I had one thought... Why they didn't look into each other's eyes while confessing... Even during mt. Abu confession, Naina said it from behind... No eye contact... The cage thing seems to be true. .. They are not free s of now.. Naina has her family to control and soon sameer will be under somani's control... Its a long way to go... Not an easy path at all... A path full of thorns like somani and Rakesh... I had so many mixed emotions while watching the epi... Anyway beautiful post.

Loved your interpretation. That ''I am your world'' thing is the HAQ thing we often discuss. That shield, support thing was the first thing that came to my mind with the first watch but with the second watch...The camera's focus on bars and they lost in each others eyes with smile adorning the faces ...white and pink ...contrast to the deep black of grills...and I didn't feel a positive vive.😕

Yeah I agree with you on this Minu...Haq and the happy interpretations are all good till certain limit and we have discussed it many times...but reality is always different from this ...there will be problems along the way and the path ahead is going to be difficult...Somani's scene today was like a clear indication of it...but humare hero-heroine 90s wale hai...they will cross all barriers if they have each other by their side...
Thank you for a lovely insight to this

from within.Blame me for ruining your mood if you are reading this post. But the
confession behind the gilded bars didn't give me a positive vive.

The gilded bars are the reminders that they are not free yet
from the strong malice of society and the 'not-so-well wishers'' of their
lives. They are caged still. The last few minutes of the episode was a faint
reminder of that.

Love is a cage, a very
painful one; its gilded bars made with yearning, heartache, and unfulfilled
dreams.Yes!with all the positive attributes of love this is one aspect
too.So these two little birds have to
bear the cage-stays to be able to fly with freedom one day, together and
forever.

I
loved the confession scene but this one thing caught my mind..
This is strictly my POV,do pour in your observations on this.😳

Hi, you may be right in your interpretation. I haven't seen the episode but looking at the pics I can tell, the logic behind showing the confession this way 1) the shyness in there relationship esp at nainas end which is evident from her shying away from Sameer whenever he tries to touch her and not able to look into his eyes. So Sameer had to corner/ cage her so she can at least confess. 2) CVs had to come up with some unique idea as such scene can quickly become cheesy and boring if not handled carefully.
Coming back to your point, considering their age and the orthodox ideas of naina's family the path they are decided to walk on is not going to be an easy one for them. But that's what love is about, to overcome all those challenges and enjoy the ride however bumpy it is as being in love makes you stronger and bolder.

Nice...

But mujhe toh sirf kissy aur jappi dikh rahi thi...par kooch nahin dikaya toh meine apne chote se brain pe zor daal ke imagine kar liya

aur upar se meine instalive wala ashi ka video dekha...where someone asked her if she had crush on Randeep, and she said no and than her facial expression completely changed...toh fir meine Randeep/Ashi ko imagine kar liya mere chote se cute cute brain se😃

What a wonderful take Minu...I never guessed from this side..but yeah, love stories themselves are complicated...its like the entire world looks at crushing them except for the two already in love..For Samaina, tons of things..social status, their parenting strategies and perspectives..all going to play major role

Nice in depth analysis Minu... and what you felt was on the lines of what the vo too pointed out... nothing is perfect and nith8ng comes easy... they have a lot to face and handle before they are together for the entire life... be it family...society or whatever... 😳
But actually I felt it wasn't a cage...if we see... they were just bars... and the girl Naina who is shying away everytime... for her to confess he had to block her way and it had to be from 3 sides... 4 sided to hug ho jaata😉

So they could have shown a wall or closed door or window grills... so wall or a door would have been old used formulae... they used grills... which made the scene all the more intense and romantic... this is what I felt😳

I don't know whether you'll take this or not... but the way their love has flourished despite being under so many limitations so far... I'm sure they'll come out of every hurdle in their path of love as well😃

you are absolutely right. it's commendable that you kept your head through the confession magic!😆
yes. they are caged. neither she nor he is free to accept each other in front of the world. as his voice over said earlier, " abhi bahot padav baki the" their respective families are going to be first and biggest hurdle in their union.
but they will be free one day...the way they left the cage and then just enjoyed themselves and each others' company.

nice post as it gives another prospective to the whole confession scene... i take it as though there will be hurdles and barriers Sameer will always be there to protect Naina from all the sides and make her move forward...
