Dear YHM team, Balaji telefilms & Eka Kapoor,

With the change in times we are used to the fast paced world and its temperament. But we are not yet in a space wherein we encourage child abuse.

The popular TV serial Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been showing child abuse on screen for quite some time now.
The young girl Pihu is being tortured and bullied by her aunt and is in tears all the time.
How is this justified, even if this is a script. I would say that, even enacting a scene like this would impact the young girl.

Shame on Star TV Asia and Balaji telefilms to promote such thoughts in their scripts in the name of TRP.

Very sad to see that there is no opposition from the viewers as well.

Have stopped viewing the serial since this trend started.

Good luck to the producers and directors of this sick storyline.

I also vehemently protested against it...

Children also watch this show as it airs at 7.30...

But seems Star Plus is not bothered...To them this is entertainment...

Good luck to the show...With it's illiterate CVS ...

Hi All,

I am sure the viewers are not happy with what they are being shown and maybe even avoiding to see the serial when it airs, as children are also watching these shows with them.

When I say that there is no opposition from Viewers, it implies that no one has sent a written feedback to the CVS on this.

I am sure no viewers are happy to watch child abuse everyday on Start TV for 30 minutes.

In summary, television is a powerful medium and people responsible should draw parameters as to what should be permitted and what will deteriorate our society.

They not only show child abuse but also supports and promote it as at the end either the villain duo will be forgiven or at the most banished from the family for few months and then brought when the story-line will need them again .

Right from the beginning there has been child abuse that has been depicted. The way ADI was systematically brain washed by Shagun and Ashok, later the way in which Ruhi was treated by Shagun and Nidhi and now pihu.in every case it may be caused by majboori but it is painful to watch children being abused . In the case of ADI and Ruhi it was not shown on a regular basis but in this track the way in which Simmi is resorting to every trick in the book in the name of payback for losing her child ...abusing the very people who ensured the safety and well being of her daughter she now seems to remember all the time is disgusting to the core.

We need the advocate who appeared for Ishitha in the accident track and the judge I want to file a PIL for the custody of pihu to the viewers

Guys, the one way we can protest is to have a petition made on it, just like PPK. We need to sign it and promote it on social media to get others to sign it. The more people on social media that notice it and read it, they will realise why its wrong to show this track, and they will sign it. This is the only way to get the channel and production house to notice.

If they can kill off ananya, they can kill of simmi. What param is doing, I don't care as much because he's always been evil, but this is simmi doing all this horrendous stuff to her own family and blood. It's deplorable, and her character cannot be forgiven just because of the death of her daughter. She's made a joke out of her own daughter's death by harming her own family, tearing them apart, and abusing and torturing her own little niece.
