Please friends...though I love our show YUDKBH, I don't get much time to write in the forums though would love to. I am here looking for positivity, please the makers can't play with our feelings the way they have done after the Delhi episodes...even after that we were ready to forget that Delhi phase once Sameer and Naina came together. It was a jolt out of the blue when Naina all of a sudden gave up on Sameer for the sake of her family after the Arjun episode. But even after that we could give her benefit of doubt as Sameer too did the same after Dadi told him he was manhoos.

Even after that I tried to pacify myself when she told let us be friends and after she broke up with Sharad was happy that this friendship and caring for each other would bring them together once again.
But why did the makers last week once again show Sameer proposing to Naina only to be rejected outright and keep telling humare beech sab khatam...humari sabsi badi galti thi...pleaaase Naina did not just break Sameer's heart but the whole fandom's heart too...oh how it pricked our ears badly to hear those words...if just the next episode they wanted to show Chachaji agreeing to this relationship why did the makers bring that nonsense unwanted episode of Sameer proposing only to be rejected badly...why why...oh please. The least they could show was Naina and Sameer having a heart to heart talk.

Surprisingly after Chachaji agrees and all throughout I had a soft corner for Naina suddenly after the episode my heart went out to Sameer...I really cannot fathom him having the same love and same feelings for Naina after what she did...oh please I don't want to feel that way and still want to enjoy their lovestory but where has the love gone... the innocent, pure love Naina had for her Sameer during School days..it should become stronger but...

Always loved the voiceover's positive narration they gave us hope that afterall in the future they would be together...but last week's narration just laughing over the incidents like it was a child's play was a letdown.

Love both Ashi and Randeep for their outstanding performance but why CVs are playing with our feelings.

Sorry friends please give me positive vibes. I don't want to give up on our most favorite show.
😭 😳

Lovely post and I totally agree with your thoughts.

I have been so attached to the characters of Sameer and Naina since the very first episode, and Naina is the character that I have always identified with the most. Even when she left Sameer for her family, I still sympathized with her. She was so traumatized at that point, and she made a bad decision. Sameer of course didn't deserve such a painful heartbreak, but Naina, in my opinion, was just as miserable. Her family and their continuous taunts, setting her up with such a pathetic guy - and that whole time, she was trying to forget Sameer, push him out of her mind. I felt CV's did a decent job in showing her turmoil until that point.

However, the episode where Sameer proposed to her again was indeed heartbreaking for me, and it was definitely unnecessary to the script. The first time Naina used those words "sab kuch khatam etc., during that canteen confrontation, it was clear that she wanted to use harsh words so that Sameer would also move on and forget her. But I couldn't handle hearing those same words again, along with "Hamara pyaar galat tha because at this point, it had been a long time since their breakup, and she had even suggested they be friends. She had wanted to cherish those memories of their love in her heart, so I couldn't help but get upset at her insensitivity at this point. I really wished she would have toned down her words and not broken Sameer's heart all over again like that - it was painful to watch.

Granted, she did tell her friends right after that how she can't keep giving pain to Sameer, but as a viewer, I needed to see her say that to Sameer directly. After Chachaji's approval, I wanted Naina to take a moment and acknowledge all the pain that Sameer and her went through, and I very much yearned to see a scene where she soothes and heals him with her words and just takes all the hurt away. In fact, she needed to be soothed herself, as she went through a lot herself, and that is why so many of us were expecting a heartfelt convo between the two.

But CV's broke my heart yet again by showing Naina in a completely different light in Friday's episode - this was not the Naina I fell in love with, and I was and still am confused as to what the writers were trying to portray with regards to her character. Like you said, the love should get stronger, and the character should grow, but instead, it was like going ten steps backward. This is just my opinion.

My only hope is that we will get the kind of scenes that we are craving for her in this next week, and we get a better written Naina. CV's have made me feel disconnected to her character for the first time - I really wish that i get that back!

Thanks for replying and I so agree with what you said...why did they make Naina say humara pyaar galat tha...that hit us badly...oh why was such a faltu dialogue given to her..and that proposing was not at all required...instead they could have concentrated on the elections if at all they wanted to stretch one episode.

Yes after Chacaji accepted their relationship a heart to heart talk was very much required. how I long to see the same love once again...Please CVs show us Naina and Sameer having a heart to heart conversation before just getting into the election mode. 😕 that is all we are asking for. Sameer needs to be won over by Naina...she has to earn him once again and not just be given as a charity by someone 3rd person.

