Okay so I just caught yesterday's epi.. and the one thing that crossed my mind on watching dadi was.. how fun it would b see some Dadi vs Preeti contest.. the overcontrolling dadi and the free spirited fun loving rule breaker that Preeti is.. it will b sheer fun to watch their interaction.. since Preeti is very outspoken.. and witty in her dialogues.. and Dadi is Dadi.. what can we say about her.. typical spoilt rich Dadi.. and she has a doting rule-abiding grandson.. who lives by time table.. 😆
I m really looking forward to Preeti-Rohan interaction.. what an interesting contrast of characters PH have come up with.. 😛
And yes as many have pointed out, the TAiji-Dadi interaction would definitely b all fireworks.. cant even imagine cribbing Rakesh at show-off Somani's 😆 .. some really fun characters we have got here at Unn Dino..😆
But Taiji,, Rakesh,,, essentially are not evil characters.. thy r just them,, whom v very much find in our real life.. with specific dislikable character traits .. that we would never want to b at the receiving end .. but can neither help being around them.. No dbt Preeti and Naina have grown in a typical household where every difficulty is taken in its stride.. It's life and tht's how its going to be.. Chin up, Face it, Smile, and Live..
tht's how Naina's life experiences can b described at Aggarwal household, where she lives in a very real world... there r ppl like Taiji, who criticize her constantly, have even used bitter words, and Rakesh who she is ignored by completely.. and yet she knows that there is love warmth and affection still in the world.. coz thrs her doting extended family.. her mother-like bela chachi, her guide-like chacha, her sister-like cousin, and a loving but possessive and repressed brother.
So yes.. Sameer's dream-like world had been completely different from Naina's and he got a mild reality check of tht when he was at Aggarwal's ..
and yet with no Nanu to shield him from harsh realities of life.. things would b different at Somani household.. where the world it seems is more "disciplined" thn at Aggarwals..
the one problem tht Sameer always had with was "discipline" ..
While contradictory to many of ur views, I kinda agree with Somani's way of handling Sameer.. one would know if one had a strict father of yesteryears.😆
But today, we got more insight into Somani's character.. He is strict, practical, and expects some sort of discipline in the way of conducting your life.. but we also saw his human side in dealing with Sameer.. so he isn't essentially anti-Sameer.. his best things for Sameer are different from tht of Nanu..
and he thinks his mother does not run the household.. 😆 this shows how far away he is from the happenings of his household.. I bet he blindly trusts his mother's upbringing for Rohan.. and rarely interferes.. in short, he thinks that his Somani household is perfect because of dadi.. 😆 and yes he inherits that occasional mean streak from his mother..
He points out to Vishakha's shortcomings.. and Dadi too is hard on Vishakha.. Alas, she seems to b a lost character.. she cud neither b a good mother to Sameer nor could b a good wife or bahu..
Lets c how her equation runs with Rohan and her daughter.
But all in all, I really want to see Rohan-Preeti's love story and how she rattles the staid Somani household with her quirky perky nature..
yes I m dreaming too far into the future.. 😆 but little hints to the CVs cant harm.. 😉

p.s. this is the only show where thy have such broad range of interesting side characters.. munna-pandit r gem..
