Episode 06

12th September, 2017

Sameer leaves the boy and passes by Naina with attitude. Naina in her lala land goes to class, writes a romantic doha on blackboard and sits in her seat. All students shocked to see what she wrote. What she wrote meant

"Despite reading several books, no one became wise.

One who understands love, is acclaimed as a scholar."

Boys laugh at the doha. Swati calls her, but she is lost in dreamland. Swati again calls and asks why she wrote that on board. Naina can't answer, she didn't know when she wrote that. She too is puzzled.

VO

"Kabirjee ka yeh doha toh bachpan se bohot baar padha tha, par uss din achanak manine kiyu likha, aur kaise yaad aya, mujhe nehi pata."

She just remembers her collision with Sammer and somehow tells to swati that she learnt it from book and thus she wrote. Swati does not say anymore after that.

Teacher comes in the class and give math task to solve. They become busy with math solution. At that time Sameer enters classroom. All girls charmed by his look while Naina is busy solving her math. Shanti teacher reads his letter and says to all,

"Aj se hamari kakshamei ek nayi vidyarthi padhenge. Aur woh hai Sameer Maheshwari."

Right then Naina finishes math and stands up raising her hand says to Shanti teacher,

"Mujhe mil gaya jawab." She looks up and sees Sameer standing in front and again gets lost in him.

VO,

"Abhi abhi usse bhulakar ganit mei maan lagaya, aur woh toh meri hi class mei aa gaya!"

She stares at him dreamily, when he takes his sit. Teacher praises her for solving the math first.

Pandit makes fun, "Teacher zindagi mei problem mile toh guide mile na mile, Naina toh mil hi jayegi na!"

All laugh.

There the principal decides that he has to choose a head monitor for school discipline. He comes with other teachers to Naina's class and declares her as head monitor. Naina feels proud.

Munna says in a low voice to Sameer about Naina,

"Adarsh toh hogi hi na, teachers ki khaas hai. Pata nehi kaha se itni dimag layi hai. Sab parhai yehi kar leti hai!"

Principa calls Naina and tells everyone,

"Naina hamari school mei kable parhai likhai mei hi awal nehi hai. Yeh ittar pravati mei bhi aagei hai!"

Pandit says in low voice to Sameer and Munna,

"Ittar pravati, yani hamari chugli karna!"

Principal says,

"Naina ki vinayshil avatar ek misaal hai!"

Pandit says again to Sameer

"Ladko ko jabardasti rakhi jo bandhti hai!"

Sameer laughs at this comment.

Naina is given head monitor badge and she takes the oath with Principal that she will be the head monitor.

"Mei Naina Agarwal, iss jimmedari ka imaandari se palan karungi, dost ho ya rishtedar, inke bich koi bhedvau nehi karungi! Mei Pragati Vidya ka Mandir ki garima banaye rakhungi."

Munna says to Sameer about Naina again,

"Chamchi number one, maniben"

VO- Naina thinking

"School ya class mei meri taarif hona koi pehli baar ki baat nehi thi. Par aj meri dharkanei tej ho gayi thi, kiyuki meri taarif Sameer ki saamne ho rahi thi! Aur sunke woh bhi meetha meetha muskura raha tha. Par hayee uss waqt mujhe kaha pata tha ki woh man hi maan kiyu muskura raha tha!"

After the class Shanti teacher calls Naina

"Yes maa'm"

"Naina, woh jo naya ladka aya hai na, (teacher tries to remember name), uska naam bhul gayi hu mein"

"Sameer" Naina says dreamily giving a glance at him

"Sameer, usse hamari school ki saari niyam aur anushashan samjha dena. Aur haan, recess mei usse apni saari kitabo ki list aur woh saarei kitabein kaha se leni hai woh bhi bata dena."

Naina happily agrees. Now Shanti teacher calls Sameer.

"Sameer, yeh Naina hai. Yeh apko hamari school ki saarei niyam aur anushashan samjha de gi. Aur apko kitabei kaha se leni hai, woh bhi bata degi. Achchi tarah samajh lena. Ok?"

Sameer nods. Shanti teacher leaves.

Giving a look to Naina Sameer too leaves for his seat. Naina thinks,

"Gujrati mei mohavra hai, bhavtu hatutu toh vede phaiyu, matlab jo taste pasand tha, usiki doctor ne dawai khane ko kaha. Yani ki muh mangi cheez mil gayi. Mei Sameer ke karee bane ki bahana dhundh rahi thi, aur teacher ne mujhe woh mauka de diya."

