Don't you guys think they've changed naina's character ever since they introduced separation track as if for the sake of the track.

Her "family over you dialogue to Sameer during confrontation felt so out of character. When all this time they had shown how much Sameer meant to her which is why she has always been sneaking out to meet him or did things for him despite being in a conservative family. Just recently during bday ep she told him he meant the world to her, no one loved her like he does, even after manhoos track ended she said the same during phone call. For someone who has been shown so in love with Sameer that she'd do so many 1st for him (pre-bet phase) or participate in dance competition, so she could travel to delhi just to meet him or be so confident about her relationship that no matter what the world assumed about Sameer's love fading (delhi phase), she would not believe it or change her mind. Why so much changes suddenly?

I remember one scene after she sent sorry cake & samaina have a conversation near the water area, she said something like "i cant do something wrong that will harm her family's reputation so Sameer said "then in that case, we cant even be friends but she replied "haan lekin mera dil nahin maanta. That for me always defined naina. She has always followed her heart. For someone who was always shown determined about loving Sameer despite being in conservative family, why is she shown totally opposite, borderline heartless now?

Ok I get it, she went through a traumatic night, from car being broken to police station to seeing all the attempted suicide drama at home took a toll on her self esteem which resulted in believing shefali's words about breaking up with Sameer & ended up taking an impulsive decision. I understand this part well cos its very believable.

But normally ppl start to think over their rash decision few days or weeks later. But in the show, they've shown naina is determined about being separate from Sameer no matter what & its been months & still no change in decision, no second thoughts? This definitely does not seem believable if it were to happen in real life, especially for someone who's been in a relationship for 3yrs & so deeply in love with the guy.

Why is naina's character being changed for the sake of introducing a topic (caste system) of 90s which was non-existent in the show before.

Naina always got limited love from their family members.Chachaji is d only person who encouraged her in every aspect,he tries understand her problems but she is not first priority to him but he tries to make her happy with his knowledge about her. Chacha ji care for Nana is bounded by taiji n tauji by sanskari pressures. He consoles when naina gets slapped or humiliated but never stops humiliation, slaps done by taiji n SS under d pretext of "bade hamare liye karte hai "

When she met Sam she was very much attracted to him for his looks but after d paper stealing fake issue she tried to maintain distance with him. When she got to know he was not fault she was back to her attraction mode but when he was trying to kiss her some where she lost respect for him n after she got to know about Sam rejecting kamya (beautiful girl) her heart filled with so much respect for him. When Sam prepared her for debate n made others to listen her speach that made her fall for him badly n deeply n starred ito see him like Chachaji. At this point for her both Chachaji n Sam where equal n that made her to do more things for Sam during bet phrase but after knowing about bet she was completely broken n shattered. What all Sam did for her Shaadi is something which none done for her n after that phrase she was completely lost in only Sam n that made her to wait for him till he returns from delhi n make him out from manhoos track. After shadi track she was least about her family n she lost in Sam so much that she stopped acknowledging Chacha chachi efforts for higher studies n many little things but after shefjun khand n SS suicide attempt she got know the value of Chacha Chachi So she wanted to breakup with Sam .
Even in real life it happen "jab cheez haat mein hota hai tab tak usse khonki dhar nehi hota " the moment she was scared about loosing Chachaji she realized his importance in her life but She isn't realizing that for her heart Chacha n Sam r equal n she can't live without both of them

I don't think her characterization has changed...
It is a difficult choice for anyone at any age to choose one out of 2 people you love the most. I don't think it is an impulsive decision for Naina. I agree she should have not taken any decision alone but I think she must have thought that Sameer will never agree to it and hence she took a decision alone.

It is immature decision but not out of character.

Do not know the reason why writers have introduced Maheshwari - Agarwal angle now. Maybe they want the show to be as realistic as possible and that there are no other reasons that can be showstoppers for Samaina.

This maybe out of place: even before this entire fiasco, there are certain incidents am afraid that Naina should have shared with Sameer. Especially, the paper stealing truth. Now, why she did not disclose it to Sameer has always made me curious. At that time, did she think that she will lose Sameer's love and respect or her immediate family (father and brother) would be put to shame? Their sanskaars questoned. What would be reasons for her to hide the truth. 😕

Until now, Naina has been kind of living in a dream land. Now, it is a very hard landing on real ground. At any age, it is when real challenges hit you, that ones' convictions, strength of character comes into play. An 18 yr old like Naina with very less life's experience, so much of pressure, inner struggle and fear of losing loved ones can such take such a decision and do not think it is out of character.

Empathize with her at the moment. She has such an overwhelming sense of obligation towards chacha and chachaji and people around especially Taiji do not have any qualms in exploiting the gratitude she has for them.
