Next morning, Raman woke up when a full jug of water was thrown on him by none other than his father, Mr Bhalla. He woke up with a jerk and looked around what’s happening only to see himself on the floor and wet all thanks to his father who was standing with an angry face while his concerned mother was about to come to him with a towel to wipe him but his hitler father didn’t let her to do so. His sister was also giving him angry looks. He remembered that he slept on the sofa last night then how he came on the floor then understood that it must be done by his father only to pour so much water on him without harming sofa, that non living thing is more important than his son for him, Raman thought to himself and got up slowly with acute headache. He was holding his head when he heard his father.
Mr B - May I ask you sir why are you sleeping in the hall like that?
He asked angrily while Raman regretted and mentally scolded himself for talking nonsense last night about Ishita and she heard him also, he was joking as per his point of view thinking she will not hear but unfortunately, she heard him and also got angry which was right from her side but if she would not had been angry with him, she would be the one to save from his father’s wrath, his father would never known that he drank, being punjabi, he didn’t had any problem with it but there should be no such consequences like last night and he guessed it that his father was not angry as he drank but he must had got to know that Ishita was angry and the reason behind it, seeing his sister there. He was thinking when his father asked him again to which Mrs Bhalla came to save him while his father scolded his mother for taking his side after knowing his acts, his father started scolding him while he just heard him looking down knowing well that he was at fault. His father told him to get an apology from Ishita as soon as possible and till then he will not be allowed in Bhalla house. He left followed by his mother and his sister. He went to his… their room only to see it empty, Ishita had already left for the office as it’s time for the office, he was late. He got a glass of lemon water on the table while his clothes and everything for the day was also ready. He made a sad face as he wanted the person who did all this not all these but he knew, he needed to do a lot of hard work to get her back this time. He drank the lemon water and then got ready for the office. Soon he left for the office thinking ways to rectify his mistake.
l knew who did all this, she made a stern face and left from there making Raman sad who was watching her through the camera. She went to Mihir’s cabin and asked him if she could sit there. He nodded without asking anything and she sat and started doing her work while Raman took all the bouquets from their cabin and came to inform her that he had cleared the cabin but she neither responded nor went to their cabin. Raman left and got busy thinking how to apologise to her.
At night, he was going to his house but the watchman told him that Mr bhalla ordered him not to let him come inside, Mrs Iyer took him to their house and served him dinner. After dinner, he went to the garden only to see it empty making him more sad and he thought that he didn’t get the chance to apologise to her like they used to do, making her sit on the swing and he used to apologise but he realised, this time he really hurt her very badly and he needed to do something out of the box. he wet to her room and started thinking how to apologise to her. Next day, he went to their cabin only to see her there sitting completely immersed in her work, he greeted her and she greeted him back but after that he only got her silence which was hurting him now. He got a call from Tarun to know if he could get an apology to which he denied and he told him to do it fast. He tried to give him suggestions but he denied saying he knew his madrassan more than anyone else.
That day passed with her silence. At night, all got to know that Ishita needed to go for a meeting to Bhopal the next day, everyone was concerned how she would go alone as she had a fear of planes but she told them that she was ok with that, she would go alone. Everyone was worried for her but Mr bhalla told that it’s her husband’s responsibility to take care of her more than anyone else and he would do it for her if he really concerned for her and he suggested that they should not involve it in, he was taking care of her till now and he would take care of her now also. Everyone agreed with him as they knew that his harshness always worked in a positive way.
Next day also passed with her silence, he was trying to talk to her to ask for an apology but she was completely ignoring him giving no chance to him. She had the flight in the evening, she was dropped by Mihir and Mihika at the airport. She was angry with him but she was expecting him beside her, she was feeling very bad, she was nervous due to her journey in the plane alone plus angry…. actually hurt by his words and behavior. She was feeling helpless but she was getting more angry at him as he was not around when she needed him. She was again and again looking around like she had strong belief in him that he would not leave her alone but sadly she didn’t find him. After waiting for a few hours, her flight was announced and she went with a heavy heart. She sat on her seat and was really very nervous and scared. She saw the pic of her whole family to get some strength. A lady sat beside her and asked if she was ok seeing her nervous, she smiled at her lightly and nodded in yes, she told her that she was nervous. Soon she closed her eyes tightly and after some time, the plane took off while she just remembered Raman and her family during it. After some time, she realised that the plane was flying in the sky and she slowly opened her eyes, she realised that her fear reduced and she was feeling better, she was a little bit scared but not that much like she used to be earlier. She got happy and thought her idea of travelling alone and remembering her family’s encouraging words really helped her. She was happy and looked at the lady beside her happily saying that she had overcome her fear but was shocked and surprised to see Raman sitting beside her smiling fully looking at her like he was happier than her. She was about to tell him happily but then remembered everything and made a stern face. She saw Raman doing a gesture of thank you to someone and looked in the direction only to see the same lady and found her sitting with her husband who showed him a thumbs up. Raman looked at her but she looked away. He smiled at her and was happy that finally she could overcome her fear, he thought of a proverb “whatever happens is for good”, he thought that him making her angry also proved somewhere good for them. Thinking so he just smiled looking at her. She felt his gaze and found him smiling looking at her, she got angry that he didn’t care if she was angry at him or not, when she very well knew why he was smiling and told him to look away, she is not a public view. He looked away congratulating her for overcoming her fear. Soon both got busy reading some magazines…..
