I don't think any parent would give the duty of comforting their kids to some strangers. Raman was happily allowing Ishita to get along with pihu.

Even in 11pm yhm, before their marriage, raman never allowed Ishita to interfere in ruhi's matters like a family, shagun used to send ruhi to ishita very often for her selfish reasons.

The basic question any counselor would ask about a kid is who are her parents? This counselor hasn't asked anything even after pihu said that her parents are separated just because of her. She also gave the duty to Ishita, just because pihu went and hugged her

Normal Raman would think that Ishita is playing some tricks on his daughter to befriend her and must have thought that Ishita has some selfish reasons behind this. Just because it's Ishita, we are able to accept this, but if it's really some stranger whom he met 2 months back?

Okay maybe we should assume that Raman has lost his ability of rational thinking with the medicines.

The track would have been more interesting had Raman made it more tougher for ishita to get into their lives.

@red - That is my concern too about counselor not asking about her parents and giving the responsibility to Ishita straightaway, either not knowing who she is or "assuming" her to be Pihu's mother,😕.

Regarding Raman, I guess he got to see and hear about the concern Ishita has for Pihu just the day before. She was the one who suggested him about this counselor saying something is bothering Pihu. So even though he is irritated with her following them everywhere, he knows about Ishita's concern for Pihu, Pihu's affection for Ishita and now if the counselor feels Pihu appears to be safe and secure around Ishita,he is letting it be, so that Ishita atleast can try and extract what is bothering Pihu. I don't think he has anything else in mind. He has no other means to get his daughter out of the state she is in and now she is his priority. Just my POV.

@bold - True. May be that would have brought a more practical yet fierceful Ishita to the forefront?😕. No idea.

If we are assuming then we can assume that ishita already called the counselor,she is the one who suggest the Counselor to raman via aliya.May be she would have speak with the counselor earlier itself about the situation.U see the counselor was calling ishita first not raman when pihu started crying,there pihu didn't told anything about ishita to counselor, she told only about her mother,So,we can assume that the counselor already knows that ishita is her mother & when isharpi was leaving then too counselor was looking at ishita .
