If we think from Vishakha's point of view, whenever she talks to Rohan he reciprocates her love and concern while Sameer is always bitter. In those days females never took a stand for themselves in front of elders of the family even if they were wrong. Even Naina couldn't take any stand in front of her family for Sameer or herself. I think back in those days very few parents were friends to their children. Most of them thought discipline is most important. Their show of love for children use to be directly propositional to the marks in exams. Not that they didnt love all children same but wont show their affection equally for all. They thought this will motivate kids to study harder to get their affection.So may be Vishakha's thought process is same.

The way he was squeezing water out of the sweater and then rubbing it on the floor ...god!! at that moment it might have been so painful for Sameer to see that ...I am sure we will soon start seeing the Jugadu Sameer...Dhadhi will soon meet her match...but Sameer might fail to win here as his own mom will not support him ...and his mom is his weakness...as I said before ...something has to go wrong that Vishaka will be scared of loosing Sameer ...even today the way she came and sat next to him at night shows her concern for him...the real concern..not like what she shows for Rohan...for Rohan its more of an act that she got used too...But for Sameer its a real mothers concern...I am glad I got to see that today...
