Part 10
Sameer & Naina started spending time with each other. There was no one single day that they didn't spoke and meet each other. From there busy schedule they ensured that they find time for each other. Their friendship was growing to another level where they were comfortable with each other on sharing and speaking on any topics. Late night talks, fighting with each other on silly things and then apologizing was nothing new to them. They started knowing each other so well that without speaking they both used to understand what's going in each other minds.
Sameer had introduced Naina as her best friend to his couple of friends (Munna & Pandit). The days passed by and Sameer film was released but it didn't perform well on the box office and Sameer was very upset with this. He didn't even attended any calls or responded to any messages. Naina was continuously trying to call him, but there was no response. She was worried and hence decided to speak with Munna.
Naina: Hi Munna, how are you? Actually I was trying to reach Sameer from yesterday but he is not responding to my calls so was bit worried and hence thought of speaking with you.
Munna: Actually Naina, I had a talked with him yesterday and he was disappointed with the response received for his movie and was unwell as well. He took a off for couple of days, so he may be at his home.
Naina asked for his address and decided to visit his place. After finishing her morning OPD she was at Sameer's place around 2.00 pm. She rang the door bell and servant (Ramu kaka) opened the door. She introduced herself and asked if she can meet Sameer. To which Ramu kaka replied, "He is sleeping in his room from yesterday and having fever, but he refused to visit the doctor. Naina requested him if she can see him.
The room was dark and curtains were closed. Naina softly called Sameer but there was no response, hence she just touched him and she sensed that his body was boiling with fever. Naina asked Ramu kaka for Thermometer to check temperature. It was showing 104. Naina immediately asked Ramu kaka to bring cold water and cloth. She prescribed a medicine, injections, gave him money and asked him to bring it from medical store. Meanwhile she continued to keep cold water strips on his head.
Due to high fever, Sameer was not able to open his eyes. Ramu kaka brought the prescribed medicine, Naina gave him injection, with the prick he opened his eyes and saw Naina was sitting near to him. However, he was not able to speak, Naina gave him tablets and he again went to sleep. Naina cancelled all her evening appointments and decided to stay with him. Meanwhile Naina informed Munna about Sameer's condition, he to immediately came to see if he was ok. Naina didn't move for a single minute from his bed. She informed at home that she is handling a patient and don't know when she will be back. But informed Rishi about the situation. Munna settled himself in the living room and Naina was sitting besideSameer's bed. Fever was reduced, but due to medicine he was in deep sleep. She removed her bracelet and ring and kept it on the side table. She sat down on the floor, near to his bed and fallen sleep.
In a deep sleep, Sameer turned his face towards Naina. Her one hand was stretching towards him and on other hand she kept her head. Accidently in a sleep Sameer holded Naina's hand and took it near to his heart and covered it by his another hand.
It was 7.00 am in the morning and Sameer woke up from a sleep. He was surprised to see Naina sleeping near to his bed and her hand was in his hand and so close to his heart. He immediately woke up from his bed, without disturbing her he went outside. Munna was sleeping on Sofa and Ramu Kaka was in the kitchen. Ramu kaka told him what happened and how Naina took care of him. He also told him that she refused to leave since you were having high temperature. Sameer asked him to prepare a cup of tea and went back to his room.
He sat on his knees near to Naina and tried to wake her up from the sleep. She was deep in a sleep. One strand of her hair was falling on her face and disturbing her, Sameer softly tucked it behind her ears and smiled. He again softly whispered, "Naina...Naina. There was no response. He didn't want her to be disturbed, but still he was not ok of her spending whole night at his place. He was worried about her family since he was not aware what she told them. He slightly increased his voice and again said, "Naina...Naina to which Naina reacted and said, "sone do na Papa...disturb mat karo. Sameer was confused what to do, he again said, "Naina to which Naina said keeping her finger on her cheeks, "achha kissi do. Sameer smiled and was speechless and didn't understood how to react, he could only believe that a girl sleeping in front of him was so beautiful, as beautiful as this lovely morning which suddenly brought a smile on his face after couple of days. He was totally numb, smiling on Naina's antics and was clueless how to react.
