The description of your summer morning was just so perfect... it brought to life the setting so beautifully. I could feel the loo.. the brief respite that the earth experienced while the vehicles were washed.. the colourful burst of Gulmohar and bougainvillea, the taste of rooafsha.. I was very impatient to get to the part where I could know what was happening with the characters and still did not skim over these details.. they registered rather vividly.

I'm so happy you felt the summer morning come to life with the description I provided. 😳

When we read a book it's easier for the reader to take in all the details knowing the storyline is unfolding at the speed their fingers can flip a page. Whereas while reading a FF, we have to wait for a while to get an update during which times we have to deal with an overactive imagination at times 😆 Hence I think it must be a huge challenge to the writers to write such descriptive pieces and still hold the readers attention. Very well done Sur!

I loved how you have covered his transformation over the last few years from all angles professional as well as personal in just one update! Everything required for the reader to understand his mindset and behaviour is there.. but you have not stretched it unnecessarily.
Correct dear- as it is, I make you guys wait so long for updates. And then, if it was a book, where you have access to the upcoming story as you wrote above, it is still easier, but then with FFs like these, I didn't want to stretch it more than it is now. I'm glad you agree to my thought process!
His emotional upheaval during Munna and Swati's wedding... and the ensuing unsatisfactory sexual adventures. Finally focusing on the business and making a success out of it.. all of it has my heart. Bringing in the reference to HDDCS was pure gold!
Haha- somehow I was searching for a movie released in June of 99..n I stumbled upon this piece. And very uncannily, it so relates to the plot of this story. And the name of the protagonist is also Sameer! I could not just help but include it! 😃 And yes, Sameer has stumbled back towards Naina, towards depression, but slowly n steadily, he picked himself up. He picked up many of his vices again and then stopped some, and with others, he tried to gain control over his life.

Hmmm.. so now coming to Mrs Reena Mittal.. If only I had you! The feelings are mutual... can't wait for their confrontation. And I mean it.. seriously can't wait now! So please please don't take too long!
