Hi all, I have been a silent member here for quite sometime now; but if I do not speak today, it will be a disservice to the exceptionally beautiful and deeply moving episode today..

Just like a few others here.. words fail me too. I started on the show a month back and immediately felt a deep resonance with it. And today, when 30 minutes of sheer magic transcended ITV standards, I could only weep..

Weep when Sameer, a young 17 year old discard of unworthy parents, for the first time felt what it feels like to be appreciated.. Weep when, the angel of a girl cleverly played him into reciting his poem.. and weep, when she too in the end, had moist eyes.. clapping the loudest of all.. for her Sameer..
What writing! what performances! What magic! I died and went straight to the heaven that was 90's.

That two innocent kids barely out of their teens could yank at my heartstrings so, was unfathomable to my 2000's tech blinkered heart. The innocence with which they shared their deepest thoughts, their shared joys, their snatched moments of teasing, catching a glimpse of each other's souls in which lay entwined their eternal bliss - so deeply moved me. And it struck me, this was us, our innocence and dreams and life right before us. We see ourselves in Sameer and Naina.. we are Sameer and Naina.. and the moment the audience becomes one with the characters, we know that something truly magical and unprecedented is unfurling on our screens.

In today's age of BS of romance on TV in terms of eye lock, trip and fall and pieces of cloth flying, today's epi of Un Dino needs to be shared with all production houses and studio heads as a lesson in how innocence and platonic can evoke collective yearning in the audience and drench them in the sheer sanctity of pure love!

If nothing else, I know that I have watched this gem on ITV and am deeply thankful to the PH, CVs and actors for bringing us such a wonderful show that is so full of heart.. sahi kahan hai kisine.. aakhir un dino ki baat hi kuch aur thi! ❤️

Well written Santi. You know we all are feeling the same .You shd write more here.

Me too. I simply can't understand why viewers in India prefer regeressive saas bahu dramas? Whydo those regressive shows have such high TRP? Since I left India long long ago, I am really at a loss to udnerstand it. In 90s we had such good quality shows...anyways...I am glad Shashi Sumeet came up with this and Sony agreed to show it. So thanks to them.

I live in Australia and every morning I check the live update of this magical show. For this serial,I am just so sad that I am not able to contribute towards the TRP. I have told so many of my relatives in India to watch this on tv but they say it comes so late. I fail to understand why sony is telecasting this entire family appropriate serial after some adult content based serials like Haasil,EDT. I love the innocence and authenticity of this show.just love everything about this.

Thank you all for such a warm welcome here.. ❤️
The other beautiful thing that comes out of such powerful shows is the friendships that happen so organically in the forum, with other like minded folks. Look forward to connecting with you all here..

And ah.. yes! One more thing ( I swear, am not aping Steve Jobs here.. 😛), I totally agree with what some of you have said here about feeling sad for the non watchers of the show.. alas! unke 'bhagya' mein aisi baat hi nahi hai shayad 😉
