As for me...I can only watch love story genre on TV...i consider it a difficult medium to remain relevant and this genre though based on a simple emotion has the most complex challenges so I am attracted to content largely. I give a serial at the most a week or so to make up my mind if I can continue watching and most serials i cast away simply by reading the blurb 😉

I am much older than you all here...I was 18 in 1990 so you guys can imagine😆

I have followed IPK1 and EDKV on TV before this...never bothered with others so some may have shown promise but I feel I can spot satyanash from a distance😆 so I don't associate if the writing does not impress me.

I had watched promos...of the show but I did not really tune in thinking that it must be just a case of nostalgia...considering how difficult it is to weave a story that too in the past. So wasn't that keen. My first episode was about Naina finding that she had to cut her hair and the shenanigans associated with it but while it was nice and funny...I did not tune in again immediately. I think the first episodes that I started to notice while surfing was when Naina was getting into La La land about Sameer. Something about the narration caught my attention and I was hooked...No doubt Ashi and Randeep are a big reason for my interest in how well they essay their roles but also common to the other two serials I watched earlier was the fabulous ensemble cast and their performances. I tune in for the love story and I look at all those around as Cupids...but these Cupids like Rakesh and Taiji in the story are wonderful...even if exasperating at times. So this is the thing that got me started...and my kid is totally smitten with this story too 😆😆

Wow, you are really from 90's time. Glad to know that.
Good to see YUDKBH is loved by you.

Have been watching since day 1. Saw the promos albeit a bit late here in USA. The background score is so mesmerizing. Certain portions reminded me of my crush in school ..like aju baju baithna ,the phone number ka milna. Total nostalgia . I dont belong to 90s but some things never change be it any generation..😊😉

Great that you too are watching from day 1.😳
Yeah, even many of us are not from 90's, yet we love it for the nostalgic vibe. Who does not love to reminisce the school days!

Your story is awesome..

Before watching this show I never used to watch TV serials, it's being long time I watch any show properly. I completely lost interest from TV serials.
My many friends told me about this show but I completely ignored them and determine to not watch any Indian tele shop.
But one twist come, my mother was watching KBC in between YUDKBH advertisement come and at that moment I fall in love with this show. And cover up in 2 days 30 or 34 episode. To watch it on TV

Wow your story is wonderful Laizu(if I may call u that)
Well my story...
I had read an article on IF that a show is coming up based in the 90's and they had put up the first promo as well...

I was attracted and thought I will keep a tab when it comes and will watch it...

It's since last 4 years or so I have not been watching any Hindi tv show...as I felt it was all crap...😆

Then after a few days I forgot about this completely...
Then one of my other forum friend mentioned that I am watching this new show YUDKBH and it's lovely so I remembered again and asked her the details about when it started and what is the time..

Still it took me a few more days to actually tune in and watch...

Though in between I had got a glimpse of the chewing on hair scene when I was randomly switching the channels and saw that scene and changed not realizing this is the same show...

I think I started from ep 9 or 10 and quickly saw all the episodes and then continuing still...

I did mention about the show to my cousins but sadly they all are too busy and due to late timing of the show they can't watch..

And me being a90's kid I totally relate to the show.

Thank you Anmol. 😊
Your story is intriguing too.

It is really a big change for someone like you who never used to watch any tv serials. ⭐️
One advertisement of YUDKBH changed it. From that we can understand how impactful our show is. 👍🏼

And kb_always_96 is right. Your fast pace gave him/her really a competition. 😆
(S/he watched 70 episodes in 3 days.)

Sure, you can call me Laizu. Coz, that's my name. 😆
What's your name, may I know?😛
I think I have seen you earlier in DMG and Qubool Hai forum.
I watched those shows til Armaan and first Asad was there. Loved the characters. Oh, old days. 🤪 Old is gold. ⭐️

That's why we love YUDKBH. It has the old vide. Isn't it.😉

Your story is nice too. Thanks for sharing.
You were not too late like many of us. You got it from episode 9 or 10.
Its sad that your cousins can't watch it. They are missing it.
The timing is good for me. I am ok with it. 😛
