I am more of a reader than a responder. I pretty much thought this would be another post condemning the CVs, characterizations and how everything is going down the drain with the current scenario.
The biggest winner for this show is its Cast from a year ago. The protagonists have definitely grown into their characters & totally in tune with the emotions - hook, line and sinker
I would have even agreed with the majority during the "Delhi & "Manhoos phase becoz the creative liberty derailed big time during that phase.
After that they learnt their lesson, things started falling into place slow and steady. In fact the characters finally are back in sync exactly the way they were introduced a year ago.
Naina Simple, sweet and loveable but when it comes to her family she is absolutely biased and they take precedence over anyone including her best friends in spite of being aware that her family members are at fault - one of the finest example hiding her brother's paper stealing (I can never forget it), not being able to speak for her "so called best friend Shefali and go against her coward brother and of course finally deciding to let go of Sameer
o Was mighty impressed with her it takes courage to do the right thing! Even if it was little too late and she was true to her characterization she became selfish when it came to her own family and became selfless when it came to Sameer. This might be contrary to many of the opinions out there, I have always felt Naina needed Sameer more than he needed her. As she knew subconsciously no one could love her more unconditionally than him. So she let him go as she genuinely was scared out of her wits of hurting him even though she exactly did that when she let him go.
o So Naina is just a normal desi girl who is imperfect and family has always taken precedence over everyone and everything!
Sameer Impulsive, a true friend and hopelessly in love with a girl whose imperfectly perfect for him she in fact taught him how not to give up and he learnt his lesson so well he is now fighting a war for both of them to show her they both can win if they are together hasn't that been his argument right from the beginning of this breakup phase?
I just happened to watch the episode and I was surprised by the outrage that was expressed in SM sites I couldn't relate to the hoopla in fact the protagonists remained true to their characterization & I am absolutely enjoying this phase as finally CVs are tightening the rein & taking us to the next destination of this beautiful journey of togetherness. It is a daily soap I prefer it to be imperfectly perfect and for once this production house has surprised me with this offer as my interest wanes off after the first 50 episodes let alone 250!
Thanks for opening the "Suffocation thread I was pleasantly surprised by the content and decided to pen down my two cents! Might be one of the few who is thoroughly going to enjoy the next phase amidst the nay-sayers.
