All the songs played on them have become extra special.. But most of these 90/80s songs were already in my fav play list but one track I was never interested in has become one of my fav only becouse os Samaina.it was the song played on them during confession 'main saula baras ki tu satra baras ka' its as if that song was made for them so perfectly fit Samaina.

I agree with all of you. Samaina has added a special touch to all songs picturised on them. And now a days I like Samaina version than original one.
Sathiya tune kya kiya is my all time favorite but after watching Samaina version I feel like even Salman and Revathy was not able to get that chemistry like Samaina.

Ross very interesting post and observation.. let me tell you I am not a fan of hindi movies (bollywood) and specially not before 2003 ... Coz movies in 90's were more dramatic ..And then came Govinda's era with some double meaning comedy and after that all gangsters and action movie... Some songs were quite good ...But I can't say I liked them...
So my first attraction to this show was when my hubby started watching it and he asked me watch it too... The songs were the first attraction for me... Trust me ...In my 6000 song playlist I never had hindi songs ( old and before 2003 )...And now I have all the YUDKBH songs which I play continuously on loop ...I could name each song since episode 1 to till date... And I will never see any songs without imaging samaina...For me.they define hindi songs along with 90's...

Gajab ka hai din (naina intro).. dil dewana (twirl) ..Mere rang me(snrakshit) ..Badal kyu garajta hai .. chandani ... Kuch ho gaya .. kya yahi pyar hai ..Tumse mil ke.. tu rootha to mai... Kaisa tera pyar... Kuch ho gaya.. kal dil dukhaya tha (coke scene) ...May se meena se( ILU and College dream) .. saasu teerath ...Jijaji... Chudi maza na degi ... Mohabat jinhe ho gayi ho kisi se(mt.abu +college admission) ... O meri jaan ab nahi rehna ( mt.abu back hug )... Mausam pyar ka (first touch , house party) ... Tere naina .. jab koi baat bigad jaye .. sathiya ye tune kya kiya (delhi dream) ..So gaya ye jaha ( sameer stays outside naina's home ) ... .. Apka khat mila ... Ab tere bin jee lenge hum( promo songs ) ... aa meri jaan ... Ab chahe sir phute ya matha ...Zindagi ek safar ( bike ride) ...dil kyu dhadakta hai ...Ek mai aur ek tu(car drive) ...Mujhe neend na aaye

Sanam mere sanam ( swing romance) the most sensuous screen presence... Dhak Dhak..

So for me almost all the songs in the show defines Samajna permanently...

Most songs might nt b effective in movie picturization but v sd appreciate that since these classic songs & iconic music was created, it cd b used on Samaina who gave a personal unique touch & took it to another level for all generations to appreciate!

For me too saathiya was simply outstanding
They just took it to another level with their expressions

I also enjoyed the fresher's party songs ...

I completely agree Ross... all the songs pictured on Samaina are done in a unique manner...
To me the best was Saathiya 👏 (even though I like the original as well)...

I like Samaina's 'Aapke aa jane se...' 😳

Naina's sangeet dance... Keh do ke tum ho meri warna... and Kahin na jaa...

Also all the MPK songs so far... and the freshers Qawalli

Gazab ka hai din... Ae mere humsafar... (the originals in QSQT were also good)

Pehla nasha 😳 ... Chandini raat hai...

Tu solah baras ki... Dekho main dekha hai yeh ek sapna...

Now, we will get some sad, intense songs... looking forward to those. ... all the songs pictured on Samaina have this sweet, simple, innocent feel to it... very endearing...

Ross, thanks for the beautiful thread. ⭐️

Agree with the posts here. For me, Samaina have redefined the 90s songs that they have played in this show. Associate most of the songs with them now..

This particular one will stay in my memory for a long long time. Mt Abu - AAte jaate - haan Maine pyaar kiya - stanza being played on a Sameer who is so overwhelmed with Naina's concern and love that subsconsciouly he became teary eyed.. Sheer brilliance 👏

Bin tere sanam..Naina remembering Sameer near the school tap and then the lovely picturisation!!

Wow.. This is impressive..Do you have a list of all songs played on them somewhere saved online? I would love it to add it to my collection.. I have been listening to songs since I was a toddler given my dad is fond of music. But all the songs played on them have such a beautiful impact that I have kinda forgotten how original looked like.. Samaina and songs played on them are USP of the show..

@bold...Curious Case of Asmita.😉

I agree with Beena, that is very impressive. You have a list and quite a good memory, I forget such minute details of show.😳

There were few songs I had never heard before like O yaara, mausam pyar ka but after those were played on Samaina, I am addicted to these songs too.

But here I wanted to point out that when the original song is not so good to watch but Samaina made it beautiful to watch.

Saathiya tune kya kiya is really good.. MPK songs are iconic and its very difficult to see anyone else except Salman Bhagyashree in those songs. But Samaina have overtaken that place. Dil Diwana and Maine pyar kiya picturization are amazing and better than the original. Another one is Jinke Aage Ji Jinke Phiche Ji and Kuch Ho Gaya ha ho gaya.. Actually cant recall many songs but which can be added to the list..
