I was just thinking the progress Ishra has made from a get out/dafaa ho jao to I wish you were dead. What a progress in the Mohabbatein.

Now a child is getting abused in a joint family and not one soul even realised. No words to say.

Hi aarthi

Glorifying child abuse in the name of entertainment is unacceptable and viewers in. Social media should call out thePH and network about it. Every show highlights society's nastiest treatment of women - physical abuse, mental and emotional abuse and psychotics terrorizing the women while the men (who see themselves the almighty protectors of the women in their lives stand around like statues doing nothing.

Network are ultimately accountable for the content they air. Sick people who treat women with contempt see TV glorifying their behaviors and it only emboldens them to continue ratcheting it up even more.

I checked out a few other SP shows and yet again children and women being held captive and.abused seems the trend these days. Why aren't the actors drawing the line when it comes to such crass tracks? Most who mindless watch such content as a relaxing entertainment are also feedngt ther subconscious loads of dark information that desensitizes them over time to the "evil ways of society enough. To. Make people turn a. Blind eye to social problems with the attitude "nothing I can do, it's not happening to me or my family so why do I have to care.

What are the writers feeding themselves that they highlight society's dark ways but rarely she'd light on how they can be addressed or resolved?

Women slapping. Men is not acceptable either. Is this really nayi soch? Not a chance, they need. To go take a good hard look at their soch🤓

Can't agree more. In fact my husband and me were talking about this a couple of days ago. Instead of banning Padmavati they should ideally ban all these. This has more harmful impact on the society.

Where the hell is that"bratty " pihu who humiliated the "haarwali aunty"just cos she was manipulated into believing that ishita's presence in her life meant bad things for her. If pihu can be a brat back then , then she can be one now too (and unlike last time she actually has a justifiable reason to support her actions). Why doesn't she unleash her brattiness... Hasn't her sajan Ka sasural taught her everything that she needs to know abt life. Secondly,If not to anyone she can atleast tell her mamma who is quite visibly rooting for team ishu.
P.s I am sorry if I offended any pihu fan, bcos I m really confused with rd's portrayal of a bratty pihu post 1st leap and her portrayal of pihu now- a helpless child that's constantly being abused. I understand CVS knack&need for constantly butchering every character in that show, but I thought that they will atleast be consistent with RD

Hon nailed it again...
I completely agree...they take it all to the extreme...there is no stopping them...they should educate the people ..that's giving back to the society...teach them.create awareness...how to identify the abuse, hotline to report and treatments ...
And violence should never be encouraged ..that goes for both the sexes...

Ishita should have allowed Pihu to go back into the boarding school as the girl can atleast breathe there. Her purpose of getting Pihu to the office was done which was knowing her whereabouts. From here she should have taken the judicial way to meet Pihu rather than making her stay in Bhalla house which is more torturing.

CV's have taken a very serious issue once again which is Chile abuse. This track was taken up during 1st leap also and now once again. In the first track it was indeed handled well but here since they are showing the abuse done by aunt itself, CV's have to be careful with the ending as Ektas logic of family comes first and forgiving in family should be there cannot be implied here. she needs to be punished harshly and as you said her character needs to end after this track as their is no scope of redemption or acceprance of this character anymore.

Secondly, CV's should show Pihu gathering her courage and opening her mouth to stop grievances coz the strength of any abuser is the abused silence. Through this the CV's should pass out a strong message that the abused child should speak up about their problem with their near and dear ones , however scared they are.

Thirdly, CV's in order to show Ishita as a problem solver should not allow her to keep hiding this fact from people. She should be sharing about this problem and asking help from people like Adi, Ruhi, Aaliyah, Romi and Mihika who have shown after leap that they are with her in her plans.

Ishita should also be shown taking drastic steps such as installing CCTV in Pihu 's room and exposing Simmi's face in front of all by playing that video.

I hope the way CV's handled the first child abuse track, they handle even this properly.

Hon I agree
I feel bad for pihu as a kid...
Otherwise that character...is so done...this is for pihu to be sympathized...they never showed ishpi...but as you pointed out pihu was a complete brat and uttered disgust8ng things and almost called her a characterless woman.
Apparently her soap training failed as she was shipped off to boarding school...maybe she might have if she still watched...basically that kid lost touch...that's all. Yes only shag7n mumma is her mumma as she came from her tummy...why can she share with her?

Hon..you didn't offend anyone...I don't think anyone is pihu's fan in this thread.

Consistencies...lol they can't even maintain consistency from 1 epi to another...even within episodes...

The reason we feel bad for pihu cuz it's played by RD..that's it...
