Raman and raj drop ishita and candy to the shop and Raj said -we r going to register for marriage in church for tomorrow, till then u two pick clothes for urself.
Ishita and candy nodded and start walking when raman called ishita and said giving his card -i will not get time to pick clothes for myself, toh mere liye bhi suit le lena. OK.
Ishita nodded and raman went pecking her lips telling her to take care. Raj too kissed candy and finally both the boys went to arrange everything.
Ishita and candy went into the shop and start seeing white gowns for the wedding. After looking for much time, ishita picked a beautiful gown for herself and even picked one for Toshiji. She picked three suits, one for raman, one for appa and one for mr bhalla. She was just too happy that she was about to experience church wedding. She was smiling constantly waiting for toshiji's gown as it was gone for alteration.
Ishita was sitting when she saw candy looking at the wedding gowns caressing it. Ishita walked to her and said -if u r liking any, pick one for urself too. U know u will look too pretty in these gowns.
Candy smiled meekly and said-no need ,mere paas bahut gown hai and after all, u r the bride not me.
Ishita -haan, yeh baat toh hai. Ek idea hai, what if u two also get engage with us.
Candy -its not possible, I am not lucky like u, u r very lucky, ishy. Ur mother in law is so cool.
Ishita -wow toh hai, she is the best. Aur woh meri saas nahi, she is my mother only. But why u said so.
Candu-She instantly got agreed for church wedding. My sasu mom ne toh strictly mana kar diya tha, for church wedding when I gave this suggestion for our engagement.i too wanted to dress like a bride wearing this white gown but she said safed rang ashubh hota hai. Raj ne kitna manane ki koshish ki but she didn't agreed. That's why u r lucky, u r getting a mother in ur mother in law. Sab itne lucky nahi hote. she said sadly while ishita looked at her and could feel her sadness. she thought to do something for candy and said something to the shopkeeper.
On the other hand, Toshiji was busy in making food when Raj's mother went to her and said -what u r doing, behen ji.
Toshiji -kuch nahi khana bana rahi hoon, bachche bhookhe aayenge.
Raj's mother -why u r doing all this, ishita can come and do all this.
Toshiji -haan woh toh bana hi sakti hai, but main bhi toh bana sakti hoon. Mera aur iska kuch baantta hua thodi naa hai. Jaise raman mera puttar waise ishita bhi meri hi bachchi hai. She said chopping the vegetables smiling.
Raj's mother -sach mein, u r very good toshiji,ek toh apni hone wali bahu ko beti maanti hai aur ab yeh angrezo wali shaadi ke liye bhi ready ho gayi hai. Really u r wonderful, warna kaun yeh angrezi dhakoslo ke liye ready hota hai. Candy ne hume bhi yeh idea diya tha, but I toh strictly denied. Arey punjabiyon ki baat hi alag hoti hai. Yeh safed kapde mein kaun si shaadi hoti hai. Waise mujhe toh lagta hai aapko bhi mana kar dena chahiye. Safed rang ashubh hota hai. Aur bahu ko shuru se hi kaabu mein rakhna chahiye, warna woh bete ko maa baap se alag kar deti hai. She said looking to toshiji making her smile.
Toshiji -meri bachchi aisi nahi hai, usme mere sanskaar hai.woh bachpan se mere saath raho hai. Apne appa se jyada waqt mere saath guzara hai usne. Raman se jyada mujhe pyaar karti hai.woh kabhi bhi kuch aisa nahi kar sakti ki uski maa ke dil dukhe. Aur jahan tak baat shubh-ashubh ki hai, mere bachchon ki muskaan se jyada shubh kuch nahi ho sakta. She said and resumed her work again and Raj's mother went back to room while her words were ringing in toshiji's mind.
After sometime, Ishra came back with Raj and candy. Ishita saw toshiji working in kitchen and immediately went to her keeping the bags aside.
Ishita -maa, what r u doing here alone??
Toshiji smiled and said -nothing, was making food for everyone. Sab ghar aayen hai toh bina khana khilaye kaise bhej sakte hai.
