I think the male VO voice is just perfect. it suits the complexity of sameer's character, and yet has the gentle mellowness which characterizes sameer's heart. its a very emotional yet strong voice, just like sameer's character.
there is also this reflective, thoughtful aspect in his voice...as if he is slowly remembering, reconsidering and reliving all those memories. and there is always this gentle flute music with his VO which just sets the tone. i think Sam's VO is always more emotional, more deep and more intense. Sadia on the other hand is sometimes laughing, sometimes giving nuggets of information about the times, and sometimes describing. it represents the difference in their characters, and the way they relive their past. its almost as if despite his lack of seriousness, sameer is actually the deeper personality of the two.finally, naina's VO is mostly happy becoz she has had a happy childhood. Sameer's VO very aptly captures the lonely childhood Sameer had, where he had to do most of his own growing up without help. (except nanu of course)

Well said! you penned it down beautifully and brought across an amazing point. I always keep questioning myself why Naina's VO keeps laughing to herself all the time while Sameer's VO is more reflective and represents his gradual transformation as well as sets the tone for his self-actualization. Then again, Naina was already quite mature for her age since she had seen what life was like both without a mother/money and knew that she would have to work hard for the luxuries of life. She was always more responsible since she'd always known that her family's kindness could not be taken for granted whereas Sameer had learnt to lead a lavish life because he had nothing else to fill the void. And therefore, he was gradually learning what life is like if you are surrounded by people who care for you. Good job on the critical analysis, mate!đ
yu r so right randeeps voice can seem serious n bhaari n mature when he wants to ...yup IN FACT I WISH THEY GOT neelesh MISHRA to do sameer's voice over...instead of jiten laalwaaniđOriginally posted by: DevyaniRP
No you are not the only one. I also don't like. Sameer's VO should have been done by Randeep himself. No match of the tonal quality of the actor and VO artist. But Sadia jis voice completely suits Naina.