She writes the books names in a chit and gives to Sameer. Sameer reads.

S- Jeev viggya, Rasayan Viggyan, Patthik Viggayn!! Yeh kya koi Sanskrit ka shlok hai!!!

N- Nehi nehi, yeh toh kitabo ki naam hai. Jivviggyan matlab biology, rasayn viggyan matlab

S- ok, ok, I got it. Thanks.

He put the chit in bag carelessly

VO

"Sameer ka alawa aur koi aise padhe bagair list bag mein dal deta, toh meri insult hoti. Par Sameer ki toh har ada mujhe va rahi thi. Insult bhi."

In the next class, principal sir calls Sameer to go with Naina. Pandit says to Sameer

P- Arrey yeh toh tere saath chipak hi gayi hai. Har sir tujhe isike saath hi bhejta.

While following Sameer dreamily Naina sees Sameer's shoe laces are untied. She stops him saying

N- Fitey

S- What is fitey?

N- aa...ooo.. lace

He understood and stopped to tie it. Then a feather falls on her shoulder. She sends a wish blows the feather, it falls on Sameer hand. He too blows it. Naina sees that happily.

In Principal's room the boys complain to Principal that Sameer pushed them and made injured. Sameer denies. Principal asks him to tell the truth otherwise he will cancel Sameer's admission. The boy remembers Naina as witness. He asks Principal to ask Naina as she was the witness.

B- Naina tumne dekha tha na kaise mere piche daur raha tha mujhe marne ke liye!

Sameer looks at her remembers munna's words

"adarsh toh hogi hi na, teacher ki khaas"

Principal sir says, "Naina, saach aur jhooth ka faisla ab tumhara haath mei. Discipline monitor hone ke naatei tum saach bologe."

VO

"Ek 16 saal ke ladki ke liye, isse bada drama ho hi nehi sakta tha. Ek taraf sine pe woh bojh, aur dusri aur sine mei dhak dhak. Yaha discipline monitor ki jimmedari, aur waha Sameer ke liye dil mei jara si narmi. Dil mei stereophonic sound mei do dhara baj rahi thi.Yani ek taraf dil deewana man mei baj raha tha, aur dusri aur, ussi din li gayi shapath, kaano mei gunj rahi thi. Ajeeb kashmakaash thi. Tab toh cricket mei third ampire bhi nehi hota tha. Warna ussi se puch ti. Pehle kahi baar suna ek shabd aj samajh mei aa raha tha. Dharm sankat. Meri ek ek dharkan dharm sankat se dharak rahi thi."

VO

"Kya karu ki kya na karu, yeh soch mei mera dil double speed mei dharak ke overtime kar raha tha! Ek taraf Sameer ki takti hui akhein, aur dusri aur principal ki tej najrei. Aur phir bachpan se hi hum gurudeva, gurubrahma wali prarthna itni bar par chuke thei ki teachers ki saamne jhooth bolna hamare liye paap tha."

Seeing no other way she had to say,

"Ha sir, meine dekha tha, Sameer ne Pankaj ko mara tha."

Sameer gives a glare of angst to Naina.

Princi- Tum log jaa sakte ho, mujhe Sameer se akele mei baat karni hai

VO

"Sameer ko kaise samjhati, ki uss waqt Sameer se jyada mujhe apne ap pe gussa aa raha tha."

After all leaves the room, Principal announces to Sameer that his admission is cancelled as he lied and broke the rule of school on the very first day.

Outside of school while Naina was leaving with cycle, her shoe was stuck in the cycle. Sameer came to help her. Naina was surprised to see him helping her, when she complained about him.

VO

"Joote se jyada uss waqt meri antar atma phasi hui thi dharm sankat mei."

She tries to thank him. But he ignores. His friends asked why he helped. He said,

"Koi bhi ladki hoti toh karta."

At home chacha chacha becomes happy to see Naina as head monitor, so they promises to give her new shoe.

VO

"Par akele hotei hi Sameer ka khayal nange pairo mei kaantei ki tarah chub ne laga. Kya sach much meri wajah se hi uska admission cancel ho gaya!"

They goes to buy shoe. But Naina is not happy for new shoe.

VO

"Khush kaise hoti. Sameer ki shikayat ka khayal, khush hone hi nehi de raha tha."

Sameer too comes to buy shoes. But their shoe boxex get exchanged. Taiji scolds Naina for that. They go the search for shoes again. Sameer sees Taiji scolding Naina for shoe.

