Thank you for the PM Di!!! A very intoxicating story!!! Have seen movies where the protagonist gets involved in anti social dealings owing to a bitter past... However, never read or thought of this adaption for RKB, who has mostly been stereotyped as a shrewd businessman or as a person of high social standing...
One more interesting point in this story is Ishita being a doctor, it's not something new but this became a Don vs Doc love story, where in the former kills lives as a part of his misdoings whereas the latter's resolve is to save lives, a paradox...
The story started off on a filmy note where in a good to do Ishita comes to the rescue of Raman and both fall in love subsequently..One thing that always stands out in your stories is gripping narration, which gives an exotic flavor to the scenes...
The hospital scene where in Ishita comforts Raman and assures the well being of Mihir portrays how vulnerable and attached Raman is...In fact, Raman became a don due to the happenings in his life, owing to his father's betrayal and infidelity...
Another instance where Raman rescues Ishita from teasers and chides her for going all alone in the night brings out a possessive Raman..Ishita too devastated with the sudden turn of events, breaks down inconsolably and this time Raman provides her with the necessary warmth... A scene which testifies how each of them find solace in the other..
Mimi's drama and the subsequent confessions of IshRa was another riveting track...IshRa were exasperated and withered away on learning that their dreams would remain as such and all their hopes dashed to the ground... However, Raman spills out the beans and confesses his heart which sows seeds for their eventful journey...
The kiss following their confession throws up how desperate they were for each other, especially Raman who had lost faith, hope and love in his life... He pours out the pangs of his heart, which is longing for a partner, whom he can trust for life..
However, since all the stories need some spiciness, the revelation of Raman's haunting background did create a havoc in IshRa's lives..Ishita was distraught and Raman was helpless...The former believed Raman without an iota of suspicion , the latter was hesitant about her reaction.. Raman didn't lie to her at any instant but yes he concealed it on every occasion...
In an impulsive state, Ishita nods to Subbu's proposal and even slaps Raman when he tries to capture her lips but the same Ishita lost herself in his touches, sweet ministrations which shows her inner turmoil.. She loves Raman but was clearly hurt after knowing his truth.. Wasn't her love strong enough for him to blurt out his dark side, an open ended debate... However, they have reconciled and Ishita voices out her heart in front of her family..
Another noteworthy character is Mihir..Mihir has been so pivotal in this story unlike any other...He played a Cupid and made IshRa realize their love. It was his accident which bought them closer in the hospital, later on he was the one who yielded pressure on Raman to give up his don life and settle like any other of his age..He is the one who planted the seeds of jealousy in Ishita, which directed her thinking towards Raman.. Along with Mihika, he connived a trap which made IshRa to vent out their feelings...Also his relationship with Raman was another highlight, brothers sleeping in the same bed conveys the spirit of togetherness and the unassailable bond they share...
