Yes I understand its the 1990s where the hands used to be used freely by family members.. and I don't support that but yes it was very common.. but Sharad raising a hand on Naina...what was that and why???
they could have just shown a hand gesture going close to her cheek... instead of a full blown slap... how can they show that??

why are they promoting this?? family members think its their right to hit Naina... now Sharad is doing the same thing...bcoz he thinks she her property...but why show CVs are showing it ??? in the name of reality of life??? is this justified?? there are younger generation watching this and getting inspired...

Is naina's character a punching bag for all??

Munna Pandit tell us anything and walks away... Kamya says anything and walks away.. Sunaina says anything and gets to walk away...family members of course keep doing that all the time...

why? such a strong character they started have ended up being this??

and now the spoiler pic is Naina trying to commit suicide?? why is this show promoting these?

I am sorry am I the only one feeling this??

Hi!
Women abuse is a very bitter truth of the society and it does exist even in 2018. It is totally unacceptable in any era. It does happen in real.

This show is not promoting it, it just showed that such assholes existed. Sam took care of it as I read in the update. It is yet to be telecasted here.

This is a story indpired by a real life couple. Let us sit back and enjoy it. Please do not tKe it in the way that I enjoyed the scene or advocate it. I just want to say it happened in some ones life. Had they been promoting it they would not have shown Sam bashing him.

I agree..they are not showing wedding and stretching things to reach legal age while child marriage is still a reality in India and I appreciate CVS for this but showing so much physical abuse isn't that illegal as well? They are contradicting themselves by showing the abuse..I cant watch the episodes when my child is awake as this is illegal in the UK..but isn't this showing the wrong things? I don't support this abuse..this should stop like now!

Alright. This is not our story but girls in middle class families in the 80s, 90s and in some cases even today in India go through this. They get slapped by their parents when unmarried and if they get married to an asshole who treats them like a piece of friggin furniture, this continues.
Its a show depicting a girl belonging to a family with similar mindset. So lets sit back and watch the drama unfold.

When will people learn to treat fiction as fiction. If u find any scene disturbing u can chose to not watch. Being a 90s kid, my mom or dad never slapped me but a lot of my friends always got slapped for sillier reasons thN naina . Not saying it is acceptable but even men get abused.
So stop making it a feminazi thing. I know more male abuse cases than that of females. And i have counseled a lot of teen boys in the school i worked in.

Even today in 2018 we know many parents who hit/slap their kids, and gender doesn't matter.

It Is more common in india becasue parents keep the ultimate control on the kids. In the West it is not as common due to fear of the law. Otherwise they are the same every where.

They're not promoting women abuse!
Try n understand that for God's sake!

Naina is a strong character but she isn't the one to go against her family or friends just for slapping her, we know this since the beginning of the show. This is how Naina's character was and still is. Accepting or not accepting it is up to you.
