Thank you for such a long update! I loved it!
Absolutely adored Munna and Swati's scene. They have the cutest love story - here and in the show. Munna is one of the best and most underrated characters in the show. Everyone always thinks where Sameer be without Naina. But have a thought, since episode 1 where would sameer be without munna.Sameer is taking chances these days lol. I love reading his POV cos it's sweet and funny and cheeky and hot. Teenage hormones in full gear here lol.Naina is a sweetheart here but I hope to see more of confident stubborn smart loving Naina (like the show). This Naina is a tiny bit acquisant to Sameer but that might be because of their relationship (she's younger, he's richer, he's her brothers best friend, college hero, vagera vagera). I like Naina who sees herself as Sameers equal.Cannot wait for the next update. You write beautifully
It was a quiet morning and the city of Ahemdabad was busy dealing with the problems of the daily morning chores.
Sameer and Naina had just finished with a fantastic date, and now they were heading to entrance of the factory, hand in hand. Naina was resting her head on Sameer's shoulder and he was tugging her to himself. They reached his car, and Sameer opened the door for her gracefully, while Naina just giggled and hit his chest playfully. They drove off to the college, without really noticing the young man, who was hiding in the bushes. The intruder didn't look too happy, but one couldn't really read his facial expressions.
Sameer reached the college, and he stopped the car a little far, so that the young lady beside him could reach the entrance of college, unnoticed by the nosy college population. However, Naina didn't move from her place. Instead she was gazing at Sameer intensely, as if she wanted a good make-out session.
If Sameer had resolved that he had to control his lust for Naina, the way Naina was looking at him right now, wasn't proving much help. To make the matters worse, Naina stepped closer to him and bit her lip, looking very kissable. Sameer's control finally snapped. He couldn't take it any longer. He is a man! No one can blame him! He grabbed her shoulders, and was about to claim her lips, when Naina bit his nose and laughed. Sameer was rubbing his nose in shock, when Naina simply tongue-teased him and escaped from there.
Sameer smiled in adoration at her retreating back. His girl was getting naughtier. No. She was was getting naughtier and bolder. He shook his head in amusement, and went to park his car at the stands.
Naina quickly reached her class and tried her best to contain her excitement. She did it didn't she. She actually bit him. She bit Sameer Maheshwari, her childhood fantasy, first love, and boyfriend on his nose. Well, she wasn't planning to do it. It was a natural reflex and totally unintentional. She smiled remembering his shocked expression, and headed towards the canteen, with the scenes from their first date playing in her head.
She reached the Red Rose, only to see a swarm of girls around her boyfriend. Naina frowned deeply. What the hell! Sameer's eyes fell on her, and he grinned in his head. He suddenly looked too interested in the girl in front of him and the conversation. Naina scoffed and went closer. What the hell were they talking about?. A second year girl was talking to Sameer and he was (in Naina's opinion) enjoying the attention,
"Sameer aaj tum bahut acche lag rahe ho. Waise toh hamesha hi acche lagte ho, par aaj to kuch zyada hi " She completed and sighed deeply, while Naina controlled her urge to punch her in the face.
One third year joined the praise too and exclaimed,
"Ha isne sahi kaha Sameer. Accha main tumhe woh match ke liye toh congratulate karna chahti thi, par time hi nahi Mila. Waise bhi, humari team Ko tumse accha captain nahi mil Sakta." Naina was tightly clutching a spoon, and it didn't look like it was in a very good condition by now. Sameer smiled uncomfortably at the girl, while the latter smiled extremely widely.
