I felt vishaka was a worst mother but her questions to sam made me to think what made her to become like this.

I wish sam openly express his loneliness to her mom may b she would have understood his situation but I guess she never gave space n tried to understand him.

Seriously she left him after paper stealing issue n not even called him once but achanak tapak padi.Agar itni hi fikar hai mount abu mein sam ko milne kyu nehi gyi?

One thing both sam n vishaka should understand that no matter how good or how bad "ma tho ma hai chahekuch bhi jaye"."Beta tho beta hai chahe vo kina bhi shaitan kyunahu".

According to her she has put in lots of efforts but never did she bothered to ask her son what is it that he wants?

He just needs her presence and her love and affection 😳

She failed as a mother totally 😡

In one word - NO! If by efforts she meant sending him to expensive boarding schools and paying the fees I say no. If by efforts she means the generosity of her husband in allowing her to pay the said fees, I say no. If by efforts she expects a return of her investment by getting Sameer to become her husband's blind follower like herself, then definitely no! If by efforts she meant she expected Sameer to turn into a clone of her step son, then another resounding no! She is a failure as a mother to Sameer. She may have aced as a step mother but failed miserably as a biological mother.

Vishakha wants Sameer to make efforts n fit in her criteria of a son..but she herself won't make any efforts for her son.. so-called mother
