Hey I am very happy with the 90s track of pure romance and all but I really didn't like that beating by teacher
He hit one with a duster, hit Sameer wit him scale so many times and another guy on his hips
I mean it's insane, I know I'll get all replies ki tab aisa hi tha but still they could have avoided this thing, it makes everyone especially negative people who might still do such stuffs that students can be taken for granted like hell
It's completely my point of view 😊

The entire scene had relevance to story, how naina, though angry still felt bad for him, she how had started lieing for him, was strict with him today,

duplicate key she exposed as her dad was being in trouble. but today she did as she felt let down about samir stealing the paper.

This was needed to show the change in dynamics b/w them ...

It isn't exactly regressive- perhaps is in today's politically correct world, but back then it was pretty normal.

As the VO said, teachers then had full licence to do what they deemed fit in order to get their message across to the students.

Today's teachers fear the students, back then it was the other way around 😆

I don't agree with you..i see where you are coming from. But not showing something beacuse it is problematic in fiction is not an answer. This happened and as someone said it had relevance to the story. Besided the VO did that it is good thing that this stopped, acknowledging that beating students was wrong but was taken for granted in those days.

Sorry but I don't agree...
Haven't we all had beatings on the knuckles and scales..
Y not show the students of today what importance teachers held in those days unlike today.

Today's students should know how easy they have it compared to us. They are showing what happened those days so this was completely relevant to the show. I see these scenes and think how much we have progressed over the years in how we behave and look at things.