Sameer's eyes fell on Naina, who was glaring at him with all her being. He gulped hard and looked around for help. In dangerous moments like these, he couldn't really enjoy her jealousy. Sameer tried to move out from the crowd, but another girl interrupted his fast move,
"Are Sameer Abhi jaane ki kya jaldi hai. Main soch Rahi thi ki main tumhari elections mein kuch help kar du. You know elections bahut zyada tiresome process hai. Meri handwriting kaafi acchi hai, toh main tumhare liye posters Bana Sakti hoon. Aarti loves Sameer... oh sorry,... mera matlab Vote for Sameer"
"Uski koi zaroorat nahi hai. Sameer ki team mein main hoon" A high pitched voice interrupted her, and all turned around to see Sunaina and Mitali standing there. Sameer slapped his forehead. Can this situation get any worse?
She moved closer and stood beside Sameer. She looked at Aarti and said,
"Tumhari handwriting kitni acchi hai, yeh toh mujhe pata hi hai. Aur Sameer ke posters mein style hona chahiye. Tumhare lack of style ke baare mein sab jaante hai Aarti" Sunaina finished and glared at Aarti.
However, this wasn't all, since the little argument between Sunaina and Aarti soon turned into a major civil war. The other girls too started arguing about how they are better for Sameer and how they love him more. One of the girl even elaborated about how she and Sameer would have wonderful kids and they have a very bright future ahead. Naina turned even more angry at this, while Sameer's gaze was plastered on hers. He quickly moved from the crowd and grabbed her hand. Naina rushed out of the canteen, and Sameer quietly followed her, praying for his safety. They reached a corner and Naina finally turned to him. Sameer looked quiet scared by now, and he was definitely expecting a long scolding from her.
To his utter surprise, she moved closer and kissed him full on the mouth. The kiss was filled with possesiveness and Sameer hadn't been more shocked in his life. Nonetheless, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. Soon, he took the lead of the kiss and slipped his tongue inside her mouth, while Naina moaned when his tongue stroked her own. Sameer's hand went upwards and reached her shoulder. He gently massaged her neck, while Naina collapsed on his chest. He slowly scratched the fabric around her shoulder, and pushed it on her upper arm, exposing her soft flesh. Naina shivered and he broke the kiss. Sameer gazed at her, and Naina looked uncomfortable due to her exposed skin. Sameer moved closer, and placed a soft kiss on her arm. Naina moaned even more deeply, and Sameer again pulled her closer. Before he could take her into another kiss, Naina broke free from his hold and headed towards the Red Rose.
Sameer saw her retreating back and sighed. It was definitely a warning. A silent and dangerous warning about how she won't let him kiss her again if anyone comes close to him. He smiled at his little and possessive girlfriend, and ran his hand through his hair, before heading to the canteen himself.
He reached the Red Rose and thankfully, it was empty by now. The gang had also reached there table. He went to sit with Naina, but before he could actually sit, she tried to stand up. She was still angry. He held her hand under the table and made her sit down. His fingers threaded to her fingers and refused to let go. Naina still glared at him, though it had lessened than before. A few minutes more, and now Naina was wholeheartedly smiling at him. Perhaps, the handhold gave her the insurance that he is hers, which was all she needed right then.
The gang was discussing about the upcoming elections, when Sunaina and Mitali joined them, apologising for being late and complaining about how they didn't call them. Naina and Preeti exchanged "I am fed up of them" glances, while Pandit sighed deeply. Arjun was calming down a now irritated Sameer through his eyes, though it wasn't helping much. Munna and Swati were busy exchanging loving glances, and it didn't look like they were bothered much.
Sunaina tried to sit with Sameer, but Naina was quick enough to move her chair closer to him, leaving Sunaina with no other option, but to sit between Preeti and Naina, since Sameer's other side was occupied by the wall. Mitali had to sit between Preeti and Swati, and Preeti looked quiet annoyed by the discovery.
The gang simply ignored their presence, and ordered their meals. This time, Sameer included a chocolate pastry in his order, along with the usual pav bhaji and Mangola. While the food was being made, the gang finally began their discussions about the elections.
"Dekho ab yeh baat to ho hi chuki hai ki hum log students se khud jaakar unki problem puchenge aur phir uska solution nikaalkar use speech mein include karenge. Ab yeh decide karo ki kaun kinse baat karega." Sameer finished.