Ishita -aisi baat thi toh u must have told me. Main ruk jaati, why u r doing all alone. This is not done maa, aapki tabiyat waise bhi thik nahi rehti. I will not allow this, Aap baahar jaiye. I will do everything else. She said scolding Toshiji while she was just smiling at Ishita's concern.
Toshiji -chalo mil kar kaam kar lete hai.
Ishita -no way, u have already done for the day. Aap jaiye, main aur happy baaki ka kaam kar lenge. Aur candy bhi toh hai. She said and sent Toshiji to rest.
Toshiji look at Raj's mother who was looking all this.
Toshiji -maine kaha tha naa, she loves me alot.
Raj's mother didn't said anything but just smiled meekly.
Soon ishra and candy along with Raj and sammy start serving food and soon all were eating. Candy serve Raj and sammy too while ishita went to serve raman but he denied saying both will have it together. After having food all went to their respective house while ishra parents too went to rest.
Ishra sat together and had their food happily feeding each other. After having food ishita went to toshiji and said -maa, Aap so rahi hai.
Toshiji got up and said -nahi puttar, just resting. Kya hua bol.
Ishita -kapde dikhane aayi hoon. She said excitedly.
Toshiji -show me.
Ishita started showing the clothes. At first she showed the men's suit. Toshiji was impressed by her choice. Then she showed her own gown and lastly toshiji's gown.
Toshiji -tu pagal hai, main gown nahi pehnne wali.
Ishita -maa, u will just too good. Please maa pehen lo naa, u r my good maa naa.she was pleading to toshiji like a kid making her smile.
Toshiji -achcha baba,pehan lungi, ab khush.
Ishita nodded happily and said -bahut khush, u know maa,u r the best. She was saying when Toshiji look at the bag and said -yeh gown kiska hai.
Ishita -yeh maine candy ke liye kiya hai, u know maa,she was very sad. It was telling me how her mother in law denied for church wedding when she wanted it.
Toshiji -haan, Raj ki mummy mujhse bhi keh rahi thi, to cancel ur church wedding, she was telling,
Safed rang ashubh hota hai, both said in unison and smiled.
Toshiji -toh what's the plan??
Ishita -i want them to get married with us, aap Raj ki mummy ji convince karengi naa, maa.
Toshiji -main, nahi re baba. She is much khadoos. Mujhe bhadka rahi thi tere khilaaf.
Ishita -maa please naa. Aap toh itne cute ho, itna convincing samjhata ho, everyone will listen to u. Please naa maa. They r doing so much for us, we should also do something for them. She said making a baby face.
Toshiji -hmm, OK will try. But can't promise. She said and ishita hugged Toshiji tightly.
Toshiji hugged her back and said -mera bachcha, sabke liye achcha sochta hai. She was saying hugging ishita when they heard -sabko hug milta hai naa mujhe nahi milta.
Toshiji and ishita turn and saw raman standing there.
Ishita -aa gaye, bade wale jalkukkade. Maa hugs me alot coz she loves me alot. Naa maa.
Toshiji nodded while Raman too adjusted himself in the hug and said -jyada nahi thoda saa pyaar karo. I will adjust in thoda pyaar only.
Toshiji caressed his forehead and said -why I will love my puttar thoda saa, I love my both kids equally. She said and hugged ishra tight while Ishra too hugged Toshiji tight.
Raman -waise Aap dono kya baatein kar rahi thi.
Toshiji -nothing much, was thinking of something. Tu bata, u want to say something.
Raman-woh maa, actually main kuch soch raha hoon. U know Raj was very sad today, candy aur Raj bhi church wedding karna chahte the but his mother denied saying,
Safed rang ashubh hota hai, trio said in unison when raman looked at them and asked -haan but aap dono ko kaise pata.
Ishita smiled and said -candy told me this and Raj's mother too told about this to maa, and we were thinking about raj-candy marriage in church. Thinking to convince his mother for same.
Raman -oh my god, I don't believe this, I was also about to say the same thing. Raj and candy has done much for us, I too want to do this for them. Hum unki church wedding karwayenge ,kisi bhi tarah. Karwayenge naa maa.
Toshiji -ofcourse, agar mere bachche chahte hai toh we will surely try aur agar hum try karenge toh succeed bhi jarur honge. She said and Ishra hugged her hapoily nodding in yes.
