This exactly is my problem with the show currently. They just don't consider the age that they themselves have increased with leaps after every 6 months. They seriously don't have the brains to even know their own brain capacity. Before they took that suicidal leap of 7 years n brought in this new generation, they should have already known that their pea sized brains shall not be able to think beyond biwi bache n blouse n the related gandagi. They should have known that their such very limited creativity won't suit the age of the leads that they are planning to show. They do not have brains to think something new n show something new about the middle-aged couple. But they fail to realise the limitations of their brains as well...so much brainless people!!! This age is a very convenient factor for them. When they have to give an excuse for no romance between IshRa, they are saas sasur, but otherwise they are subjected to a treatment that not even a youngster deserves. They just don't have a sense of age of their characters!

Raman is old enough to become a dadaji but young enough to have a pretend affair with gf (I puke) n get trapped in something as cheap as mms n get slapped by his father

Ishita is old enough to be Ishimaa of the whole universe but young enough to be thrown out of her own house by her in-laws time n again...something that's done with a new bahu generally

IshRa are old enough to not have romantic moments but young enough to still fight over their children even after all these years of marriage n separate at the drop of the hat n then play stupid jealousy n possessiveness n insecurity games

Ruhi is old enough to be a businesswoman n already have 2 affairs but young enough not to be able to take a firm stand for her parents n do something substantial for the family...for a change when she talks some sense, she is told not to try behave elder than her age...really is she?

Nahi soch paa rahe affairs ki gandagi se upar kuch toh revoke all the leaps or reincarnate IshRa and then show the non-sense in their younger age...it will be at least less disgusting!
