Love your reviews and all the others who comment and give their perspective. Adi was always prone to cut corners when the going gets tough...same as Romi to show Raman..Raman never compromised on his ethics when it comes to business. But Romi and Adi never learn as Ishra always bail them out in the end. This combined with what he observed with Shagun and Ashok..and being impulsive and weak in mind..false pride and ego and a Aliya (mini Shagun - she was always shown as wanting her way- she was trying brainwash Ishita into being her mom for real.).for a life partner will be his downfall.
These two are too young to marry..this day and age who marries in the early twenties as they both are not settled yet in their careers..and parents also went ahead..they did not learn anything from the failure of Sharam marriage. They could have gone ahead with the story line of Steve Martin movie..that is a wish that is never going to happen..

Ishita being a step mother is a fact..that is her title..even if everyone (kids and Ishita)feels genuinely that she is their mother..cvs make it sound that being a step mother is a insult. THey could have shown Adi telling them, yes she is my step mother and the best step mother any kid can have and she means more than his real mother..in my opinion that would have been nice. Raman/Shagun loving their kids is ok, no one doubts their love, in spite of the mistakes they make. For Ishita and the kids the relationship they built was their choice not forced so I feel it is even more stronger than the khoon ka rishta. They are bound by love...but the cvs show this sauteli..crap and making Ishita feel less than Shagun is not palatable. But if the kids get influenced and doubt her love..then nature is more imp than nurture, then Ishita will always remain infertile irrespective of what the kids call her and how many mother days cakes they cut, it will mean nothing..

Not sure I made any sense..

Hi Madhavi
Loved what you wrote
@ bold...bang on..you nailed it..
Cvs themselves are showing nature wins...
This Mother's Day cake cutting was just for viewers..mainly in this thread..as we were ranting about step mom, never the mother ."etc etc ..no meaning at all..

Adi started changing from the signature forgery...the Episode where Raman said he is proud of Adi...the Khandpur phase and manipulations with Romi's tutoring has taken him on a self destructive course...add to that the manipulation of the MUMMA.
Reaslisation will dawn and then A&A will drop the Mumma rant.

Remember even before the lipstick episode in Gulabo track, Adi was keen on a flat of his own with privacy. Alu on the other hand loves the attention of the family, now when they break away and have only Shagun to fan their egos it will really pave way for destruction.
Sautali Maa an distancing from Adi which is the vulnerable point of both will surface, hope we have a proper closure of matters.
