I am really happy doing the popular show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein - Hritu

Actor Hritu Dudani Smith who was
enjoying her blissful motherhood
phase after her son's birth is now
back to acting!! Hritu is married to
Director Noel Smith.
The actress who was last seen as the
lead in Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra
Bandhan is now back with yet
another popular show of Ekta Kapoor,
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein on Star Plus.
Hritu is playing the role of Pooja, the
ex-wife of Nikhil (Ribbhu Mehra).
Pooja will be a stern character, an
independent business woman who
will come in as the blast from the past
of Nikhil. As per the ongoing track,
Nikhil and Ruhi are in love. Nikhil and
Pooja would have been divorced and
viewers will get to see this back story.
Hritu's character will have a grey
shade.
On her comeback, Hritu shares her
thoughts with IndianWikiMedia.com.
"I am back and my passion for acting
has brought me back. Motherhood
has been great. My son was born last
year exactly on the date of Ganesh
Chaturthi. On 5 September, my son
will be one year old. When I got a call
from Balaji for this show, I could not
refuse. My mummy is taking care of
my son in my absence.
"I am really happy doing Yeh Hai
Mohabbatein. It is a very popular
show, and I could not have asked for
a better comeback. All are so nice on
the set. And with Balaji, I enjoy a very
close equation. I shot for my show
Pavitra Bandhan till I was eight
months pregnant. It feels great to
make a comeback on GEC after a long
time, says Hritu whose stint in shows
like Bandini, Bittoo has been popular.
"This role is different with regards to
the styling and look given to me. The
character is of an independent
business woman, and I have been
given a very stylized look. My look is
vbery different from whatever I have
portrayed so far, states Hritu on her
character in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
Hritu was seen as the lead opposite
Ssharad Malhotra in the movie Ek Tera
Saath.
