One confusion regarding the keys

naina's father did say to tayji, that he has replaced the lock after the duplicate key fiasco ..naina's bro had old key's duplicate, so now that he has given that in place of new one, I assume he doesn't know that lock is replaced. If this is a blooper or will her dad find out in this way that indeed paper was stolen by his son.

Naina's father was looking for the old keys. In the scene where Sameer asks Naina why she backed out from being Juliet. Naina's father enters and asks Naina "library ki purani chaabhi dekhi hai tumne?"
