Next morning, ishita, mihir, simmi, Rinki, adhiraj wake up early while rest of them were not waking up so simmi forcefully wake up them and took them from Iyer house while adhiraj left for his house. Only ishita stayed back in name of some work but in reality, she stayed back to clean the whole house herself as it as the first time that non veg and alcohol came in Iyer house. She completed all this then she took bath again, did puja and finally she felt satisfied and left for bhalla house for Mahendi function in afternoon which went well. Whole day ishita and rinki helped toshiji in preparation and to manage guest while shagun was busy within herself only, just sometimes tried to show that she is very dutiful and a nice girl.
Next day evening, everyone got ready for Sangeet.
Raman & Romi were already at the venue to see preparations and welcome Simmi and adhiraj by themselves. Simmi & adhiraj were the first to enter in the hall, Raman & Romi welcomed them by showering rose petals firstly on the path for them & then on them when they walked over it. Ishita & Rinki were walking behind Simmi & as soon as Raman's eyes fall on her he was completely lost in her beauty for some time then composed himself. Soon relatives and guests started coming. Shagun too came along with her mother wearing a decent dress to be in good looks of Bhallas to which her friends said,
Friend-Wow Shagun, seems you are changing before marriage.
Shagun-change and me, no way. Shagun doesn't change for anyone. It just for few days to make Raman believe that I'm a good girl and will be a good daughter in law also. He was upset with my looks last night so I thought to wear something decent. Once I get married to Raman, I will live my life as per my choice.
They continued their conversation while Raman who was worried thinking of Shagun's looks for the Sangeet, got relieved seeing her in a decent dress but his eyes were again and again going on Ishita who was busy with Simmi. Soon the sangeet ceremony started. First few dancers presented some performances then the some relatives and friends. Then finally family started dancing. First their parents and Raghu uncle danced together on the stage on the song "Punjabi wedding song. Then Shagun came and danced on the song "Dilbar and her moves made Bhallas, Iyers and Adhiraj's family not so happy while rest of the family, who didn't knew who is she, thought her as a performer. Almost everyone were gossiping calling her a dancer which Bhallas also heard but didn't tried to correct at the time. In between Shagun tried to reach Raman but he didn't give her any chance. Next performance was a group dance from Ishita, mihir, Romi, Rinki, Raman and Shagun, they were supposed to dance making three pairs but Raman told Shagun not to perform with him right now saying,
R I thought to dance with you so that everyone got to know that you are my would be fiance but you spoiled everything. What was the need to dance like that? Now all relatives and guests think that you are a performer and I don't want to spoil my sister's sangeet anymore. So you are not performing with me.
Shagun But they will get to know about me after few days so...
R So you want me to spoil Simmi's sangeet function. You had already spoiled their mood, but now you just stay away from us and don't you dare to come in front of me till this function.
Shagun left from there frustrated while Romi asked now who will be your partner to which he said that he don't want to dance now and asked them to continue. He was going when Ishita stopped him and said that it will not look good if he will not dance in her own sister's function so he should dance. Mihir also said that he can dance in place of him with Rinki. Romi and Rinki too insisted him and he finally got ready but Rinki called one of her friends who knew the steps and they all look were ready for dance with little changes in their partner. Ishita was supposed to dance with Romi but Rinki's friend, Shivani denied to dance with Raman so new pairs were Romi-shivani, Rinki-Mihir and Raman-Ishita. Finally all were on the floor dancing. Ishita and Raman were in the middle. They danced together on the song "Gallan gudiya and had a few eyelocks in between. Simmi's mood was now changed, all her anger and spoiled mood after Shagun's dance went away. She was admiring Ishra sitting with Adhiraj .
Simmi Haye main mar jawan. Kitni soni lag rhi hai inki jodi, nazar na lage kisi ki. Matarani kuch chamatkar karde aur us shagun ki jagah Ishita aa jaaye meri bhabhi bankar mere ghar.
Adhiraj- What are you talking Simmi? Raman aur Ishita?
Simmi Why not? Dekho sath mein kitne ache lag rhe hai.
Adhiraj Vo to hai. But Raman to Shagun se pyaar...

