Right now, I would rather be Sameer's friend! Sameer has his faults - especially his arrogant attitude when it comes to girls. But if there is one thing he is good at, it's being a friend. He's always looking out for Munna and Pandit and he doesn't look at them differently just because he is a rich boy. Also, he didn't finish the play properly and got scolded just because he knows his friend likes the girl.
On the other hand, Naina has been treating her friend quite poorly. She knows very well that Swati also has a crush on Sameer, but instead of telling her that Sameer and herself are good friends, Naina just keeps trying to manipulate Swati away from Sameer. Did she forget that Swati was the one who lied for her to get to Sameer's party?? What I really didn't like is that she literally kept trying to steal the poor girl's role in the play - just because she wanted to be with Sameer! Naina was already silly enough to give away such an important role, and then she barges in to the room to ask to be Juliet one day before the play. She even put her friend into trouble (telling the tcr she didnt do her work) just to stop her from coming to the play! Pandit was also so sad that Sameer had to kiss Swati, but he never tried to sabotage his friend's role...Naina needs to learn from him! Instead of wishing her friend all the best, she just sat outside and cried away...sigh. I think Naina needs to learn to be a good friend to Swati before being a friend to Sameer.
