thinking that yet again Naina did not keep him as her priority.

you cant actually justify his anger but understand it. He loves Naina a lot. He trusts their love but the case now is not just about trust. He does trust her but his state of mind is not allowing him to see the complete truth. This is his mistake. He cant see anything beyond his anger. The anger that stems out of his possessiveness. The solution to this anger is only Naina and her love. Talking to her and expressing how he feels will reduce his anger. Even the VO said that even now the adult Sameer feels jealous of the incident. That is Sameer's nature. His possessiveness gets channelized in the form of anger and this time the additional element is Vishaka's words.

You cant actually blame Sameer. Yes I agree Sameer is wrong but the reason for it is deeply rooted in his mind which will not vanish quickly. Gradually with Naina's love and care it will diminish but right now his state of mind is not allowing him to do so. His behavior towards Naina is not justified but I cant blame him completely as at times our mind does behave in certain ways because of childhood experiences and trauma. This anger is directly resulting from his lowered self esteem and Vishaka did play a role in that. As a child Sameer's attachment level was really low and that is showing up now in his insecurity and jealousy/possessiveness. Right now Sameer's self esteem, his possessiveness and most importantly his childhood insecurity is controlling his behavior and ways of interpreting the situation at hand. He is going back to the stage where he used to run away from the situation rather than face it. He is behaving like a child rather than a mature adult. This immaturity is caused by his childhood experience and the recent doubt in his mind that brought back the childhood insecurity. His lowered self esteem, that Naina is better than him, which was instilled by his mom already caused anxiety within him. A lot of things were already running in his mind even before the drama track. Vishaka not accepting Naina and most importantly Vishaka's reason for not accepting Naina. The anxiety and stress in him increased with the drama track and Naina participating in it and Kartik hugging her.

This is just my POV and I am not completely favoring Sameer's behavior. What he is doing is wrong but I am just trying to understand why he is doing so. Finally I do not support either Sameer or Naina alone. I strongly support Samaina...

. the story is about samaina
and they are not two individuals but one
sameer's is actually behaving that way because of vishakha's words
else his behavior would have been different
he would have gotten angry on her
but also beaten kartik black and blue for doing that to her
here he is not thinking
he is blinded by vishakha's words
but when this blind will be removed
we will surely see the sameer that has always been naina's strength
