@red--First-- it has not happen in my locality --as i stay in one of the most progressive state in India --That is Goa.

If you go to local-crime section you will find such cases --I have not said these is regular or common custom but it is not like it Never happens in Real life

If you read everyday newspaper daily --you will definitely come across these kind of case---unfortunately what we read on Digital /Websites is Compress News ---where only sensational or content with generate maximum hits is posted

I am the old school like--reading newspapers, weekly magazines like.

Third---This Marriage track is long track or not depends on TRP & IPL --As STAR PLUS will REVAMP AFTER IPL

I am also against and hate this track of marriage--CV could have cooked something else then showing this disgusting stuff

All this romi watching ,ishu watching is to increase the level of drama.
Seriously the idea is for viewers to not watch this.
All these segments release is for watching defense n bashing of Raman.
Then the necessary points will be provided caked up to be used in the show.
When ishra were together there were no segments.
If ishu had hadML then who would have done the kaand?
Whom to bash?
Sp bahu alone will have only one marriage.
Ie to the ml.
This is where the other channels are different n interesting for watching .

I am not shocked to see this as we all knew that Raman would agree for the marriage and even go and invite the Iyers personally...lol. What is really curious here is the desperation with which the writers are compromising every character, every dynamic (except Param) just to make sure Raman and Mihika reach the altar!! I can understand they want to make a high point out of this wedding drama, but at what cost?
