I too wish i could see gold spot in school canteen.. Steel lunch boxes to ab hardly koi le jaata hai.. 90s were so much fun.. Cant forget we going gaga over maine pyar kiya and QSQT..

Kissme toffee glued on love letter.. Cheesy kiddo stuff back then.. Lol.. But that toffee sucked in taste..

u can really feel like Naina while watching this show.. us age mein jaisa lagta tha.. Darr to lag raha hai par maza bhi bahut aa raha hai 😆😆

Heyyy Pals, long time indeed! How've you been?🤗...Nice to see folks from the NBT forum here :)

@bold: WORD...haha exactly...when we were living through it all, tab sach mein thoda darr lagta tha...but ek mazaa bhi tha...and ab nostalgia mein aur amusement bhi hai😆...I'm so glad they picked Sadia Siddiqui for the voiceover...such a PLEASANT voice she has...itni warmth and bemused sa charm in it.

The school uniforms and those white canvas shoes...hahaha takes me back, man.

Yesterday when Sameer came to school in maruti 800 ,everyone were looking at him with so much surprise and shock like they had seen the car for first time.Maruti 800 was a luxurious car at that time.Aaj kal koi puchhta tak nahi 😆

LOL exactly...tab ek Maruti car hona badi baat thi...now no one even knows it exists...I have sooo many memories of the whole family piling into a Maruti car, chhote bacche sitting in badon ki godis and all going for a trip somewhere😆...such a small car was a big deal then...and now we are surrounded by innumerable big cars...hard to tell one from the other...when we had less options, we felt the value of what we had.

I am good dear.. 😊 watched some shows meanwhile but couldn't make it to the forum 😆

You are right about Sadia voiceover.. She really has perfect modulation for this and one can actually imagine the expressions/emotions in narration.. ⭐️

Let see how long this show runs with good content.. Otherwise sony is famous for pulling the plug.. Watched bade bhaiya ki dulhania show from day 1 and suddenly they shut it down.

Oh yes the nostalgia its bringing all the memories back
What a decade was 90s ahaa.

But they did a slight loopholes by using led in one of the ep probably in the nainas room umm

There was no use of led in 90s

Other wise a big thumbs up.to the show

Sameer exactly looks like young salman and naina suman

Hello out there.. I m sadiya..
Finally a good content on TV to watch and relate to..
I was so shocked to see naina and sameer scenes co its very much like my own love story. It was as if someone is showing my story.
I too met my love during school days, he too was a new student just like sameer and i was asked to help him out with the notes..
I loved naina stealing glances at sameer,
And when the teacher called out naina, sameer glanced at her.. It was so cute

Aww thanks for sharing all your memories too...there is just SO much material to go back to, haina? Ahh Gold Spot...and CAMPA COLA😆

PCO pe baat karna kitni badi baat hoti thi...you had to make an effort for it...aaj kal with the convenience of having a phone right at your fingertips has somehow taken away the value of conversation with a loved one.

Completely agree with your last line...the information overload has killed all that feeling of hope in the air.

indeed. SO much of material to go back too. so many lanes and bylanes of old nostalgia era.

Campa cola😆. i miss gold spot. Mazaa/frooti still lives on. so does parle.
washing powder Nirma (i bet you read that in tune).

@bold. beautifully said.
someone's birthday.. wish them on Wattsapp in herd mode now.
and then there was time people used to put time, effort and heart to buy Archies greeting cards and all. those good old letters. inland letters and envelopes.
this serial is truly a trip to memories bylanes. precious nostalgia.

Information overload. negativity, pessimism - sky is falling syndrome. Chain se sona hai toh jaagte raho😆.
watching news channel you will think world is ending tomorrow. and some SNS portals makes you wish world should end tomorrow.

YUDK brings in the 'happy' waali feeling.

hahaha yes! "Dhoop si safedi Nirma se aaye, rangeen kapda bhi khil khil jaaye...sabki pasand NIRMA"🤣...I can probably recite this in tune even on my deathbed😆

Aww Archies! *sigh* So many hours spent choosing cards and gifts from there...even little knick knacks bought from saved up pocket money...or those classic posters with quotes on them...everything felt special.

Hey guys.. New here but a fan of Ye Un Dinon.. i don't watch serials much so i don't know whose voice is in the voiceover but I feel there's way tooo much of it. The voice is so loud..and so forced. They should've just used Naina's voice instead.

I absolutely adore Naina and Sameer and the whole school part but stuff at her home is so unrelatable to me. I don't ever remember any friend's mom speaking to their kids the way Chachi speaks to both her daughters. It's so annoying. And Taiji...ohh My God... unbearable. So undignified. She keeps embarrassing Naina so much, i can't help but wish her character dead. A friend of mine had lost her mother in 90s and she had a step mom... I'm sure she wasn't exactly an angel but she sure was dignified and polite.

Apart from that, it's lovely to watch. Naina should play FLAMES...I know I did every time I had a new crush. :D Also, I keep waiting for Sameer to sort of respond to Naina with that specific glance that we all got from our highschool sweethearts but he really is oblivious to her feelings...Sucksss :(

brought a huge smile upon my face (though that toffee used to taste horrible).

that salman khan long hair style for men. i laughed so much remembering old days where our strict school teacher grabbed literally grabbed the long locks of my guy friends and ordered.
"Salman khan ho ya sanjay dutt? bal katwake aana kal".

rati agnihotri poster. wish they would bring in gold spot too.

toothpaste .. my lovely aunt used to run belan over comatose and dead toothpaste to get the last drop of paste out of it.

pocha.

a single phone for entire mohalla.

PCO.. different timings and prices accordingly and waiting in line.

nostalgia.

that line: hawaa mein ummeed.
SO true. world feels like humanity going to hell in handcart feels now. (banning 24/7 news channels and most SNS sites will be great initiative to bring in some ... ummeed.).

Gold Spot was there as well, when Naina and Sameer were buying shoes, the shopkeeper tried to lure Sameer by saying that inke liye Gold Spot lao.
I was so excited to hear this name, Gold Spot was my favorite, didn't taste any other drink till as late as 96-97
