Divyanka's contribution to the field of
entertainment has been immense. Recently,
on Women's Day, the actor in an exclusive
statement to us said, "Now we see more of
female-oriented films being made. This
clearly indicates that there's a certain rise in
feminism amongst audience, men and
women alike. Yet there's a long way to go.
Women-oriented films should be so much a
part of the industry that it should sound too
obvious like having a mobile phone in each
household."
She added, "As far as TV is concerned, I'm
proud to say - it's ruled by women!
Homemakers can always draw examples
from the woman power working for Indian
Television and get inspired."
On if she believes in the concept of women
ruling the world one day, Divyanka stressed
that she believes in equality and not on any
particular gender ruling the world. "I don't
think women should be ruling the world.
Only they should be at par with men at all
times, giving them a tough competition and
a constant survival pressure. That will be a
fair deal," Divyanka stated.