"Sameer ek kaam karte hai, tu aur main second year ke ladko ko Sambhal lenge. Unhein zyada problem hongi bhi nahi." Arjun chimed in.
"Ha yeh theek hai. Aur main aur Munna jaake third year walon se baat kar lenge" Pandit declared happily.
"Main aur Mitali jaakar third year ki ladkiyo se baat karte hai." Sunaina said in her high pitched voice.
"Ise kaun apni problem batayega. Kam to kar nahin Sakti, problem badha zaroor Sakti hai", Sameer mumbled under his breadth, while Naina giggled silently.
"Main, Naina aur Swati second year ki ladkiyo se baat kar lenge. Lekin first year ke ladke toh abhi bhi bache hai." Preeti pointed out.
"Abe ha Arjun yeh toh socha hi nahi." Pandit told.
"Unse bhi hum hi baat kar lete hai." Preeti said in a too-suggestive tone. Perhaps, she was looking for a guy or a good boyfriend.
"Koi zaroorat nahi hai ladko se baat karne ki. Hum log sab Sambhal lenge. College padhne aati ho ya gulcharrey udaane" Arjun declared in a stern voice, and Preeti's feeble hopes were instantly crushed away.
"Toh decide ho Gaya, hum log khana khaake kaam par lag jayenge. Koshish karna ki zyada se zyada logon se baat kar Sako, taaki aur problems pata chal payein." Sameer finished happily.
The food finally arrived, and the gang became busy in stuffing themselves. Pandit ordered an extra plate of Samosa for himself, exclaiming how he had to work very hard. Munna was passing his untouched samosa to a very-crimson Swati, who refused it silently. Preeti was glaring at Sunaina, who was sharing her disapproval on Preeti's calories-filled samosa. Sameer was putting good amount of butter in Naina's bhaji, though she didn't look very happy about it.
"Sameer main itna makkhan nahi khati"
"Toh ab khalo. Poore college mein ghoomke logon se baat karni hai tumhe. Mujhe pata hai ki baadmein kuch nahi khaogi."
"Accha baadmein toh tum bhi kuch nahi khaoge. Main tumhare liye pav manga Rahi hoon."
"Lekin Naina maine toh kha Liya na."
"Toh kya hua"
This argument was followed by Naina ordering pav for Sameer, while he smiled at her care, something for which he always craved for. Sometime later, Sameer passes a chocolate pastry filled spoon to Naina, who refused it.
"Yeh humari pehli date ke liye. Muh meetha kar lo."
Naina blushed at his comment, and ate the pastry as he instructed. She filled the same spoon with the pastry, and kept it on his plate, while he enjoyed the bite thoroughly, hiding it from the others. The spoon still had traces of Naina's sweet mouth, making the dessert even more sweeter.
Finally, the time for departure arrived, and Sameer definitely wasn't too happy about it. Nonetheless, he waved a secret goodbye to Naina and wandered off with Arjun. Naina too went away with Preeti and Swati, while the latter was staring at a Munna, who was walking off with a too-excited Pandit. The presence of Sunaina and Mitali was thankfully forgotten.
The gang spent the next two hours in bridging the communication gap between the students. Sameer and Arjun weren't too successful in their survey, since the first and second year boys were more interested in knowing about the team's chances in winning the tournament, but Arjun looked quiet happy to answer the questions. Sunaina and Mitali spent the majority of the time in taunting the dressing sense of the college girls, and spent the minimum time in actually discussing. Pandit and Munna were more engrossed in criticising the college system, and the addition of the other thirds years just added fuel to the fire. The three girls weren't much successful either, since the majority of the girls were only interested in knowing if Sameer is single, after which Naina snapped at them and said, "Nahi woh single nahi hai". This statement was followed by confused looks from Preeti and Swati, which Naina chose to avoid wholeheartedly.
But the day wasn't that disastrous either, since at the day end, the gang proved victorious after all.

