Aww my poor Naina...she is so restless...the only thing on her mind was to see and talk to Sameer...the "kaha gaye" came out so painfully...she knew something was wrong...but didnt want to hear the worse..."shayad kabhi nahin ayenge"...💔...

adjust my foot...Vishaka is so self centered...🤢🤢...she is just bothered about everyone else except Sameer who need her support now more than ever...intro main bhi schedule schedule......the hug...it broke Sameer more...she is treating Sameer worse than a guest..."corner dekhlo"...like seriously a corner?whatever back story she has...it better give some insight on her behavior towards Sameer...

how I just wish Sameer is back with the people who care and love him the most...

Best part of Naina was, she wasn't worried about the separation or anything. All she was desperate was to talk to him and find out how he was handling Nanu's death, mein mar jaungi was just so kya beeta hai Naina ke dil mein.. poor thing baad mein jaaye school and she is waiting sitting on the swing for his phone call wonder what happened to Sameer that he got injured on hisarm, seems like he fell trying to reach the PCO !

The schexule will cause problems obviously thats why so much stressing. Wonder how Sameer will become part of his schedule 😛

Sorry I got distracted after hearing the Ram Teri Ganga Maili song... so had to check out the few best songs from that movie... 😆

I liked this episode because finally, finally we are getting into the dynamics of Sameer's dysfunctional family... finally the CVs have dived right in, so far everything was on the periphery. To me this love story is incomplete without this aspect... too bad Nanu had to go for this side to come to the forefront...

As expected Somani house is a bigger and tougher mountain to climb. But I'm glad Sameer heard that conversation, as bitter as it was. What Vishaka and the Somanis don't realize is that Sameer is very intelligent and an extremely good judge of people... and during his stay at the Agarwals he has honed this skill. Today's conversation revealed to him that his mother didn't want him to leave. She was doing her best to stop the boarding school conversation and she even assured them that Sameer would adjust. A few more conversations and I'm sure Sameer will become more caring of his mother and make sure she won't face trouble because of him.

Another thing that came up which Sameer heard was the 'bigada' word from daadi and Somani seconding that, and a disparaging comment about Nanu's upbringing... .. a few more of that and he is so going to prove them all wrong! Because Nanu's izzat is his utmost priority... He will also understand what they are upto, which is make him commit a mistake so they can send him away...

We could see that effect immediately. He got irritated with Vishaka's 'Rohan and his schedule jaap' but he understood where she was coming from, thanks to the conversation below, where a whole storm was raised because Rohan missed one class... he knew that was why his mother was insisting about that... he understood that one more faux pas, one more missed class and it would become very difficult for his mother to defend him.

At the same time he was irritated at the callousness of the Somanis since they expected him to be the only one to adjust, while they wanted to carry on their life as usual... his taunt was well placed, and notice he didn't even have to raise his voice... now remember the old Sameer who used to shout at his mother when he faced such situations...

He also gathered that the kids in this house have not heard of him... and I think that hurt him the most today... he was an outsider in that house, this he could accept... but his own mother was so distant to him... all that love she showers on the other two in front of him literally twisted in him like a knife... that was all he had ever wanted from her, and she never gave him that... Rohan seemed sorted... seems like he had a genial welcome for Sameer but the little girl is a prankster... she will come to love her Sameer bhaiya soon... for now looks like daadi coached her before sending her in... so after that handshake Sameer was diffident in extending his hand again to Rohan... I think Rohan will definitely become Vishaka's conscience, while Sameer in his own way is going to point out a few home truths as well...

Once again Viskaha displayed her insensitivity towards him, by telling him he could live in that room but not to disturb Rohan in any manner! 😲 She could not even give him a cupboard to keep his things! 😡 No wonder he was so disturbed that he ran to get some air!

Naina...everything about that scene was completely expected. But she was so desperate that she found her way to Sameer's room... felt bad when things kept getting bad for her... she was so broken... shock, sad, shattered and guilty... yes so guilty that all the time she was angry and cursing him he was facing his worst nightmare without her... their last meeting just took on a whole new meeting. All she has now are beautiful memories and a few gifts from him which are now going to sustain her till she talks to him. Poor girl's crying is unstoppable. She knows her needs her more than anyone else... she is so desperate to talk to him, support him, let him pour out all his anguish to her...Instinct told her Sameer will call and she even bunks school! 😲 Topper Naina is seriously screwed!

As controversial as that takraar was, it was a surefire way to bring Naina back into Samer's line of sight...😃 And we got to know that their first ever meet had as much impact on him as well... that sudden realization that he had been so lost, he had moved to Delhi without informing her suddenly made him tear up with guilt... and so he runs like a madman to call her!