Neha im on the same boatt... 😆...i still DONT understand the khichdi the Cvs cooked here when everything was clear cut straight ...They were no need for last moment masalas of Sams proposal or munnas promise or even the LAME suicide bakwaas ...The story of breakup was perfect n the BUILD UP to it was impactful...the emotions were hearttouching but at the end wat was served ...im still shockeddd with the way they ended tis track with no proper addressal or justification ...!!😆😆..EVEN the suicide drama was picturized N TERMED as a joke cos THE AFTERMATH n WHIRLPOOL of tis STUNT will be DISTURBING, HOUNDING..NERVE WRECKING...TRUST me i wished Sam to tke her FIRST CLASSS THRASHING..🤢.The first convo between Samaina on friday was the real deal n i luved it how Sam conversed...tats the heart to heart convo n from there it should have flowed easily between them...No need for xtra nonsense ... 😆Even if the lovers had a tiff an argument or clashed on their ideologies...i wouldnt had mind...cos its between loversss ...Let them pull their hair or give gaalis to each other😆😆 but they would talk ...release their frustrations n pent up emotions for hurting one another...Tats how couple interact n communicate!!..Thy needed to deal that among themselves...i so wished they continued talking then n THERE at their hearts content...By bringing suicide on was more insensitive , dominant n making that person hear u out by hook or by crook...!It effingly was POTRAYED N LUKED like tat when the intention of jumping was also half cooked...Emotional manipulation !!! i wont support or justify tis n will never watever n however the situations one is in...!!Lack of regret, empathy on her part jus toppled the Gal for me...Seriously!!

I hve always been in awe of Naina from day 1 n we all identify , relate with her cos in each of us there lives THIS GAL ...n When i had been seeing how she has been presented during the last week...im unable to connect to her mindset or to her feelings...TIS STUNT of her defeated the core characterstics of WHAT n HOW SHE IS ACTUALLY !!!!infact im alarmed at my own state , aftr 260 epsdes or so...tis is the FIRST TIME im completely disheartened with my show...i felt much more worse than the ghanta ghantiii n trust me im trying ways to blacken out this epsde from my system😆...

Yeah totally agreed...the two scenes I don't like much
Naina doing suicidal drama and Naina refused sameer proposal by saying harsh words .

They both need to have proper conversation but seriously naina behaving like so normal was so disheartening to watch .
I still have hope form the show so waiting for their proper conversation

I agre with your post and I am not able to come out of it...This is not the Naina I felt in love with and I am not convince with her decisions and actions
Sorry for stating this but I somehow fill in this track CV's didnot do justice to Ashi/Naina...her character was completely ruin...there were no proper dialogues ...no clear thought process which can connect to viewers

But itwas different for RD/Sameer...I was easily convince with hisactions, dialogues and I felt attached...be it Sunaina...he made it clear and stopped playing with her emotions...Sameer & Chachaji conversation were perfect

They didnt maintain a balance between Characters of Sameer and Naina...I dont know why and I am not ok with it

This track was really beautiful but CV's messed it badly and for me i t was totaly illogical

PLEASE NOTE I AM SAMAINA FAN AND NOT SAMEER OR NAINA

Bold - glad that you brought this up.

It it not just during the breakup phase, but right from the bet phase, they have shown Sameer as a much deeper person. Though in his initial introduction he was shown flamboyant, but his deeper personality started getting revealed with his poem in Mt Abu.

I feel (purely my POV), whether it is a monologues, dialogues, convos, there are so many instances where they have shown that he is much deep thinking person, much more empathetic - maybe cos his life's experience, what he has gone through with relationships is much more than Naina --- writers have handled his character growth well. He has been dealing with real life tragic circumstances beginning with his mother abandoning him, Nanu leaving him or being emotionally manipulated by people like Dadid - people who are supposed to help him emotionally. I am not comparing Naina and Sameer - but just trying to analyse how events in their lives are shaping their personalities.
Lots of instances where we see a deeper Sameer - During the bet phase, his convos with Mundit on how cannot play with emotions of an innnocent girl. Then, the monologue with the sweater, post the bet revelation all his actions, convo with Nanu, trying to set right their relationship, and in that process rectifying his biggest mistake. During the Delhi phase, I felt that his letters were much more emotional, deeper than Naina's. It is not because he is a poet, but unless one feels/experiences or the person is real such thoughts are not reflected in actions. Ofcourse, everyone knows Sameer's actions during this breakup phase.

With Naina, her school phase was a happy where harsh realities of life did not hit her.. Delhi separation too she could manage. But, what has happened now is something very very real and she did not know how to deal with it. Nor, was there anyone in her family with whom she could share or guide her. Now, with Chachaji becoming her support system, I feel that writers will startbdelving deep into her inner personality, her emotional growth. It may start now or during the final yr of college or after that when Samaina's relationship will get revealed to the senior Agarwals and Maheshwaris. Until then we have to wait. How she stands by Sameer, her strength of character that we want to see..

For me and most of us we have lived with this characters...for me Sameer and Naina were so much a part of us ...a part of our life...that is the reason for the first 6 months of the show I deliberately did not want to check the forums and any social media news related to the actors playing it...for me they were always Sameer and Naina...only later I checked their names and loved their maturity and persona offscreen too but still wanted to keep only Sameer and Naina in my mind...I was so attached to Naina...someone like us...so real...🤗
But what did we watch last week...really really felt let down ...I wonder have they changed the writer and why these half cooked masala they dished out to us.😔
Just adore Ashi and Randeep for their brilliant acting.👍🏼

And please as if college is only meant for matarghasti.😆..as if parr nikhal aaye hain sabi ke...they are less in classes and more in studio made Red Rose cafe😕..if they are no stories they can check in the forums to get ideas 😉.

Thank you for making this post
It's like the thread and the replies here are what most of us ardent fans feel

CVs should visit the forum often to get audience reviews...and also ideas to proceed further

I very much agree with the 3-4 things that have ruined everything for us