After dropping Arjun home, Sameer drove to the Maheshwari Villa, extremely excited about discussing the election issues with Nanu and sharing the report prepared by them. They will surely have a hearty laugh.
After he parked the car at the entrance, he entered his house, only to see the person he was least interested in seeing, standing in the living room. His Nanu smiled, as soon as he saw him, and Sameer touched his feet. Nanu poked him to pay his respect to intruder, and Sameer reluctantly listened to him.
As he bent down to the level of her feet, he remembered all the times when she was rude and unsympathetic towards him, but he touched her feet nonetheless. She kept her hand on his head reluctantly and Sameer winced at the lack of love in it. He turned back to retire to his room, but the female voice interrupted his move,
"Kab tak avoid karega Sameer. Maa hoon main teri"
Sameer turned extremely angry at her words.
"Accha ab yaad aa Gaya aapko, ki aap meri maa hai. Aur main Wahi kar Raha hoon jo aap mujhe Delhi jaakar Karti hai, woh hai avoid. Waise main kabse aapka beta ho Gaya, mujhe toh Laga ki aap sirf Rohan aur Deepika ki maa hai. Ab jhootha pyaar dikhaane se kuch nahi hone wala"
"Dekha papa aapne. Main jitni koshish kar lu, yeh ladka kabhi mujhe samajh hi nahi Sakta. Aaj bhi main sirf isse itni durr se Milne aayi hoon, Lekin isse koi parwa hi nahi hai. Kya zaroorat hai itni badtameezi karne ki. Aisa kya Kiya hai maine" Vishakha shouted back at him.
"Vishakha, Sameer shaant ho jao, aaraam se baithkar baat bhi ho Sakti hai." Nanu tried to calm them down, all in vain.
"Nahi Nanu, aaj toh baat honi hi chahiye. Mummy problem yahin toh hi ki aapne kabhi kuch nahi Kiya, mere liye. Bachpan mein har bacche Ko maa chahiye Hoti hai, paise ya toys nahi. Lekin aapne papa ki death ke Baad kya Kiya, Apne husband se shaadi ki aur Delhi Chali gayi. Saal mein bas ek ya do Baar aati thi. Phir Deepika ke paida hone ke Baad toh woh bhi khatm ho Gaya. Agar nanu aur mere dost na hote, toh pata nahi kya hota mera"
"Toh tune bhi iss rishte ke liye kya Kiya hai Sameer. Main maanti hoon ki main galat hoon, par tu bhi sahi nahi hai. Sirf gussa karne se rishte nahi bante, doosro ki baat Ko Sunna aur samajhna bhi padta hai."
"Kabhi aapne yeh karke dekha. Kabhi mujhse aamne saamne ya phone par baat ki. Nahin na. Aapko kaise pata ki main theek hoon. Main khush hoon. Main sahi raah.. par hoon bhi ya nahi. Bhatak toh nahi Gaya na... Sirf har saal result pata karne aati thi. Kabhi mere cricket ya music awards Ko dekha bhi hai aapne."
With that, Sameer stormed off to his room, leaving a tensed Nanu and a tearful Vishakha behind.
As Sameer entered his room, he closed the door with a bang and knocked his guitar off. His gaze fell on his punching bag, and he punched it repeatedly. The anger still didn't subside. Kya samajhti hai khud Ko. Jab man Kiya aayi aur jab Mann Kiya Chali gayi. Kabhi meri parva nahi ki, aur Abhi bhi dikhava karne hi aayi hai. Ab main paanch saal wala Sameer nahi hoon. Mujhe unki aur unke jhoothe pyaar ki koi zaroorat nahi hai.

The next day wasn't that great, since Sameer's anger hadn't subsided at all. He woke up extremely early that day, and drove off to college. Perhaps, he was hoping to avoid his mother at all costs.
He reached the college, and went to the ground to practice cricket. His friends reached about one and a half hour later, and seeing his very-bad mood and extra-forceful shots, they understood that his mother had come to meet him and they avoided any kind of interaction.
