post 1st leap when pihu was totally attached to shagun and went to live wid her...Raman did everything possible to get her back...he told shagun to stay away frm pihu knowing how much it wud hurt his daughter...he even banned her frm meeting pihu...

even now d situation is similar for him...Pihu is attached to someone not from d family and he is doing everything possible to get her back...he wants pihu to get attached to her "mother" and not a neighbour...and he grabbed d 1st suggestion that was thrown at him by his sister...
