Yep, you read it right! I kinda liked tonight's episode. Are you wondering if I've gone bat shit crazy with all the hit & misses and the intense tracks in the show?

Has Dadi got to my head too? Nahi, nahi!

Na hi main Sameer ki Soch hun aur na hi koi naya villain! 😆
Aur mujhe kisine paise bhi nahi khilaye!

Tonight's episode made me contemplate what I'd like to watch next in the show as a viewer. It's been a drag fest, no doubt! But, I think I don't want Sameer and Naina to meet anymore. Until last week, I was kinda fed up with the sob fest. I wanted SamAina to meet and chat, cry and laugh just like ya'll!

But with tonight's episode, I don't want them to do all of that anymore. I'm sure most of you are baffled with my statement and might wanna direct your anda tamatars at me! The pre-cap promised us nothing but more tears either.

But here's what I think! If Sameer and Naina kept meeting each other in person every month or two, their letters kept'em connected over a very long distance relationship, it'd have been way too cool and normal. And when they'd have finally re-united whenever that might be, I'd have been extremely delighted but a part of me would say, yeah, big deal! They were sorta together anyway through letters, phone calls and visits all through these years.

However, Sam's stupidity will give way to a whole new track! Obviously Naina won't give up so soon but someday, she'd realize that Sameer is ignoring her deliberately. It's no more just a hit and miss. He's made new friends in Delhi, has a new life and has moved on. Which will infuriate her, hurt her and urge her to get mad at him and break-up with him. Well, in her head. 🤪

And I'd love for them to meet in college again in their own special way. Almost running into each other and the very famous, signature Samaina, going around each other !😳😳

Obviously Naina wouldn't be pleased this time. And hopefully, Sam would have realized how stupid he was to fall for Dadi's bakwas logic! And we'd see the chase and make up again. 😆

This is when I'd be ecstatic, not just plain happy for them!

This will also give Taiji a chance to realize that Naina ka koi chakkar nahi. Things will settle down before SamAina make up and the impending doom in the form of how'd their families react will get delayed. We might just see a lot of good college time before that happens.

Or maybe the writers have something completely different up their sleeves. May be this track might not last that long and Sameer would have the epic epiphany of Dadi's planning and plotting much earlier. But either way, SamAina's make- up would be adorable.

I wouldn't blame Sameer though. He's a kid who can be brainwashed easily, especially using his loved ones to manipulate him. I can't even begin to imagine the anguish and the agony he must be going through thinking he's to be blamed for his family's problems while distancing the only good thing going on in his life, Naina. He's being emotionally abused and anybody in his place or age would have reacted the same way.

So yes, I don't want them to meet anymore. I'm finally getting around the idea that all of this intense drama might build up to some really awesome SamAina moments. And even if all these dreamy ideas were not to see the light of the day, I still don't wanna see them meet now. Cuz I'm done! I'm absolutely done with the hit & misses and the constant speculation over their union. I'm done thinking if today, tomorrow, this week, next week or the next month would finally be when things restore to normalcy.

So when I'm done expecting any change in the situation, I'll just accept whatever it is that is being handed over to us on the plate.

What do you guys think? Have you come up with your own versions of this conjecture? Are you still positive about this show with occasional bouts of venting out about the current situation? I'd be eager to read your versions.

PS - I'm hoping I wouldn't be checked into an asylum after this post. I have not been traumatized. Neither am I delusional. Good things are awaiting us on the other end.

PPS - The best is yet to come, eh!😆

Bingo! 👏

I din't really like the snail paced execution of the episode but I don't quite find Sam's situation unrelatable. These are probably not thoughts that Dadi instilled in him. Deep within Sameer always had a thing that he isn't meant to be loved, or that he probably is unlucky with love. Dadi's words were more of a reminder! And in this case toh the subject was his most favourite person. When it comes to a sensitive topic like death, it's natural for people to stop accepting things as mere coincidences and start believing in superstitions too.

Again, I too am yearning for a separation track. Not the present kinda one where they're merely physically separated. A break up sort actually, main reason being avoiding story stagnation. Personally I'm someone who feels Sam's realisation of love at hospital ( not falling in love, but realisation) itself was kinda early. I would have loved it a lot more if he'd actually got the time to feel the difference that Naina's indifference at school was making to his life. That's a thing long gone anyway.

But like you said, what exactly have we got to look forward to if it's all fine between them at a personal level. Even if Naina and Sameer had joined two different cities for higher education, this would have been the scenario. Hence I don't find this long distance thing sad enough to make the ultimate reunion cherishable.

With a separation, we would get to see another lap of their love. The show has already had two in fact, and they were beautiful too- the one before bet revelation and the one post that. The story moves forward only if there is a dynamic equation between the protagonists. We've already seen how other challenges (like family, distance ) etc get boring over time.

When Sam was shown getting into bad company, I had thought that it was a move towards a separation. However they wrapped it up in no time, practically serving no purpose other than just dragging. I get a feeling they might do the same here too!

I loved tonights episode too. Sometimes the thoughts do get to us, like when one of my kid was sick I gave up eating chicken..sounds weird na. But we do make all those promises and sacrifies..
Eventually he will realize and manofy Naina..just like the post Mt. Abu trip. I loved that part of paschyatap..repent and realizing is something powerful. Sameer needs to grow and mature.

NIce analysis of a well debated epi 😊
Am just going through various threads in the forum and liking the range of reactions that have come in 👍🏼 - if the episodes do not elicit any kind of reactions, then the writers should be a worried lot..

Liked the episode for it has now tread a path of exploring the psyche of a 18 yrd old who is successfully brain washed.. The confident full of swag Sameer Maheshwari is now become a victim of self doubt.. how he is going to handle himself -- will be interesting to see -- and how long he is going to keep running from the relationships that have become his sustenance..

and the exciting part is that the lead actors are doing justice to the vision that writers have set for the characters 👏

I agree with you. Dadi didn't brainwash Sameer. These are thoughts that he has been running through his head. By coincidence I was watching one of the episodes after the bet revelation , the one where Vishaka says Sameer is allergic to love . He immediately starts thinking on those lines. Sameer doesn't have enough confidence in the relationships he has. I think this track will make him understand that he has to have enough confidence in the relationships that he develops and that he has to show commitment to that as well.

Also , I don't want Naina to give in easily this time once Sameer finally comes to his senses. :D
I just want to see the antics that Sameer comes up with to console her.
