I still don't get why do they think introducing Hina as Komolika is gonna help with TRP.
To be frank, when they came up with the RAIL STATION PROMO & characters with exactly same names - they created the blunder right there.
Kasauti was definitely a very hit show & had amazing actors. I was practically a kid back then & can't even remember the story properly. In their forum, I read an old viewer's review where he/she pointed out certain facts that makes KZK 1 a progressive story in context of 2001-10 era.
But as usual, Ekta & co messed the story up & I can say for many of my generation, when we think about KZK 1, all we remember is a guy with 4 wives & a woman swinging like a pendulum between two men. Komolika is a brand & it's solely because of Urvashi.
Now in 2018, if they still come up with exactly same names & hype over Komolika's presence, sure a lot of people will be turned off from the beginning because I don't think any sane person would want to waste his/her time in a show to watch multiple marriage & all.
I think the best they could do was introduce completely new character with a different setup. Parth & Erica have their fans but I don't think if they stick to the original story, anything can save them from further disaster.
