- Dil mera todo na by Alisha Chinoy really adds to that college feel and juxtaposed well against Sameer and his friends walking down the corridor and shooting daggers at Naina, and after the friends gang up on Naina to joke about the oil in her hair. Then after Arjun leaves, Sameer and co reenter again and it feels like they're doing it just to try and make her feel uncomfortable.
- The fact that the food loving kid is nicknamed 'samosa' and Swati points out that even 'Samosa' teased her.
- Sameers friends demanding 'Samosa' to hand over the stolen samosas to them in such a casual way as if its the standard thing to do.
- The Kaurava v Pandava like situation in the canteen between the other gang and Sameer and his (probably foreshadowing the romeo and juliet situation of two rival sides that we may see if through the play) and the way his friends look out for Sameer.
- The way Sameer was getting up to follow Naina after hearing her conversation as if he was going to give her a piece of his mind. Then he is blocked by the desperate looking girls who offer him some food which in turn is chucked to the floor 'accidentally' by Swati! Who unknowingly sticks up for her friend.
- Sameer about to threaten the gang teasing him and being restrained by his friends who tell him to control his anger as he is in a vulnerable position already and the blame leads back to Naina.
- Finally the hopscotch scene, the change in tone from light-hearted music to the romantic one that we have come to associate closely to Sameer indicating that Sameer is nearby.
