I just loved the scene where Anand gets new stereo for his family.

True Abida. I am getting nostalgia when they show these kind of technological advancements of those times. The way how we borrowed cassettes, fighting with cable tv person when there is any break.
Anand is a wonderful person who can understand the wishes of his family very well. He never tries to enforce his wishes on to the kids. Instead he is always trying to bring happiness and smile to their lives. But he is strict where he has to. He is a good example of an ideal parent.

U observed really a good thing. Anand was always ahead to time .I love d fact that being a middle class man he balances money so well regarding house expenses, naina preeti education n FD for both of them,takes care of rakesh arjun n tauji family whenever needed n

So true, these small things remind us how simple the life was in 90s. It was so easy to make your family happy. How much valuable each and everything was..

After this much expenses normal middle cls man will think about his worries in office whole day but anand even thinks about his wife ,kids happiness n always acknowledges their efforts which most of men don't do.He knows that becoz of tauji taiji stricktness bela n his kids dont get much freedom to go out n live according to their wish thats why he tries to make them happy with TV VCR cable n outings to law garden so that they can live some life

Usually men don't acknowledge his wife's hardwork at house but he does.These type of men will br termed as mahan but CVS proved that he is also human with 2 instances when he asked bela to leave house n when he tried naina to marry sharad out of anger

I agree with you Haritha especially the last line. Is that the beauty of our show. None of the including leads are perfect here. They have both ups and downs in their character growth. This tells us that it is human to make mistakes.

and don't forget the most useful technological changed in the house for samaina...the wireless telephone.