"Agar aj joota nehi mila na toh samajh lena kal se nange pair school bhejungi. Phir dekhti hu kaun yeh dilwata hai."

Shoe shop owner says the box got exchanged with Sameer's

VO,

"Toh yeh tha meri love story ka pehla addhay. Joota chaper part one. Part one isliye kiyuki abhi bohot kuch hona baki hai"

Episode 8

VO

"Sach kahoo toh pehla khayal yeh nehi aya ki chalo joote mil gaye, yeh aya ki kya Sameer ne mujhe daant khatei dekha! Saari dunia kuch bhi dekhe fark nehi padhta. Par Sameer ke dekhne se fark padh raha tha. Pata nehi kiyu!"

Sameer gives back her shoe while remembering how she complained about him. Says,

"Sorry, par apna yeh joote sambhal kar rakhna. Nayi joote hai na!"

Naina nods yes dreamily. Sameer leaves.

VO

"Joote lene ka idea chchiji ka tha. Paise taiji ne diye. Par meri liye woh joote Sameer ke haatho mera ek anmol gift ban gaya. Hamesha ke liye. Pehle pyar ka pehla gift. JOOTE..."

Sameer reaches home. He asks Munna

S- Yaar Munna, hamari joote hi kiyu adla badli ho gaye!

M- Arrey, ittefak hai

S- Ittefaq! Nehi...woh isliye hua taki mujheuss chugal khor Naina se badla lene ka formula mil jaye.

M- Badla lene ka formula?

S- Haan. Usne principal se meri chugli kari hai. Aur mujhe school se nikala gaya hai. Mujhe usse badla lene ke liye idea chahiye tha. Jo mujhe mil gaya. Ab bas kuch bhi karke mujhe uske naye joote churane hai.

M- Par naye joote churanei se kya hoga? Uske gharwale naye joote leke de denge.

S- Tune dekha nehi, naye joote adla badly hone par usko kitna sunaya gaya hai.

S- Toh soch jab naye joote khoyenge, toh kya hoga!

M- Woah Sameer! Kya master plan hai! Maan gaya bhai. Plan toh dhasu hai. Par ek problem hai yaar!

S- Problem?

M- Arrey yaar, tumhara admission school se radd ho gaya hai! Toh ab kaise badla lo ge?

S- Tune mujhe dekha nehi. Dekha hai toh jana nehi. Jana hai toh mana nehi. Mujhe pehchana nehi.

M- Gana toh achcha hai bhai. Par idea batao.

S- Dekhta jaa Munna. Sameer ka teer kaise nishane pe lagega.

Next day Naina was waiting in school with the hope that Sameer will come. Sameer came at last. Sameer said to friends that he said to his nanu that he praised about the school too much and Nanu requested to the principal to get Sameer admitted again.

VO

"Sameer ke dobara admission se mei bohot khush tha. Par tab mujhe kya pata tha, ki janab pyar ka devta banke nehi, badle ka danav ban kar aya tha. Mere jootei churana isi badle ka pehla kadam tha."

Sameer tries to take away the shoes of Naina. In this process, his leg touches Naina's. A stunned Naina losts her breath for the moment, when she realized that, Sameer tried to touch her leg, or was it unintentional. She looked at him. He was busy with his notebook.

"Pehli baar kisi ladke ka paao, galti se bhi choo jaane se kya feel hota tha! Rom rom mei 440 volts ka jaise current lag gaya ho! Woh ehsaas, woh naju baat, ajka koi bachcha kabhi nehi samajh payega."

Sameer continues his try to steal the shoes. During the game time he could not. But then again he had a plan. He opened the taps, Naina came to turn the water taps off removing her shoes. Then he stole that.

Naina was tensed to lose her shoes. Preeti said,

"Lagta hai kisike najar lag gaye"

Sameer passed comment while passing her with his friends.

"Bina joote aise chal rahi hai, jaise Meera bai Rajsthan ki raet mei."

His friends laughed with him.

When reached home she got scolding from Taiji. She does not want to eat at the loss of shoes.

VO

"Sach yeh tha, ki joote ghumne ka jyada dukh issliye bhi tha, ki mei usse Sameer ki di hui nishani maan rahi thi. Sameer ki haatho ko chukar aye thei na ye jootei! Kya pata tha, ki khud usss Sameer ne, yeh Saari saajish rachi thi!"
