he has fallen for her...I think it is when she said "Kya mein tumhein pyar se dantun"..till then he appreciated her qualities..this is when he felt she was doing something for him to make him happy ...

Again regarding Naina not realizing Sameer's intention...as you said is because when he is with her...he is a different person altogether...even today he didn't want them to remind him of the bet ...he wanted to enjoy the moment with her...the way he entered the bus and was looking at her...I don't think it was for bet...and his anger when the others mentioned abt his hair and the bet...his irritation was very obvious...I don't think its bet anymore...and he has realized it too

And yeah we've seen in the last few episodes, how Sameer is genuinely concerned about her and her family- the scooter repair- ye unki family ka hissa hai- he confesses his feelings to Nanu sometimes without realizing...when one day when Sameer requested Nanu's help for Pooja di's rishta- Nanu said wo Naina, achi ladki hai, tez bhi hai...tere jaise buddhu ke liye ekdum sahi hai...Sameer doesn't protest n say it's not Naina...

And then the night before the trip, he decides he's going to stay away from love and Naina. That was an indication that Sameer knows he's falling for her- he accepted it but then didn't want to get into it for the fear of getting hurt.

And wahi film jisme wo cute si lakdi hoti hai, 2 choti banake school jaati hai...padhaku si...🤣😳 wo ladka jiske baal udte hain, bike chalata hai, piche piche ladki cycle pe aati hai- Sameer's expressions! Classic! He was blushing n smiling.