After sometime Naina woke up rubbing her eyes and said, kya papa aaj no kissi totally unaware that she was at Sameer's home. She was in shock when she saw Sameer sitting in front of her. She then recollected that she was at his house. She immediately stood up and asked him, if he is fine now. She touched his forehead and was happy that there was no temperature. She started scolding him for not informing her, not picking her calls. He stood up listening to her, and hold her on shoulders with his both hand and said, "Thank you...Thank you for being there on time and taking care my dear Doctor Naina.
Naina then further said, "Thank you se kuchnahi hoga, penalty bharni padegi. Sameer smiled and leaned towards her asked, "kya chahiye doctor sahiba ko. Naina thought for a second and said, waqt aane pe mang lungi..udhaar raha tumpe. Sameer said, "ok Doctor sahiba.
Then Naina said that she has to leave. Sameer asked her to get fresh, have a cup of tea with him and he will ask Munna to drop her. Naina replied, "I know to drive and I came by my car.
Naina got fresh and came out of his bathroom. She was combing her hair looking into the mirror and Sameer was silently observing her. This was all new for Sameer, he had never felt a presence of second person in his room. Rohan used to visit him frequently but this feeling was totally new. He only understood that he was happy by her presence in his room. It was giving a soothing effect. She disturbed him from his thoughts and asked him to take morning dose. Sameer refused but Naina forcefully gave him the dose along with breakfast and asked him to take rest. She told him that she would come back in the afternoon. She instructed Ramu kaka what he needs to eat for lunch and had asked him to give status on regular basis. She asked Munna to check the temperature on regular intervals and inform her.
Naina left for the home and then she went to hospital. Naina was calling Munna to ensure that fever is in control. Ramu kaka prepared simple lunch for Sameer and Munna too accompanied him. During lunch Munna asked Sameer about Naina and the way she took care of him. He asked him whether there is something between them. Sameer refused and clearly said she is very good and cute friend nothing else. You know very well that I don't want to fall under any commitment nor any relation.
Munna smiled and said, "let see, till when you abide to this statement to which Sameer replied, "life long then he said, "chal khana kha le ab aur so ja. Sameer finished the lunch, took afternoon dose and was trying to sleep. He also asked Munna to leave and take some rest since he is fine, but Munna refused he said he would wait until Naina is back and then he will leave. At around 3.00 pm the doorbell rang and Naina came with bags of fruits. Munna then said he will leave now and shall back in the night.
They both sat on the sofa. Naina touched Sameer's forehead to check the temperature. Then she said why didn't you informed me yesterday that you are not keeping well. I was so worried you were not picking the call and hence took the address from Munna and came to meet you. Sameer was quiet and there was no response from his end. Naina understood that Sameer is disturb and then she tried to understand the reason behind his silence.
Further Naina said, "Are you disturb because of your film?
Sameer: Hmm
Naina: Do you really feel that you didn't put all your efforts
Sameer: No..I don't feel so..rather I gave my heart and soul
She came and sat beside Sameer and said, "Sameer sometimes you have to leave it to god, there might be something good written for you, it's not the end of the world. Your efforts will not go in waste and you shall be surely paid for that. You have other assignments in your hand. You need to concentrate on that, forget it and move on. You have chosen these career and every time you can't get good response. You have to take learning's from past and don't repeat your mistakes. You are a very good actor, ups and down will only make you stronger. Chalo ab hass bhi do There was a small smile on his face.
Further Sameer said, "Thanks for being there for me
Naina: Bachoo sirf thanks se kaam nahi chalega...ek toh film release hui ...no party...its a very big thing my dear
Sameer: Kya chahiye tumhe?
Naina: Soch ke batungi, dekho jo mangungi dena padega
Sameer: Pehle mango toh sahi
Naina: Pehle thik ho jao, then I will tell and she further asked did you called at home? They would be worried.
