Agreed, they have managed to make Shagun a samdhan of Bhallas with all the stupid twists n turns of the story. We consider Iyers as part of Raman's family though they are the samdhis of Bhallas...n ideally same should be the case with Adi's in-laws. But the biggest truth here is, no matter what label Shagun's relation gets ever in this story, it doesn't change the fact that she was a cheap ex-wife of Raman n hence the sautan of Ishita...n hence no nayi soch can allow us to include her in the family anymore!
She is only the mother of DIL of Bhallas, she should stay in her limits. Even when we consider Iyers a family, I have never seen amma interfering in Ishita's matters. Ishita has always politely asked her Amma to stay out of their family's matters n go home, she would explain later...n Toshi toh has thousand times shouted on Amma for even talking about their family's matters. I want Ishita to do the same with Shagun. I m dying to see the scenes like those of yhm 1.0 where Raman used to shout on Shagun "Get the hell out of here", "Shut up Shagun, u stay out of this", "Y don't u mind ur own business", "y do u butt into anything" etc. and Ishita too to ask her in her most politely sarcastic n insulting ways like "Humare ghar mein har rishte ki boundaries hai aur koi uss boundary ko cross nahi karta", "yeh mere aur mere pati k beech ki baat hai, toh please tum beech mein mat bolo". I remember once when Shagun had tried to preach Ishita about how Raman gets angry for no reason n all, Ishita had said on her face that we don't fight, we just have difference of opinions at times n we know to deal with it. How I wish Raman had said the same dialogue in yesterday's bench talk! But alas, those Raman n Ishita don't exist anymore. I so miss Vandita or that old bold Mihika or Mihir who would knock some sense in Raman n Ishita's mind if they would give undue footage to Shagun n her tantrums!
Just because she has turned so positive, it doesn't give her any access to IshRa's life. Its ok if they want to keep Shagun for the sake of AH, but at least keep her role for being insulted this way by IshRa or even the kids n Toshi time n again please, that would be some entertainment at least😆

When it comes to interfering in couple's matter, I remember even pendulum bhalla had decency to not interfere in her own son and Dil fights.
But shagun toh, barges into ishra's room and ask them to stop fighting like kids
And ishra both like kids, go to her and complain to her on one other.
And like you said, ishra asking her to shut up or asking her to be in limits,when she interferes is out of question, because many times we see ishra themselves running to shagun for help.
Okay for once just imagine that shagun has really changed and she is really guilty about her sins, and came to ask pardon from ishra. As far as I understood ishra as characters, they would surely forgive her. Even be nice with her.
But did it end there for the friendship to develop? How many times did she betray them again and again? Still, it's so stupid to see ishra running to her, as if she has pulled their lives from darkness to light.
Not even Bala, vandu, mihika, anyone deserves this kind of ' royal treatment' that shagun enjoys from ishra. Bala, vandu, mihika are the real family to ishra and also good friends. But ishra-gun relationship neither looks like family nor friends, sometimes I feel like they are being slaves to shagun, sometimes I feel like ishra have no choice but to befriend her no matter what. Their talks look so forced🥱
And forgot to mention, once ishra called shagun to their room and revealed her the entire chuha2-chuhi story, as if it's their responsibility to share the issue with shagun. I just couldn't take it that day😡
That's why I felt ashok's redemption was better any day. Even ishok friendship was shown as if they were friends from childhood,sharing ishita's problems looked puking but he was not so overly involved in Ishra's life like shagun. Many times he at least apologized Ishita and the best thing is he died before changing his colour again.
On top of that, shagun is the bloody ex😡. She betrayed her own husband and children😡. Still they forgave. Again she betrayed. This time not just forgiven but gave her free pass to their lives.😡