One again, have to applaud the VOs... what depth! And 'Meri Naina' was music to my ears... hey, does anyone remember when Naina called him mere Sameer for the first time? And the friends... very cute it was fighting for the bed! 😆 On one side his family is having trouble accepting him, his siblings don;t know him... and on the other had Ramdhari tells Naina he has no family here, exactly when he's thinking about his two soul brothers... Oh, the irony!

I'm liking this track because of the yearning, the pathos it brings... its very difficult to portray a comic tragedy on screen... and things about today we saw the first of that in this show... where Sameer was dejected recollecting the Mundit scene but that scene itself was beautiful, full of fun!

Ashi and Randeep again aced those emotions... these two are getting so good that they engage you in their emotions so well 👏

Subodh is the guy who was paired with sonali Kulkarni before she fell for Saif Ali Khan. He remembers date time place to the exact second when he proposed. Woh dinner date yaad nahi kya? Woh bhi super schedule ke mutabik chalta hai.

@ takkar scene - I kinda of understand but I've mixed feelings. Like Rekha said in some thread.. Somewhere I probably didn't want a third person in the memory. Couldn't a two ring on the phone reminde him of Naina, sweater like someone suggested. Or did they want to reboot from the first meeting? I'll wait for Monday to see final outcome.

You are right SMP were together all these days. Naina wasn't . So he needed a bigger jolt

Coming to the epi---

For me I would sum it up as ''PRIORITIZING".

Rohan prioritizing other activities in schedule than caring to make his brother comfortable.

Visakha prioritizing her ''dusra-family'' over Sameer

Sameer prioritizing his ''family-MunDit and Naina'' over his mother's place and people.

Naina prioritizing Sameer over her studies and school.

I am already in emotional mess due to my research report on Sylvia Plath and now CVs too are hell bent upon torturing me.

"And the danger is that in this move toward new horizons and far directions, that I may lose what I have now, and not find anything except loneliness. --Sylvia Plath

This exactly defines the current state of their relationship.Both falling lonely.Soon things will shine on brighter side with their sibling and friends coming to support them through thick and thin but at the moment he is cut from all ties and she is going to cut herself off...

And the whole schedule jaap by everybody except Deepika and Sam,according to my POV,is to show in later epis that Schedules and Priorities donot go along.

When priorities will be scheduled and not schedule which would be prioritised ---this would bring the change in dynamics of every relationship.

With this separation,relocation and distance,everyone's schedule is going to get awry...of which we got the first indication--swimming class miss.

More misses on way.

Both Preeti and Naina were logical at some points.Preeti In Sameer's room and Naina outside.Naina questioning how could not anyone know his number was on point.She was so desperate..could feel it.😭 He has taken away her soul with him.

Preeti too feeling her sister's pain yet trying to console was so relatable.She could do her best to make her sister live again..She knows her sister has died somewhere.

I am just waiting to see more of their flashbacks.😳

Minu... while you are grappling with Plath... her question... Is there a way out of the mind?
Indeed after meeting with the folks at the Delhi zoo..Sam must be plagued with this question..
I liked your summary of the track - priorititisation... and when they change some palpable difference ensues.

On to the episode..
Deepika is a half sister to both Rohan and Sameer while admittedly Deepika would be very close to Rohan as they have grown up together. Was Sameer even aware of Deepika? He did not too surprised so I am assuming he knew... I gather that Vishaka is behaving in a conditioned way although her motivations to submit to this conditioning is beyond me. She seems to be suggesting to Sameer through her behaviour that adjustment is key. She has made the adjustment to the regimen of the Somani household. She is asking the same of Sameer. If I were to extend the thought as Vishaka seems to have found through her experience that by adjusting she got something in return. The semblance of a "happy" family perhaps!!
Like she adjusted and got this family life in return, Sameer should adjust to get his family life now.

From the Somani family dynamics it seems clear they are ok to keep Sam at a distance... Bobby knew the responsibility was his but he wants to find a way to keep that responsibility at a distance. Dadi will get her way through Bobby or Vishaka without having to overtly state her position. That word schedule and target is enough but will wait to see how Ro responds to the disruption in schedule.

I have mentioned in tellyupdates thread why I have mixed feelings about the "encounter" so not repeating it here. For me it is an issue of the asthetics of the moment. Intention and execution mismatch.

Good post Nivi!

After watching this episode i've started hating two words "Adjustment" & "Schedule"😆 That so called schedule really irked me a lot! Everyone needs to adjust to Rohan's timetable😕 I still can't digest that! In Naina's language "Kuch bhi"😕 But Rohan seemed to be a nice guy with positive attitude & had no ego or hard feelings & was not even angry with Sameer for spoiling his Sleep!

Anyways loved sameer,munna,pandit scene & loved the way he woke up with "MERI NAINA"❤️

Hope they speak to each other soon!
