He is spineless...its his character...Naina is also raised in the same family...if you remember the Mt. Abu track , when she saw Sameer getting beaten by her dad , she was about to tell the truth, its Sameer who stopped her...yesterday again when she saw Sameer being questioned by Police she gave her number...and if you take Sameer , he stood up for Naina...so its not just about up bringing , its abt people and their character...Arjun doesn't have it in him...people like him its best to go for arranged marriage...To fall in love to get married with parents approval requires a lot of guts and you will need to go thru a lot...especially you have face people who brought you up and its not easy...