Sameer gave a quick call to his Mom and spoke to her. He was feeling better and relaxed now. He thanked Naina whole-heartedly.
Naina: when are you resuming back to shoot?
Sameer: In couple of days
They had a long chat; both were comfortable in sharing details about each other. Then Naina asked him to be ready at morning 7.00 am next day. Sameer asked, "why? She said, "you promised me that you will give whatever I will ask for & now without any further question be ready at 7.00am, I want to take you at one place. Sameer said, "Batao to sahi she said, "No, its a surprise
Then she decided to leave, Sameer was not happy that she is leaving but he didn't understood what's that feeling was. He went until door to leave her then she said, "kal subah 7.00 baje tayar rehna
Sameer was eagerly waiting for next day morning, he continuously tried to disturb Naina and ask her what she had planned... but Naina refused to tell him.
Next day at 7.00 am Naina was sharp at his place, she gave him a call and asked him to come down. As soon as Sameer came down, he saw Naina was on driving seat in her Ciaz. He said are we going somewhere. We can take my car. She said no, we will take my car only you please sit". Sameer again asked, "hum kaha ja rahe hai to which Naina replied, "Tumhe bhagake le ja rahi hoon, please baitho na Sameer hope you trust me
Sameer was happy seeing Naina in her simple looks, she was wearing baby pink colour lucknowi kurti. After sometime Naina said, "We are going to Orphange & old age home near Lonavala, I usually go once in a month, so this time I thought I should take you with me you will enjoy and have fun. Also we will have long drive as well...jo tumhe pasand hai. Sameer was lost in her words and was feeling very happy. They touched the express way & Naina was driving at 120 ka speed. Sameer was frightened by her driving, he said, "no doubt I too drive with high speed but madam ji mujhe thoda darr lag raha hai, thoda speed kam karengi aap, abhi tak meri shadi bhi nahi hui hai...Naina reduced the speed of the car and stopped on one side of the road. She further said, "kya bola apne...abhi tak shadi bhi nahi hui hai...are you thinking of marriage and settling down...ye soch maine parivartan kaise...koi mil to nahi gayi...waise Mr. Maheshwari jab baat cheedi hai toh ye bhi bata do kaisi ladki chahiye. There was a smile on Sameer face and he replied, "Koi mili nahi hai ab tak...but koi aisi ho jisse milke mujhe sukun mile...aisa lage jaise uske pass ate hi meri dil maine jo toofan hai wo tham jaaye...jo mere bin a kuch kahe mujhe samjhe...jo sirf mujhe pyaar kare sirf mujhe...jo sadgi se bhari ho...jis ke samne aate hi saare dard gayab ho...mere jeene ki tamana...jise dekhte hi mere chehre pe muskurahat aaye to that Naina replied, "waah Mr. Maheshwari...to shuru karte hai Mrs. Maheshwari ko dhundna and she again started driving. Further Sameer said, "Jyada serious mat lo meri batoon ko...maine Sameer ho...hawa ka jhoka. Meanwhile they reached Orphanage. Naina called the helpers and asked them to take aways gifts, cakes, sweets, and snacks from the car. They both went inside.
It was a 2-storey building surrounded by trees. There was a small playground, garden, swings. Charpai were kept under trees. As soon as children saw Naina coming they all ran towards her and she was surrounded by all of them. They all started screaming for chocolates. She asked Sameer to handover the gifts and chocolates to children's and then they went inside. There were many old age uncle and aunties; they all hugged her one by one. They all were super happy seeing her. Naina introduced Sameer to them. Peter uncle cam near to Sameer and slowly told him that, "Meri girlfriend hai..usse durr rehna...warna. Naina came near to them and introduced Peter uncle as his boyfriend to Sameer. Peter uncle cupped her face and kissed her forehead and asked her, "How are you my little angel...as usual looking cute. She took his hand and said, "I am fine...how is your health?
