..that one scene wher he silently keeps his hand..blesses her partial heartedly seemingly..diagreeing in his own head..fighting the fact silently that she saved the enemys kin...but then it was a good deed so it won his heart,,,,naina won his heart...he was silent but the way he acted with no dialogues..BRILLIANT👏 what a beautiful piece of writing so much said even tho not a single dialogue there..so effective..very good direction...gosh this show even side actors r splendid👏

He is defenetely a good actor...

Sometimes actions speaks volume and that o e so how touch of comfort from her father was enough for naina to forget all her pains...

Yeah, that scene was very subtle and emotional. Somehow I have always felt there is a back story to Rakesh's behavior. He is not that bad person. Maybe Naina's mother's death made him like this. He is alone in life and has noone to share his pain which he shows through anger.

That one scene was so impactful...i couldn't believe that it was him😲

But I too believe that there is another side to him which would be shown later...he is an irritating person but definitely might have a back story as a reason behind this 😛

That scene was awesome... And both Naina Rakesh sir did great job...

He was guilty for not trusting his daughter that was evident on his face and proud at her deed... That's why he blessed her silently.

I don't understand why people think Naina's dad is a bad person or something or that his behaviour with Naina is something unusual.

In those days 90% of the dad's maintained some distance with the daughters with only talking when need arriving. Very few lucky girls (like me) had the bliss the f talking everyday to our dads. Even my neighbours and classmates sometimes got surprised the way I was free with Papa, and I am talking of 1997-98 (not even 90) but that doesn't mean they didn't love their daughters it's just that back then the way of expression of love was different

I knew you would give the example of chacha ji but they have shown him to be very advanced

I think he is frustrated as both his brothers are in good posts and he is a librarian (not even a teacher as he generally claims. )But excluding that all his behaviour is completely normal
