Else it will be like pre YHM time when she almost faded away despite having resounding contribution in making SP no 1from 2000 to 2010. If KZK2 gets good response and backs it up for 2 months, YHM may end in December. Otherwise it will atleast remain on air till May/June next year.

That's a very funny logic you all have come out with.

For any show to be on - air , one needs good TRP and not some production house show needs to be on-air.

YHM was in TOP 5 when Parades and all came and went , so why would SP end a hit show even if the same production house other show is hit or flop.

And if that's the logic then why does the channel need to wait for KZK 2 response. Qayamat ki Raat - A balaji product is on - air and is getting good TRP's, so they should end YHM as the production house is associated with SP even after ending YHM.

No it's not funny
Bcz QKR is a finite weekend show. More importantly, it's trp is average despite being a prime time weekend show featuring supernatural genre and places at the bottom part of top 20. Since yhm can't even manage that, QKR trp looks more than decent.
Zodha Akbar was a top 10 show at the time of its off air but EK still ended it because KKB broke into top 5/10 by then. If any one of her last 3 big budget shows on SP had done that, she would do the same to YHM. Because, just like Jodha AKbar, EK & CO ran out of ideas in YHM too and would have preferred to shut it down. But her past experiences that I mentioned prevented it. She would certainly not have made a free pass for Gul Khan! It's all about hegemony and subsequent domination. Hope this hint will ring the bell.

Ramans anger and frustration and ishitas strong encouragement and actually physically holding him while he tried again...very very well.done..

Even if it's a small.scene..looking forward to watch it tomorrow..

And heck who says these 2 actors don't give their 100 percent in scenes...where it mattered there are no BDs and both of them are giving their fullest with their comfort level...
Even yesterdays scene where ishita lifted Raman..DT actually lifted KP up quite a bit and so was the case in the precap...

Also watched epis after a few weeks now and KP looks better than ever in these epis...whatever he is doing is working..leaner...fitter ..younger and fresher ...the hair and his clothes are good too...good change 😳😆

@bold this is what Pb, one should never ever question DivAn' s level of dedication to YHM...least interested about the off screen drama but when it comes to on screen. these two always give their 100%. Last few days they didn't shoot together, that's why the bds and people were panicking like anything. The cave episodes, this paralysis track and many other tracks even before this, these 2 have lifted these tracks solely by their acting and dedication and it shows on screen. They might not give selfies, IVs together but throw them in a well written scene together and they are pure magic which is more important than posing for the shutterbugs for me coz not every on screen couple, who apparently share great rapport off screen are not the same on screen.
@indent yes yes KP is looking so so handsome again, so much leaner and younger 😛😳

I know we aren't supposed to comment on other shows on this forum..
But purely from YHM being a BT product point of view...

Looking at the new promo and some opinions of those who watched the first show of the over hyped reboot ...all I can say is that ...while YHM 11pm was a big step forward for EK and gang...this show..Even if it succeeds ..Will be a huge step backwards...
While YHM moved towards realism ..natural settings ..real life urban issues and wit and boldness of scenes ..in 11pm YHM...this show is the exact opposite ...with a done to death theme...regressive outlooks..Sanjay leela bhansali type sets ..costumes and background music ...vamps lack of clothes getting more importance than the story...
It's like being transported back into the era of 2000s television where after a good few years of shows like shaanti...junoon..hasratein. .sailaab...Indian television plunged into it's most regressive phase...with the K dramas...
Most urban folk kept away while the older generation and tier 2- 3 towns became the target audience...

Yes it was entertaining...but at least not the kind of entertainment that spoke to the urban educated class...

Somehow after some good thought provoking and progressive shows ...And even decent love stories about typical urban couples and issues...like balh and YHM...BT is back to its old ways ...And for me it seems like s big step backwards...

May be the idea is that..capture the rural BARC ratings by giving that audience what they want...regressive stories with scheming vamps and actors with kilos of make up and jewellery...and loud BGs. .after all they already watch all those supernatural weird dramas happily ...
And if there is any good 'experimental' content..shift it to the web?...

YHM will then remain the only show that did the unimaginable and catered to both audiences..
Neither SP or BT might ever attempt it again...period...😕

Same thoughts plus the fact that both BALH and YHM had/has leads who have the power in them to please the audience in every category...not just decent looks but the talent to boast of too which I don't think every BT show has...

Yhm was an unique show
It had total urban touch

It had sense of sophistication not normally seen in tv shows

Here ppl were rich

But living likd how regular upper middle class ppl livd

Interactions were how normal ppl talk

Thst is what attracted to urban ppl who normally dis not watch shows to yhm

Thst is why trp was high at 11 pm

It still does have that touch beneath the drama

Mostly all of EK shows are either regressive or full of s*x. There are very few shows and web series which she experiments and make beautiful stories.

From past 10 days, I have started watching a new serial , Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka of EK which comes in Colors channel and I must say I got hooked by the character , Mauli - the wife, the real victim of this extra marital affair.

She is an independent woman and after she got to know about her husband's affair with her best friend, she did not scream, did OTT acting by dragging her bestie, etc - nothing of that sort.

As an independent women she asked the right questions to her husband and best friend and that too within the confines of her bedroom. She did not juggle even once and straight away went ahead with the divorce proceedings.

This is how extra marital affairs are dealt with in real life , and Sandeep Siikcand should watch and understand where did he go wrong in Aaliyah - Rossini's track and why did it receive so muck of slack from the audience.

Anyways , I dunno what is the TRP of that show but I must say even this serial is quite urban and sensible for now..

Ek definitely has that knack of creating good stories if she wants to but then she slowly wanders away in the quest away of running a show for long term and showing female lead as SuperWoman.

EK unfortunately is trying to compete with bollywood where Men are shown as Superman and so she has made women in telly industry as Superwomen but the problem is a movie is for 3 hours but a show is for many years and so equal importance needs to be devoted to both the genders working in the show otherwise it gets very unbelievable.