There were games & party planned by those people in the garden, each one of them participated, music was played. Initially the children played a game, there were 2 groups one was lead by Sameer & other was from Naina. Each group has 10 children each and each one of them given the number between 1 to 10 by there lead, which was kept secret within there group. There was a circle in between and handkerchief kept in that circle. One person (referee) who is not from any group will call the number and that number from both the group has to come near to that circle. The person who steals the handkerchief and cross the boundary line of the group then that person wins.
Both the team were at equal point and it was last chance. The referee called out number 5 and the number was belonging to Naina and Sameer. They both came near to circle and Sameer was trying to distract Naina...the children's were shouting Naina...Naina...Sameer...Sameer. Sameer slowly said, "Jeetunga toh maine hi...Naina replied, "dekhte hai. They both were revolving round the circle to pick the handkerchief. Sameer was looking into Naina's eyes and Naina suddenly winked at Sameer. Sameer was totally flat and didn't understood what happened. He stood straight; meanwhile Naina picked the handkerchief and ran. Sameer woke up from the shock and ran behind her but she crossed the line and her team started screaming. Sameer frowned and went to referee and said, she did cheating. Referee told, "my eyes were open and I am watching there was no cheating...you got lost in between and didn't move..its not her fault. To which Naina added, "Yes Referee, its not at all my fault. Sameer gave a angry look at her and came near to her and said, " toh tumne kuch nahi kiya & he came little closer to her she replied, "haan maine kuch nahi kiya. He took one more step close to her & Naina took a step back and stepped on a stone. She lost her balance, Sameer quickly grabbed her hand and waist and stopped her from falling. They both lost looking into each other eyes and then Sameer winked back, took his hand from her waist and left from that place. Naina stood in a shock looking him going away from him.
Naina's team had won this game. There was music going on and Sameer was dancing with aunties & Naina was dancing with Peter uncle. While dancing her eyes was on Sameer and observing masti he was doing with all aunties & children's. Peter uncle said, "Good choice...Naina got distracted from Sameer, stopped dancing and looked at peter uncle. She said, "We are only good friends. Peter uncle laughed and left from there. They played many games like lagori etc and then they all had a lunch under the tree.
There was drawing competition arranged for all. Naina asked Sameer to draw something. Sameer happily agreed and he started drawing along with other children's. Naina was observing him from far, he was so much engrossed in the drawing. He didn't allowed her to see what he was actually doing. After sometime, he called Naina to see his drawing. He has sketched a couple sitting on a mountain watching a beautiful sunrise. The painting was really beautiful and she asked Sameer if she could take this. Sameer replied off course it's for you only. She insisted Sameer to draw regularly. Sameer promised her that he would surely do this now on regular basis.
It was 5.00 clock and they both have to leave that place. Naina handed over a cheque of 25,000 to manager as she usually used to do. Sameer to transferred 50,000 in there account. Sameer heart was full of happiness and he could sense that people were not happy since they both were leaving. He promised that they both will come to meet them again in next month. Sameer hugged each and every one, clicked photos, gave autographs and they both left the place.
Naina asked Sameer if he could drive since she was tired. Sameer smirked, took the keys from her hands and started driving. Sameer was driving at a speed of 100, Naina said, "Humein late ho jayega and we might get stuck in traffic too. Sameer replied, "Ho jaane do, I don't want this day to end so soon...Thanks Naina...I am so happy today, I never felt like this. He stopped a car near one chai ki tapri and ordered for 2 chai. There was a deep valley behind and they both sat on the wall. He once again thanked Naina of making him understand different perspective of life and pulling him up from his lowest mood. These people have lost everything in there life but still they are very happy, trying to find out happiness in smallest thing. I spoke to those childrens and they have zeal to fulfill there dreams with there hardship, they just started walking on path of there dreams facing all hardship. They are falling, getting hurt, but still they stood up to walk towards there destiny with smiling face. So Naina, "I am not gonna think what had happened in a past, I will just concentrate on my future projects...I know there will be more ups and down...but one day I will reach there. Thanks my Lovely friend. After finishing the chai they left from there.
