I am confused..what was the purpose

What was the purpose of this drama in today's episoe?

First of all completely agree with u there has to b OK episodes...so that v get best episodes!!!
Bt today was a bit of over drama...abt making arjun rakesh the villain...they already Wer this high voltage drama was nt required...bt I guess this was just to tell Agarwal that it was Nanu bcz of which this marriage gt fixed!!!
N abt the precap I cn understand...they showed naina will hv to choose one...bt later on it will b Sam who will stand still and wins arjun and rakesh heart...he wnt let naina choose between any one...n in extreme situation he will telk naina to b with rakesh arjun

This drama will.link to future track I guess and now I really really hope Rakesh gets to know both things about Arjun..the paper stealing and he faking sitting on the chair..not sure how...unless arjun confeses to someone and Rajesh hears...but it should... their hooliganism is getting on my nerves now

Nancy... I agree... a petty poorly laid out episode if the intention was to draw battle lines

Clearly the aim was to make the pathway difficult for the Sameer Naina relationship but was it necessary to show Rakesh purposely scalding Sameer...it made no sense at all.. I agree Rajesh is a toxic character but they were building up his character traits rather well..even today they could have managed it without resorting to this churlish nay obnoxious behaviour from his end..Quite simply, the MIL could have misunderstood the exchange between Rakesh and Sameer... and the same result would have been achieved without the nonsensical drama. Writers!! Use your grey matter!!!

As for Arjun... I still hold out hope...I can still see where Arjun's anger against Sameer is... it's the Naina-Sam angle that is making him uncomfortable but unfortunately the writers haven't been able to clearly delineate the anger from his helplessness... There was a hint of it in the small scene when he tells his father not to bother while offering to give Sam the coffee..they used the Head boy dialogue but I could still see it as a form of his wanting to build grievances against Sam for the Naina issue. Also, the CVs should have showed Arjun getting a whiff of the overtures from Sam to Naina ( which might still happen in Tommo' epi.. I want Arjun Sam confrontation to occur due to that rather than only the Rakesh angle..

the purpose was to show what you give others comes back to you... it was rakesh's own karma which came to bite him... he purposely threw hot coffee on sameer...

I said the same thing in another post. I keep wondering what was that and why.
