Naina Aggarwal is an open book that's often overlooked.
Being a class topper and well natured girl, people are quick to judge her as someone burdened by rules and living by instructions. She has the tag "padaku" but unlike even her brother who studies out of compulsion or fear, Naina is never shown to worry about the labour of studying, she is naturally intelligent and curious and learning comes easy to her. Though hailing from a strict family she happily dances around her circle of freedom, slipping in and out per will. She has immense confidence in herself and believes she can pave out a way for every wish if made with pure intentions. This is what shines through her personality and is probably the first glimpse of her true soul that an observer notices when they pay enough attention. Everything about her, her perfected art of balancing family, friends, academics and entertainment is all out in plain vision for anyone who wish to see. But this wonder of an openbook she is, is unfortunately overlooked by most people in initial interactions.
Sameer Maheswari on the other hand is a visually enchanting book, with a well decorated, appealing yet misrepresenting cover design. He puts out an outward personality that appeals to his peers. His boyish charms, laid back attitude and self conviction of "changing like the wind" is all a mere defense mechanism to protect the insecure love-bereft child that hides within the inner pages. He has always maintained this facade of confidence and managed to keep the edges of this mask hidden from the onlookers.
In yesterday's episode, Sameer noticing this apparently new side of Naina through the Chudail prank and Naina chancing upon Sameer's Diary marked an important milestone in thier story.
They had the first glimpse of eachother's soul.
And thats the point where this teenage romance transcended into a mature love. From here there is no turning back.
With the upcoming heartbreak a lot may change for Naina, the storm of rage could wipe out any ounce of attraction, inclination and affection in her heart. The guilt trip that Sameer may go into can haunt him with self doubt, questioning the authenticity of the array of emotions tied to her.
But Genuine care is something thats immune to any storm or turmoil, they cannot just will to not care for the other no matter the circumstances. This care has already anchored in their heart and so there is no going the separate way for these two. A possibility of love triangle has never been out of discussion in their story but I believe they donot have eyes for anyother anymore.