While driving Naina slept, he slowly open the window and cool breeze starting hitting Naina's face. She waked up and asked Sameer to close the window. Sameer refused and said, "Naina Agarwal I am in love with this day...Ohooo. Naina first dropped Sameer at his place. She came out of the car. Sameer once again thanked Naina, opened the door for her and handed over the keys. He asked her to call back once she reach back to home. He waited till Naina's car went away from his eyes. Suddenly smile faded from his face. But then his phone rang and it was Rohan on other side.
Rohan was angry on Sameer for not speaking with him, but then today Sameer spoke with him wholeheartedly, what all things happened in past few days and how he spent his entire day with Naina today. Rohan immediately understood the freshness and happiness in Sameer's voice. Meanwhile he was getting a call from Naina, he told Rohan that he shall call him back and received Naina's call. Naina informed him that she reached safely and shall talk to him later. She hang the phone before he could speak anything.
The days passed by there silsila of Night calls, lunch, dinner, movies continued. They have started understanding each other so nicely.
One fine day during dinner Sameer adviced Naina to start her own hospital as she was talented, intelligent, smart and holds a good rapport in market. He also suggested few places for her hospital. He also took her to consultant and asked her to think it on a very seriously. He convinced her that initially she might face some challenge but gradually things will work out. Naina spoke about these thoughts to her family and they were very happy with Naina's decision. Naina thanked Sameer for becoming his strength and guiding her.
Rishi was surprised and he could sense the difference in Naina's behavior, her freshness and her body language. He had observed her late night calls with Sameer. He decided to speak with Naina. On one of the night he came in her room, Naina was talking to Sameer as soon as she saw Rishi she told Sameer that she would speak with him later. There were 2 coffee mugs in Rishis's hand. He further said, I was missing you so thought of coming to your room. We didn't had a chat from long time. Can we sit at our favorite place. They both went in the balcony, Naina sat on her swing & Rishi on chair.
Rishi further asked is there anything that you want to share with me. Naina replied, "No, but why are you asking me this question now?. Rishi holded her hand and took her inside her room. Naina's room had a wall which had pictures of her near ones, who are closed to her heart. There was new addition to that wall and it was Sameer Maheshwari photo. Rishi asked her about Sameer Maheshwari, Naina told him everything about Sameer, how they met, how friendship happened and grew gradually. She shared each and everything about him.
Rishi further asked, "Do you have any feelings for him or does he spoke to you about his feelings? Naina was quiet and replied, "Bhaiya...we are just friends, only friends, nothing more or nothing less. Rishi looked at her and started laughing and further said, "wahi maine sochu aisa kaun pagal hai jo meri pagli se pyaar kar baithega Naina got angry and said, "toh apne Sameer ko pagal kaha...apne mere dost ko pagal kaha Rishi replied and said, "maine tujhe pagal kaha.
They both sat on the bed, Rishi took her hand in his hand and said, "on a serious note Naina...its high time that you have to think about your life partner, you have not chosen anyone for yourself...agar koi hota toh main tujhe zaroor support karta...Hitler ne itne acche rishte laye tumhare liye unme se ek mujhe bhi pasand hai ek baar mil toh le..teri marji ke bina kuch nahi hoga...but you have to think about your future na bachha somehow Naina understood what Rishi was trying to say and she agreed that she will meet once that guy. Rishi then stood up and left the room he closed the door and smiled since his plan was successful.