Simmi Main bhai ki choice ache se Janti hu, aur vo jo bar bar kahte hai na ki Shagun mein vo talent hai jo jab tumhe pta chalega to tum bhi use pasand karegi. I'm sure something is wrong. But I can see Bhai also started liking Ishita.
Adhiraj Raman ko pyaar ho bhi jaaye Ishita se but what about Ishita. Maine aaj usse Itne salo bad enjoy karte huye Dekha hai but this is not that Ishita which I knew earlier. This one is fake. Vo meri bhot achi dost hua karti thi, itna to jaanta hu. Vo bahar se strong hai but uske andar bhot se raaz hai. Jis din uske sahan karne ki shamta khatm ho jaayegi us din vo apne sare dard bahar nikalegi aur pta nhi mujhe kyu lagta hai ki tum logo ki presence se yeh bhot jaldi hone wala hai. So aisa kuch mat karna ki usse takleef ho because she had suffered a lot from childhood.
Simmi nodded in yes thinking of his words. At the other hand guests assumed that Ishita is the one with whom Raman is going to engage as it was not mentioned in her invitation card. All were talking that they look good together while a few were thinking how can it be possible as Ishita had always denied them for marriage. After their performance, it was Simmi and Adhiraj's turn to dance, both danced on the song "Tenu leke main jawan first and then a sweet couple dance on "Humsafar song which later joined by Mihir-Ishita and Rinki-Raman and a few more couples around the bride and groom as Romi and Rinki got some naughty idea. After sometimes, Romi called for changing their partner and Rinki moved towards Mihir while Ishita moved to Raman, now Ishra were dancing together. Raman was looking at her only while she was least interested and was seeing here and there but not him, She was uncomfortable as she had heard few talking about them. Soon the danced ended. Raman was lost in her and was still holding her while Ishita got embarrassed and forcefully made him to leave her. He felt embarrassed as many were looking at them and left her saying sorry. Function was about to end but Adhiraj came on stage gaining everyone's attention,
Adhiraj I know all performances are done and you all must be thinking why I'm here suddenly. So I'm here to ask for a gift on my sangeet from my childhood friend.
All looked at him confused while Ishita saw him looking at her and understood that she is the only one who is his childhood friend here and what gift he can ask. She shook her head in negative with a pleading face while he smiled and announced,
Adhiraj She is none other than the most eligible Bachelorette of Delhi, a successful businesswoman and my friend, Ishita Iyer. Many of us know that she is a very good singer so Ishita I want you to sing a song on my sangeet function. Please, my sangeet function is incomplete without your beautiful singing. Please it's a request, for our friendship.
He said making a pleading face while the guests, who knew Ishita and her singing well, started hooting for her to sing. Bhallas were surprised to know about it. Simmi, Rinki and Romi too started requesting. Finally she agreed and went to stage. Adhiraj gave her mike saying, "Hope it will bring some changes in your life for good. She got confused. Soon she was standing with Mike and a few people with music instruments. All were eagerly waiting and finally she started singing,

Ishita first denied but he requested again and again and she agreed seeing the situation but she could sense something fishy in his behaviour and thought to ask him later. He left while Ishita sat with a guitar in her hands and started singing,

She completed the song with much difficulty as she always remembered her father while singing this song while all other eyes also got teary. She composed herself soon and left from there. Everyone were just praising her. At the other side, Raman just came running to Hall but didn't find the person who sing the song. He saw Adhiraj and Simmi were on stage while rest were busy with guests so he went to them. Adhiraj saw him and could feel him restless. He asked him but he denied saying nothing and asked,
R Abhi Ishita ke bad yeh gaana kisne gaya tha?
Simmi gave him confused look while he continued,
R Shagun ne gaya tha na? See I told you na she has superb talent. Now you get to know that...
Simmi Bhai bhai wait. What are talking? Ishita ke bad kisi ne nhi gaya hai aur shagun... Are you for real? Shagun ke pass koi talent nhi hai except spa and late night parties.
Adhiraj Simmi one second, wait. Raman, no one other than Ishita sang the songs.
R She sang the last song also?
Adhiraj nodded in yes while Simmi was confused with his behaviour and asked what happened to which Raman said nothing and left composing himself. He went out of Hall and the song was playing in his mind again and again. At the other side Shagun and her mother along with her friends were sitting in a corner and watching the all drama including how Ishra danced together two times, what everyone thought of them and Bhallas didn't try to correct them, then all requesting Ishita and her singing and then all praising. Shagun was getting irritated and angry on them, mostly on Ishita as she had taken indirectly Shagun's place. Her mother had a very hard time to handle her.
Soon the function ended and all went back to their homes. Raghu uncle, Ishita and Mihir also went to Bhalla house only on senior Bhallas insistence and to help them...