Sameer didn't join them, when they were heading towards the Red Rose, and they had no option, but to go without him. When they reached the Red Rose, they sat themselves on their table, while the girls were already seated there. Naina cast an excited glance at the door, but Sameer didn't arrive. She waited for another ten minutes, but there was no sign of him. She finally asked Munna,
"Munna woh Sameer nahi aaya"
"Umm... woh nahi ayega. Tum log order karna shuru kar do." Munna informed and waved off the topic.
Seeing Naina's questionable gaze, Pandit slowly moved close to Naina and whispered unaudibly,
"Woh uski mummy aayi hai toh... matlab woh ground mein practice kar Raha hai"
Naina suddenly lost her appetite and excused herself, informing that she was heading to the classroom and she ate aloo parathas in her breakfast and wasn't hungry anymore. She then walked off towards the ground.
When she reached the ground, she saw her boyfriend, in the cricket uniform and covered in his sweat. He was holding a bat and was swaying it in the air, hitting imaginary balls. One look at him, and she could tell that he was in fact, very angry.
She went closer to him, and he finally noticed her, though he didn't smile at her like he usually does. He ignored her and concentrated on swaying the bat. She lightly cleared her throat, but he didn't pay any attention.
" Sameer Tum aaj Red Rose nahi aaye"
"Meri marzi. Tumhe kya matlab hai. Tum jaao Yahaan se." He snapped at her.
"Sameer Pandit ne bataya ki tumhari mummy aayi hai. Mujhe pata hai ki woh, umm... tumhare saath nahi Rehti. Par tum itne dukhi mat ho please."
"Maine kaha na ki jaao Yahaan se. Aur main koi dukhi nahi hoon. Meri kismat mein pyaar Naam ka Shabd hi nahi hai. Isliye maine ummeed karni hi chhodd di hai. Aur ha, meri maa ke baare mein Tum kuch nahi jaanti, toh inn Sabse Durr hi raho."
"Sameer sabki maa unse pyaar Karti hai. Meri maa bhi mujhse karti, agar woh yahaan Hoti. Par tumhe apni maa se baat toh karni chahiye. Tum apni jagah sahi ho, par thande dimaag se unki baat bhi toh suno. Agar tum thoda unki baat Ko samjhoge, to shayad tumhara reaction kuch aur hoga. Aur baat karne se humesha rishte mazboot hote hai." Naina exclaimed softly.
Sameer was extremely angry by now.
"Tum jaanti hi kya ho rishto ke baare mein. Tumhare paas toh tumhari family hai, par mere paas kuch nahi hai. Meri maa ek bahut matlabi aur rude aurat hai. Unhein Apne sivaaye kisi ki parva nahi hai. Sab auratein ek jaisi Hoti hai. Tum bhi baakiyo jaisi hi ho, matlabi. Sameer Maheshwari ki girlfriend banke popular hona chahti ho na, warna aise Yahaan Aakar, Bina Apne faayde ke, mujhe lecture nahi deti. Koi farak nahi hai hai tummein aur baakiyo mein. Apne kaam se kaam rakho aur jaao yahaan se."
Naina had tears in her eyes by now. She quickly wiped them off and answered back.
"Agar tumhe lagta hai ki main tumhari baaki ladkiyo jaisi hoon toh shayad iss rishte ka koi matlab hai hi nahi. Aur ha, agar tumhe lagta hai ki sirf tumhari life hi mushkil thi toh tum galat ho. Mujhe bhi Apne maa baap ka pyaar nahi Mila. Bas ghar walon ke taane mile hai. Lekin tum yeh sab nahi samajh sakte, kyuki tum samajhna hi nahi chahte. Na mujhe, na apni maa Ko. Main Jaa Rahi hoon, phirse mujhse Milne ki koshish mat karna"
With that, Naina stormed off, leaving a guilty Sameer behind.
