As far as I remember Sameer and Naina had settled on the 2 ring sign while conversing on the phone that too in the bet phas(meaning he wouldn't write "tumhara aur surf tumhara sameer)then when did Sameer write a letter that Chachaji found out?

Not a blooper dear.

Sameer was reminding her of theie signal because long distance relationship was new foe them when he went to delhi

Yes I also felt that to be a blooper... the 2 sign signal was long established... I dont think we have even witnessed this letter before.. it almost felt like it had to be created to make him see the truth.. I wish he would pause there and read other letters to see the complete picture today...and then go to college and hear the story after the delhi track from the gals discussing it...

It is a blopper as Naina used to call Sam on Amrita's phone. Then this letter has no meaning at all. They should have shown the letters where Sameer's love for Naina was very evident and as much as I remember their letters used to be really beautiful and touching.

Exactly she used to call on Amrita's number and they already knew about the signal till then! Maybe tfamily members always witnessed 2 rings so they made up this letter!
