Even my staunch daily soaps' viewer mom said after watching today's episode " aise maa hone se na hona achcha hai"
I just don't get the cvs! Does an ideal mother mean she'll nod to whatever her children demand regardless of right or wrong??

This is a different ishu post surrogacy.
She is yet to come out of that shock.
Raman placed shags on a pedestal by opting for surrogacy n making shags The surrogate mom.
Ishu never truly recovered from that.
Infact no sane person can.
An aaya stays a aaya.
A step mom stays a step mom.
Only an adulteress can be a responsible mom.
Wow.This show comes one circle.
Obviously that ma'am who spoke about ishu's chr has not watched the show from the beginning.
Raman n ishu take turns in doing wrong.
There is nothing new here.

I don't agree that Ishita never came out of the shock of thrusting surrogacy on her as I saw her not only endorsing it but taking it to the next level by conspiring and collaborating with Shagun right after that during the bhoot track and making Shagun her bestie in the process which has lasted till to date. But I do agree both Raman and Ishita do horrible mistakes in cycles. However, Raman is not hailed as an ideal father, ideal husband etc but Ishita is still hailed and marketed by the cvs as ideal mother/ideal wife despite many horrible mistakes. This is very bad for the novice fans from rural ares who believe that whatever Ishima does is right. The message is wrong and its aftereffects will be catastrophic in their minds.

How good Ruhi's upbringing is and how good Ishita has been as a mother revealed today!
Seeing what Ruhi had done today, I am sure, even Shagun's mom would feel proud of her daughter's upbringing!

Ishita is no mother.Neither she has brains to be a mother. She is just an aaya/caretaker and that too very bad at her job. Stupid aya brings up idiot child - not very hard to fathom...

Copy paste from another thread:
Lol...heard that Ruhi slapped Romi today and all are ok with it. What a carpfest...🤣So how to expect the ideal mom of that kind of show would be of any good??

Not comparing but just an apt FYI for all, in the first season of KRPAB, the male lead Dev unintentionally slapped his wife Sonakshi's father and that became the prime basis for their apparent divorce and time leap in the show. This is how much serious the issue is in real life!

About Ishita's motherhood, she never behaves like a mother. Rather she behaves like a glorified puppet; this could be disastrous for a teenage and this is what exactly happening By saying "yes" to anything to what children say or demand doesn't make a woman mother but the YHM CVs twisted logic works only this way. Ruhi is completely and utterly spoiled and when she'll realize it when she'll have to pay one day and on that day she will blame her Ishima for misery.

Tulsi of Kyunki... was the iconic mother. She loved her children her to the core yet took firm stand when things went wrong. Imagine Ishita in place of Tulsi, her son is approaching to rape a girl but she is submissive or waiting for the "right moment" to knock some senses into him. Ludicrous! If one has to wait for the "right moment" for such serious matters, that time will never come.

Tulsi shot her son in 2003 partially inspired by Mehbbob Khan's 1957 legendary film "Mother India". If BT can reproduce such impressive imitation on tv 14 years back, why its another show YHM's content is so regressive? I blame the duo Sandip and Sonali for that. Total waste.

Well, I don't think the majority of tv audience hails Ishita as an ideal mother or so, maybe online teenage audience or staunch loyalist. But that's just tiny segment of a vast audience. Ishita still has some semblance of motherhood only because Raman is being reduced to a screeching phlegmatic beast. Maju Kapoor would hate that but that is what taklu ganag had turned Raman into. Raman is the CEO of a MNC leading diverse group human resources but at home he can do anything other than screeching and squeaking...!! And we were made to believe a CEO, that too best in the country, does not have basic human communication functionality...how on earth he deals thousands of employees in his company if lacks basic communication skills?!! I bet KP must have laughed hard many time's CEO Raman's plight, specially when his father, many of his friends and even his little cousin's sister all are CEOs. No one can be a manager let alone a CEO if he/she doesn't have proficient human management skills. Cunning CVs know dumb audience would gobble up anything if they add the flavor of pseudo-feminism and that's that. Right Raman's wrong approaches make wrong Ishita's actions justified! Rinse n Repeat every time... bravado! 👏👏
The real CEO...the real RKB wasn't like this. He had anger issue, specially when it used to touch the chord of its broken relationships but still he knew how to do the right things and how to do the things right ...HRM-101 for a CEO. Since the time slot change and specially early 2015 sauten fight saga, Raman has slowly reduced to a cuss house husband. We have debated long hours and pages after pages in this forum but concluded that RKB would never be back, hence the golden YHM will never come back. At that time it was good mother vs bad mother crap and after that, its beauty and the beast! Therefore, mow senseless Raman makes the brainless Ishita an ideal wife, mother and oppressed bechari too. Without this equation, there is no story. So deal with it! But this version of Ishita is caricature of daily soap mothers and soon be forgotten once the show goes off air. No one remembers EK's previous shows' pseudo feminist mothers, no will remember Ishima too except a few.

Kyunki also characterized ML as some passive beast to glorify Tulsi's sainthood further. But yeah, Tulsi scored highly as a mother, specially compared to BT's current leading bahu as a mother. I read in a recent of iv where EK herself admitted MLs are being shown unnecessarily regressive and the talented male lead actors turned into high pitched screchowls 😆 That's why she is recruiting her past male leads Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor, Rajeev, Sushant with balanced contents for ALT balaji shows...let's see if EK can remain true to her words...😆

Damn you Indian television!
The root cause of such content being shown is that idiotic people, despite criticizing the content; still watch it! How do you expect change if you don't even work towards it!

Also, if you do actually treat it as your way of "escapism" then bear with it!

I don't think Indian television has produced any good tv shows in the past few years but Ek Hasina Thi was amazing! I want more such TV shows!

BTW, I have stopped watching YHM because I clearly despise what all they show. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Don't give it viewership! 🤔

Looking forward to Rajeev's collaboration with EK again after more than a decade. It's better be good!
