Sorry Ladies, got very busy later in the day.
So many pages of discussions.

I guess it is true, makers have too many constraints and they have to cater to the majority audience.

Anyways Nanaji is no more and it is a fact.

Let us see what happens next.

I used to watch EDKV too but never peeped into the forum.
Initially it had started off so well and later what a let down. It was like "The Curse of the second half" phrase come true.

I hope Undinon does not travel down that road.

And I think they could not have chosenkids younger than this for a love story, that would not have been credible. So yes, they are stuck with this age factor... and short on time because of it.

As you wrote, they have already explored the path of Naina;s family, and honestly I've always felt something incomplete because till date Naina did not know everythingabout Sameer... other than his basic family background and that he was a loner. With the redemption track she realized his qualities, his strength of character ( and we did too), and this time she fell in love with someone who is beautiful in and out... so that has been secured. At teh same time even Sameer discovered that the kind girl who he thought had a beautiful heart and fell in love with was also beautiful to look at... so both things were achieved now. But what about the underlying issues in his life... that had never been addressed... the fear of abandonmentbeing primary.

Now with Nanu out that question will come back... how will Sameer develop in a place where this fear is very real, because he has faced it all his life... and now he will haveto depend on that very same person, who never once thought before sending him off to hostel. The saving grace is Nanu has made him his son and heir, so i don'tthink there will be any monetaryproblems for him (I hope not!). And Nanu also ensured his immediate future will be with Vishaka and the Somanis. I hope Sameer will lose some of that fear now... he will atleast not be left to his own devices.

Also, coming back to the age... he is almost 18, and if they wanted him to develop any sort of relationship with his mother then they had to address it soon. Because after 18, legally he doesn't 't have to live with her anyway. But to do that the situation had to arise andit did now. Yes, he could've been forced to live with his mother and step-family even if Nanu was in coma or incapacitated, and he could've taken over the business. But again it would not be that desperate situation, because he could have lived in Ahmedabad too and had medical care for Nanu and still learnt under him... I feel that's why they chose the sudden death scenario. Now they are forced to be together.Since there is a matriarchin the Somani family, Nanu would not live there, which meant that Vishaka and Sameer would not live under the same roof anyway... but now that will not be the case.

Also, the slow process is easierto write on paper and very difficult to execute on screen. At the end of the day a separation would happen between Samaina in either case, but here that need, that desperation to get back to each other will be more. here, both of them are up against thewall in terms of moral support... so how they manage to communicate will be interesting to see. I also think they will do a slowish-fast school year of the 12th and then college too. Wonder what timeline the CVs have in mind for them to meet again...

U wrote it so well n everything makes so much sense..

Just thinking if Vishaka shares the same with Rohan

And if true, Sameer will be very envious of this bond.

Just trying to go through everyone's posts as much as possible. Seems like a fabulous episode. Will miss Nanu terribly.
Nandy , Kavita... Even I hated the fact that Nanu had to go. I was looking for various options for Nanu to stay... But I guess it's their story. I'm slowly coming to terms with that.

Just waiting to see how Naina becomes his strength.
So heartwarming to see Munna pandit be there for Sameer our telebahu.

Real life calling. Will catch your all later!!!

EDIT- Nivi. Don't bother t replying to this. I just came here aadat se majboor. 😆

Dekho jaldi episode , cant be missed
Aadat se majbhoor hum bhi hai to reply to all posts !😆

The village scenes were good.. but I really can't enjoyed the scenes..

Nanu's character though appeared once in a while was definitely a favourite character.

How beautiful were Nanu's dialogues today I'm sure everyone who lost their loved ones at some point in their life could relate to the scene.

Thoroughly enjoyed the episode. I'm heartbroken that Nanu would not be able to see all the milestones in Sameer's life.

And for me I really wanted Naina Nanu to have a heartfelt conversation at some point in the show. But unfortunately that will not happen.

Take a bow to Kiran hi and Randeep. The subtlety of their expression and emotions touched me

Many of us too wanted a Nanu and Naina conversation but the writerss didnt feel the need unfortunately

It was sameer and Nanu' s day ...the day that changes lives ...
Randeep and kiranji nailed it ..
Randeep took sameer to another level
He has come a long way.

Somani tap on sameer shoulder gives a positive vibe...but he has major issue in accepting Sameer..
Acceptance is the first thing for any new relationship...and then comes bonding ..Sameer is pushed away by somani .

Naanu last words touched hearts ...what a beautiful way of conveying responsibility to vishaka and declaring Sameer as Sameer Jai prakash Maheshwari ...this was the best scene for me.
.bcoz if nanu wouldn't be done it..sameer had to fight for his own identity..
Very emotional episode ..

Thank you Daksha !

Somani shoulder touch, I have no positive vibes at all. He is like a chamelon who will change colors. He is just behaving appropriately for tge situation.

As always you write so well and delve deeply into the characters..
You are absolutely right when u say that some things are perhaps easy to write but extremely difficult to translate on screen.
As for Naina knowing Sameer... this is her real chance to do so..the distance only adding to the challenge. For me this story completes its loop when Naina looks beyond the rose tinted glasses. This is not to doubt her love at all rather give a different hue to that love .how when is for the CVs to decide...

Will wait patiently for it to unfold.. 😊
