"You may hold my hand for a while, but you hold my heart forever"

As milestones go...this is an important one for a relationship intended and meant for keeps...every bond of love has to progress to different levels of intimacy as trust builds.

As episodes go...this one was very special too...and I am glad that the CVs chose to make this milestone a symbolic one too. Symbolic in that...there are good times and bad. With the smooth comes the rough.

All day long...he was eager to hold her hand and yet when the moment came...it was not the way romantics may have envisaged their special moment. However...that's life!! Yet their bond showed that little detail was not to deter the lovebirds...who literally seized the opportunity with both...err with one special hand. 😆😆

CVs...you crossed this hurdle rather well...With the foreboding precap...some things will be set in motion...and these sweet memories will stand the young lovebirds in good stead!!

Lovely post!

I was also quite satisfied with how the CVS dealt with this topic today. It wasn't OTT, and true to YUDKBH style, they kept it simple and relatable. Like you said, the way they finally held hands, it was unexpected, but memorable nonetheless. 😊

It was rather symbolic and heart warming at the same time!

As ur post title says...for better or for worse...Samaina r together...most amazing love story and cvs r doing a brilliant job with lil nuisances!!. Beautiful!

I am watching the episode while reading your post. He just held her hand the first time after 10 attempts in the class, I counted it 😆

For better or worse is what comes to mind when he held the kheechad se sanna hua haath. Very symbolic and true to our jodi and show, unique way to show first touch.

As Naina herself said, nothing was straightforward in their case. Even the hand holding or the VO in the scene clearly indicated that their hands will never let go of each other come what may

Nicely written... I felt so too that holding hands was more symbolic than anything else.. Naina was very happy for this reason... It was an indication that he'll never let go off her. 😊

I would say it was expected due to two things...

1) from a narrative's perspective, when you show so many unsuccessful attempts...it naturally follows that when it happens it has to follow a different trajectory or have some element of surprise ( leaving aside the spoilers ) 😆
2) in some ways, it was meant to close the earlier loop of the outstretched hand that Sameer had ignored the first time around; he may have helped her then without meaning to fulfill the promise of what that meant for Naina but today both the circumstances and feelings are different for both..Naina is not testing him and at the same time Sameer is fulfilling the unspoken promise to love and cherish her.

For me these scenes were memorable for this very reason. I had written in Nivi's post that I am waiting to see how they bring this about. Needless to say...the scene surpassed my expectation.

While the CVs have been following a steady path...sometimes the thoughtfulness in how a scene is planned leaves you a bit wonderstruck.. Some great writing and planning on the scenes..and of course competent acting 😊