Next day Rishi had arranged for a meeting of Naina and that guy (his name was Ramesh). They were suppose to meet in a hotel at 8.00 pm. Ramesh was waiting for Naina. Ramesh was a cardiologist and owned his hospital. He was good looking and smart doctor. He was happy to see Naina and was super impress by her looks. He initiated the talk and ordered Non veg dish. Naina immediately said that she is pure veg. But he clearly said that he will not be able to change his eating habits. Naina immediately remember his first dinner with Sameer and how he changed all order since Naina was not eating Non-veg. Naina was not at all comfortable with him, she was badly missing Sameer and eagerly wanted to meet him. She was restless and was not understanding what is happening to her, why she is not comfortable with any guy near to her. Why her heart is not at willing to speak with anyone other than Sameer. She was lost in her thoughts. Ramesh interrupted her from her thoughts, she just asked him whether she can leave because she is not feeling well. He insisted to drop her, but she refused and just left the place. While leaving she took her phone from her purse and there were 15 missed call from Sameer. She gave a call back to Sameer. Sameer was attending Munna's birthday party.
Sameer asked Naina about his meeting with Ramesh and Naina just replied, it was ok. He then further asked to come to Munna's place...Munna too invited her for his birthday party. Sameer booked a car for her and then she reached Munna's birthday party venue. Naina was totally disturb; she was not at all understanding what's going on in her mind. Why she is so nervous, but as soon as she saw Sameer her restlessness was gone and there was a smile on her face. She hugged Sameer and was not ready to leave him. Sameer was surprise by Naina's behavior; he understood that something is bothering her. He even asked her but Naina smartly handled the situation and replied that she was not at all comfortable with Ramesh. Sameer then took her to Munna, she wished him and then Sameer left to bring a juice for her.
On his way to juice corner, he met a girl, she hugged him, gave a kiss on his cheeks and took a selfie with him. Naina was seeing all this, she was jealous of that girl and was super angry on Sameer. Sameer returned with 2 glass of juice. Naina was fighting with her inner turmoil, trying to get the answers for all her questions and her restlessness. Sameer was continuously asking her what's the issue because he could sense that something was bothering her but Naina didn't utter a word because she was not having answers to her own questions. She sat quietly and left from the party with Sameer after sometime. She was quiet while driving back to home. Sameer was tensed, because this was not his usual Naina. But Sameer decided to keep quiet and let her be comfortable to speak first. They reached Naina's place and she just stepped down from the car. Sameer again asked her whats the issue. She just replied I would speak to you later. She then handed over the tissue to him and asked him to clean lipstick mark on his cheeks. Sameer then asked her is that because of this lipstick mark she is not speaking with him? Naina just replied why I should be angry on you for this. You will have multiple such friends in your life who shall kiss you here and there. He stopped her and said, "but you are my special friend...a very special friend. She hugged him and said sorry for the words. She then further said I am confused today, trying to find some answers and left the place. Sameer waited till she reached her building because he too was disturbed with her behavior. He just wanted her to stop and asked her to speak. He knew her very well, that she will not speak. He waited to see if she turns back and before entering into her building she turned back, waved her hand and gave smile to Sameer. Sameer then left the place and was lost in thinking what was bothering her.
Naina went to her room and took shower. She slept on her bed and questioned herself that does she loves Sameer. She was scared to accept that she has fallen for Sameer. She decided to speak with Rishi. It was around 1.00 am in the morning.
She went to Rishi's room and sat near to him. She forced him to speak with her. Rishi got up and told her that I knew today you would come to me, "ab bolo, kya hua. Naina told him everything and she was feeling relaxed as she was opening in front of Rishi. But at last she said, "I think I started liking him unknowingly, may be I had fallen in love with him. Bhaiya I was not able to sit with Ramesh for a single second. I was searching for Sameer everywhere. I was angry & jealous when random girl was near to Sameer...is it love Bhaiya? and tears started falling from her eyes. Rishi took hugged her, kissed her head and replied, "may be yes...but why are you crying you should be happy. Naina replied, "I know I should be happy but Sameer don't believes in love or any relationship. He wants to stay single and fulfill his dream Rishi was shocked with this sentence and understood that his sister is on wrong path but he only said, "don't worry everything will be fine...God will surely guide you

I know its a long update but now I wanted to start with there love story...it is just a beginning long way to go...Naina just realized her feelings and soon it will be Sameer's turn...Hope you all will like it...waiting for your comments
